- The GS-6 from Karma takes style and electrification to a new level. On the outside you will find the very unique body body lines, full LED lighting, optional wheels, massive Brembo brakes, and carbon fiber touches. On the inside you will be greeted by a high level of fit & finish, 10in infotainment system screen and digital gauge display. This car doesn’t get the marketing it deserves! I remember doing a presentation on the Fisker Karma back around 2010 when the car was solar powered from the sun ☀️. The design of these car is stunning 🤩

Absolutely beautiful car; I love the way they sloped the roof to make it look coupe like. The only thing that would concern me is long term reliability and the scarce dealer network. Great review and camera work as always.

That back seat looks uncomfortable. Great review. I think this is doomed to fail like the last iteration. Too expensive and doesn't offer anything special besides a unique look. Lagging in performance and functionality.
It’s been out for like 5 years now and holding strong, I think they’re doing okay. Karma wasn’t planning on selling big numbers

One of the most beautiful sedans ever designed. Especially now the front end change from the Fisker which looked like the Joker from Batman. It's the outstanding classic look like 60s Jaguars XKE.
It's asking price is just too high. It wasn't successful before and it still looks like a C7 and it'll be confused for a C7.
Bulky badge and script is just not very attractive.
Just the design kills it for me is a great car but I wish it was just more original. If this was in the $50-$60 segment, I think it would do very well but at it's price point it's just kind of a pass for me.

I remember the brand as fisker a decade ago and the model fisker karma was disaster. Now they're back as a different name and this ev looks promising to be standout. Just from first looks of this its sexy and sleek looking inside and out

This is taking me back to 2012 When The first Fisker karma debut. and I’m not gonna lie I thought that car was incredibly great looking even better than the Tesla Model S. If it only lasted longer than one year

I have always loved these. Growing up I wanted to be a car designer, I was actually really good at it. But this is exactly what I would have produced inside and out. I love it, it screams me lol. I love that is has the engine as range extender. One thing that I do miss is the cool futuristic transparent display in the console which gave it even more character.

I love the styling of this car much more than the Tesla. What separates this car from the other EV offerings is the lack of range anxiety. My only hang up is the overall performance top speed is 125. This sporty looking exotic car should top out at 155 at a minimum for their asking price. Thanks for the review!!

Wow, Joe! I've never seen this car before. Thanks for reviewing this! I never heard of the Karma brand. It's a nice sporty 4-door coupe like sedan. However, it lacks some key features for the price point.

I think that the only thing that will sell these cars is the styling. I pass multiple Fiskers every day sitting on a dealer lot and they are a sight to behold. I hope the company can stay afloat long enough to make better and more beautiful products but this thing's powertrain is honestly quite pathetic, especially for the price.

I like the looks of the vehicle and the fact that I won't get stuck without a charge when going to some of the more remote towns in our state. The mpg for gas and mpge are OK and the pricing isn't too high like some of the other luxury EVs out there. The only down side for me is the drone of the 3 cylinder engine.
Beautiful car.. My only concern is that odd 3 cylinder sound/drone when on throttle. Maybe it sounds better in person. Great review!

There’s a couple features I would change, like wireless charging front and rear, maybe some rear seat entertainment (screens), lose the chrome or make it black chrome. Other than that, I’m impressed.
I personally would like a sunroof.
Damn, Joe! I feel like you totally glossed right over that incredibly original looking key fob. You always zonk car companies for their boring and bland key fobs and then we get one that looks like alien designed tech and you threw it back in the cup holder like it was an afterthought! 🤣
I love the Karma’s design. It’s just that a lot of the inside is very poorly designed, and the engines are WELL known to blow up. One of the other things I hate about this model is the fact that they got rid of the mustache grill in the front because that was one of the things that made this car eye-catching. Though I can understand they did that, because it’s mostly electric.

