Dear Fr. Josiah Trenham, Christ is risen Indeed! I am a traditional Roman Catholic and have listened to you over the years at Patristic Nectar. In reference to your most eloquent and perspicacious homily, "Despising the Dragon's Breath," yes the breath of this world is the effluvium of a basilisk. I would like to offer the following Latin phrase that exemplifies that which you have beautifully articulated: "Quos Deus vult perdere prius dementat" (Whom God wishes to destroy, he first makes mad). May God bless us in this broken world.
I came across an icon of "St. Michael of the Apocalypse" earlier today and then this dropped. I feel encouraged. No matter how bad it gets the Dragon and his kingdom of darkness will be defeated in the end.
Thank you Fr. Josiah for speaking the truth in your church. May all christians find a holy boldness to stand for Jesus & all that is holy & true. God bless you!!☦
Yes! Enjoyed and edified! Glory to God ☦️ I love in Liturgy service when the Chanters sing about the myrrh bearing women...and when the Angel tends to them with further instructions

THANK YOU. THANK YOU.
Glad to see the arena podcast on TH-cam.
Your title put me in mind of Gabriel Bunge's "Dragon's Wine and Angel's Bread: The Teaching of Evagrius Ponticus on Anger and Meekness"
