I found what I think is a myrmecia mandibularis queen a few years ago on a bush walk and have kept her and her colony ever since. Hey there! Question, did you ever heat the nest at all? Also, my queens are doing something odd, a small cricket invaded their current test tube and all they did was run it off, they did not attack. Thoughts?

this is awesome! try to watch out for one eating the other. maybe give them some space if you notice it
Thanks! They tend to cannibalize their dead regardless of space. I will be getting very large outworlds for these colonies as they expand.

Do you have neoponera apicalis?
No you cannot find them in Texas. Only N. villosa ranges just over the Texas and Mexico border.
What type of glass did you use for the fomicarum
It is called Museum Glass. Has a very low glare.