Great review Joe. Email to Karma though: why not make this vehicle a pure EV? It is very unique in design and appearance and has some great features. However, there is no way that I personally could handle the drone of the 3 cylinder turbo charged extender/engine when in use. Would drive me completely nuts. Take out the BMW engine, put an electric motor up front and make space for a decent front trunk since the rear trunk is for all intends and purposes inadequate. For an as tested price of $109.000US or $136,200CDN...ditch the droning extender/engine, put an electric motor up front and created some space in the rear seat by removing the useless rear consul to save the rear passengers from feeling claustrophobic. This "car" in its various forms has been 'massaged' so many times now...that it should be in top form and function by now, but it's honestly not. Karma, I think that it's blank sheet of paper time. I'm sorry my comments are a bit of a downer, however, this car just has to be better after so many years of trial and error. JV.

Hey, I first saw the Karma Revero watching a show with Unique Concepts with Ice T and Coco. Unique wrapped a stock white Revero in red and put some sweet chrome wheels on it. Now I'm obsessed with this beautiful car. I do wish they had used a diesel engine for the re-gen.

The rear glass, that's called a cantilever, the 2004 Nissan Maxima had that too. I'm interested in the Fisker Ocean. Are you able to convince them to lend you one of those to test drive? You're also going to see the new KIA EV6 that'll do 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Tesla just tested a new battery pack from a Detroit company just recently that does 1200 kms on a single charge. That Karma GS-6 is beautiful. You will soon seen the new Vietnamese Electric car company called VinFast...

As soon as you mentioned "BMW" my stomach turned a little lol. Today, my 328i gave me the worst vehicle malfunction I've ever experienced. I smelt something and then white smoke started coming out from under my hood. The coolant light came on shortly after. I've felt sick all day =/
The Fisker Karma uses an Ecotec.
beautiful car but that center console going all the way to the back is enough for me to say no to it. Maybe the engineers at Karma can figure out how to eliminate that center division in the next version of the car. Nice review as always.

I like the idea of a gas engine to charge the battery! I think it's a must cause it will be one less car waiting forever at a charge station! And what about folks who live in an apartment with outdoor parking? You can't have just one charger and having one for each tenant would be expensive!

It's an interesting design...at $87k USD for the base trim!!! The Lucid Air Pure is a far superior full EV luxury sedan starting at $77k the Touring trim which is AWD is still less than the Karma shown in the review... I don't get it, who would throw their money away on the Karma?
Don't even bother, this vehicle has not been on sale for over a decade...
But the lucid is not attractive looking at all...this looks EXTREAMLY attractive...that's the big difference...looks matter to a lot of people.
If money were no object i would buy it and have it completely updated!

It's funny how you mentioned that C6/C7 Corvette. I've always considered this design as a next generation Buick Roadmaster.
this is a very good setup,that IC acts like a generator but i wished that that engine could be switched on only when the car is stationary to charge the battery and not running all the time cause this setup actually reduces the carbon emissions per/km or a mile significantly
than a hybrid engine.I don't know why other manufacturers come up with this setup,a diesel would be even more effecient in charging

Bodega bay blue, the name doesn’t make any sense, a ¨Bodega¨ is a warehouse, is a place to store things, so is a place to store stuff near the bay and is blue. That’s the only zonk for me about the car. Great review as always, thanks Joe.

Some constructive criticism here: you’re sounding a little too much like you’re trying to sell the car. You’re not being as unbiased as you should be, and not mentioning the negatives as forthcoming as some other reviewers. And it might just be me, but I felt like your test drive was trying to mimic Doug DeMuro (namely the smile/laugh at acceleration (which felt fake)). But, that set aside, I appreciate the review and opinion of the current vs the previous model. It felt the most sincere at 25 minutes and on.

I'm freaking out. the body design is SENSUAL. who invented those wheels? a massive A.I. computer? sleek badging. hand washing it is a fantasy come true, if I were to ever wash one. this or LUCID? engine bay bracing = yes. great attention to materials, fit & finish. good stuff guys
