- Keep your mouth open wide, like you’re biting into an apple. If it makes you want to yawn, you’re doing it right.
- Keep your tongue at the bottom of your mouth. If it’s up, it constricts both your vocal cords and the sound.
- If you’re doing it right, you’ll feel your stomach muscles working.
- Don’t overdo it! It damages your voice. Know when to use mixed voice, and practice strengthening your head voice, for higher notes. If your throat hurts, something’s wrong.

This is song one of the best musical pieces to be written and performed on stage or on the screen. I love that this intimate piano version was created. Sometimes versions like this one are better to sing to, compared to having the full orchestra in the background, allows you to really give it your all, and be emotional.
