I watched this video and bought one. First of all, you should know that you will encounter many mishaps that are not shown in the video. You can never balance with large lenses like (24-105). I can only balance with Canon rp +35mm (80%), which means that it will tire the engines more. No matter what you do, 100% balance is not possible. but it can still save the day by using it with 35mm.
Won’t properly balance my full frame canon r6 with any lens. It can work, but might be a lot of stress on the motors do you the abnormal centre of gravit
I see that you have it mounted, but where does the cable install for control on this setup? I use an X-T4 and the USB port is on the left side of the camera.
Mann, thanks so much for this video, I can fine tune my A7III vertical setup with Tamron 17-28mm f2.8 lens on a Feiyu Scorp F2! It's just that like some others said, it gives more stress for the motor if I tilt the gimbal vertically too much, luckily Scorp F2 give me sound alert when reaching the motor's maximum stress level.
@@e.kabir. on feiyu scorp f2, I finally add the official vertical plate. Much easier to balance. Also work with tamron 28-75 which I also happen to own.
@@TECHNOMEALS Yeah I have an A7IV and I have been trying to mount it on my Weebill S (still - I've commented before). Still attempting! I bought the bracket that you used ...from Amazon and it doesn't fit. I think it's my mounting plate. I'm going to source an original mounting plate from Zhiyun to see if that helps with the height. I'm also using a heavy lens (24-70mm) and balancing it at 50mm where the lens is sticking out... I might try my 20mm instead.
Having difficult balancing it with my Canon 80D and 50mm 1.8 lens. The weight keeps falling to the back. What could I do, please? I tried a sigma 17-50mm lens too but it doesn't give it enough clearance.

so far i have not been able to properly balance my A7III + Tamron 28-75; any advice?
need counter weight
@@TECHNOMEALS thanks! what do you think, based on your experience, 100 or 200g?
not sure about ...
is it front heavy or back
@@TECHNOMEALS kind of back; turns into the camera grip direction. tried balancing an old 50 1.4 with succesful results, tho.
so we need counter weight on front side

Which Canon camera are you using in the video?
I'm guessing 1300d?
