Whether they know it or not, I believe Fr. Mike, Bishop Barron, and other online spiritual leaders are playing a role in reuniting the Church (east/west, Protestant/Catholic). 🕊️

Protestant’s are NOT Christian my friend. Even his holiness Pope St Pius IX said protestant’s are NOT Christian. Only Jesus can found a Church NOT sinful men! This nonsense about so called Christian or church disunity is of Satan. There’s ONLY ONE CHURCH therefore protestant’s are NOT Christian. The holy Catholic Church IS Jesus Christ on earth his mystical body. When a person leaves the ONLY CHURCH THERE IS they are NO longer a Christian and have invalidated their baptism. The One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church teaches there’s NO salvation outside this Church so how can protestant’s be Christian. Question why do we have a nonsensical week of pray for so called Christian unity if protestant’s are Christian? Isn’t that a contradiction?
You hear a protestant say I became a Christian many year’s ago then converted to the Catholic Church to become a Christian can you see how silly that sounds! Please watch the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins. Then Don’t call protestant’s Christian. Then The Papacy can NOT be destroyed. Then Following Padre Pio. You have the Baptist cult,the Episcopalian cult,the Methodist cult,the Anglican cult,the Cult of England,and the Orthodox became CULTS when they broke with Rome in 1054AD. To call the Baptist cult a church is blasphemy same with the Orthodox who also reject the Filioque. God bless. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!!
But we always should remain Catholic as Christ said yo Peter on this Rock I set my church. Let’s pray for all to accept Jesus Christ as the ONE true and come to HIM through the most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. A non bloody sacrifice

Does Bishop Barron clearly state what Jesus and our Forefathers taught? He confuses me sometimes with his interpretations.
I'm a Protestant, but - Lord almighty, Jesus Christ, can this man preach! He'll be in my prayers. We need men like him - strong, courageous, and a love for Jesus Christ that just fills up the room; certainly filled up mine.

I love hearing Fr Mike speak, I can hear the emotion and conviction in his voice. Such vulnerability is really powerful. He's not an intellectual, nor trying to be cool, he's not rigid in traditionalism nor piety, He seems like a genuine person who has had a powerful encounter with the Lord and who loves the Lord very much.

You’ve carried me through COVID and now agoraphobia 🥺. You are such am enormous blessing for this Catholic that up to 3 yrs ago, had never missed a Sunday Mass in 68 yrs of life. Father Mike is awesome. He has such joy in the Lord I’m not able to go to daily mass because of transportation in Tennessee but I go to daily mass off TH-cam and I also participate in different things through Ewtn stations of the cross litany of the saints Angeles I’m able to pray the rosary, and I have grown more in my faith. I have a friend where I live. It’s a wonderful that I’ll be able to go to Ash Wednesday and I pray I’ll be able to get to confession where I live. It’s people 62 and older. It’s called Silvertree seniors of Chattanooga. God knows my heart and I try to stay very close to him and our lady. I love mother Marie so much God bless you.

Our faith needs to be more like Job. Praise God whether we have riches or poverty, praise God whether we have health or sickness. Praise Him because it is all a gift.

How shall the strong and weak trees be manifested unless the wind blows? Our quantity indeed will decrease, but our quality will increase. I have heard him give many lectures and homilies, and boy you can tell the Holy Spirit was guiding his speech this time around. It's one of those moments that makes you stop in awe, and even he would be surprised like "woah, this went incredibly well... I won't make it this good even if I get to repit the same talk again"
Hearing Fr. Mike speak opens my heart to knowing that there are absolutely amazing, Loving and powerful people still testifying on God’s behalf. Laughter and tears throughout this and I feel so full!
The joy, tenderness, and love of Father Mike makes God as my Father more real to me.

Listened to this while having breakfast and enjoyed it so much! Laughed a lot but had some sad moments too just like Father Schmitz. When I had to be suddenly operated on in January, instead of being fearful and angry, I thanked God for giving me a second chance at life. Yes, God loves me 100% and this is my joy.

Father Mike, I joy in the experience of listening to your presentations. Sometimes I cry, sometimes I laugh, I experience all the "normal" human emotions that the situations you present pull up out of me. And that is beautiful. I feel human in your "video" presence, because you have the capacity through your voice and actions to touch those experiences that unite vs divide us as children of the same Father. Jesus who you represent "in persona Christi" touches my heart and something inside of me always responds. He sees my sin and l responded in shame and anger and want to kill Him for exposing me, or I feel my guilt and ask for mercy and forgiveness, and are drawn to follow Him. In suffering and doubting I am comforted. I accept His love, my release from sin, and I joy and revel in my freedom and new life. Your homilies and presentations touch all those things because you, (His priests through ordination), through Sacraments- speak His words, absolve sin, feed body and soul, bring His grace, His presence to me in a human form I relate to and with. Perhaps poorly expressed, and certainly I have no theology classes to back me up...but all said as a Thank you for your ministry and commitment to bring me closer to Our Father. With gratitude and Thanksgiving. Amen

Mike even he talks fast 😊 am still getting what he meant to say relating what JOY because that is what God blessed me and knowing he sustained me such grace of joy because I bear witness of His presence and every time I pray, I pray with Joy. Indeed, joy is choice just like love is a commitment.

Fr. Mike, this podcast was like none other and I've listened to very many of yours. What an important distinction between happiness and Joy! I am sure to listen to it again and again to be reminded that our God is the source of joy. Happiness is fleeting at best. But joy in loving God and being loved by Him is eternal. Please continue to evangelize this way. For this cradle Catholic, you make a difference in my life and I am all the better for it.

This topic has been on my heart lately. I've been discouraged cause I just wasn't seeing the so called fruits of the Christian life in my life. I want so badly to help out with my family but I just feel like I make things worse. I get depressed. Act out.
I despair over God. Why haven't you made me better yet? I doubt His love. Why can't I feel it? I'm one of the Conditional Catholics.
Choose the reality.
Joy comes faith, a knowledge of His love for you.
What happens when we actually act like that?
Mallory is the kinda girl who makes you realize exactly that.
Please Don’t give up. Practice first e.g. prayer, rosary, sacraments esp Eucharist, read widely, I’ve learned a lot from Fr Mike and Bishop Barron on TH-cam. No harm to seek spiritual direction from a priest. Feelings come and go but we must practice the Way ❤️🙏
I'd suggest joyfully accepting God's will in everything, especially when you suffer and don't "feel" good, even when you don't see the apparent "fruits" of faith. I think that accepting God's will, or in surrendering to God in pleasure or in pain, success or failure, is the key to authentic peace and joy.
We've all felt this. Do not despair. Don't carry the world on your shoulders, that is His job. ☺️🙏❤️🙏

Unfortunately, a year later in March, she passed away. There is buried here on TH-cam somewhere the first mass he gave after his mother had passed away and a week later he’s fulfilling his obligations when he comes out, it will break your heart.

I received my diagnosis back in August of 2020.... at that time my daughter asked me to keep a journal and write down my love and live letter for her. Lol ..where do you begin in your nothingness.?
