I wouldn't mind doing a combination of floor and stock to get a varied work experience. I just graduated and want to do something different than working at a restaurant. I want to get into selling and retail to improve selling my own products and maybe even get into loan processing and underwriting.
I also really like the brand, and I hope that studying these questions will help get me the job. I really want to finish my application, however, but the only thing the store has is my online application. I am going to have to go in and personally finish my application before my interview on paper.
I have a interview at Victoria's secret tomorrow and one thing I do to help me with interveiws is I go on glassdoor and see how other people's interveiws went and what questions they asked them so I have a idea of what they ask and try to find a way to answer them. Then I write down all the questions on a piece of paper and write down the answers.....and of course researching the company. Fingers crossed for tomorrow🤞
I got a call today from VS at my local mall and I am pretty shocked they called back because I put in my application that I have no job experience. I really hope it goes well and they really do give me a chance. I'll update on here if I got the job or not. Wish me luck!
I totally forgot to update... so the manager did not call me at all so obviously it means that I didn't get the job but it's whatever, it was expected that I didn't get the job since I didn't have any job experience. I did get a job at my mom's work so it's cool but still looking for seasonal or part-time to make extra money on the side, haha.

+Marina M i did get the job! and I passed both interviews for each position I applied for. and the interview was just as I expected. a lot of the questions were as she explained in this video above. one thing I noticed is that they did not try to intimidate me as she mentioned they did to her in this video. it was actually pretty easy
I worked at VS for like 6 months. It was the worst job that I had ever had. They were all very rude and snobby, they didn't care about their employees, if you didn't get enough bra fittings during your time on the floor you got yelled at. They recently started asking customers to tell the cashiers who helped them and your sales were tracked. I'm so glad I quit before them. I was paid like 10$ an hour and that was not worth it at all. It almost made me never want to shop at VS ever again. I did talk to other employees at other stores and they said mine was a little extreme (I worked at the Woodfield store in Illinois, a huge mall with tons of people) My manager was horrible, the employees were horrible, basically I wouldnt recommend working there AT ALL. I hope your experience was /will be better! Good luck!

I don't think I could work for them. This is due to the fact that they don't really care about plus-size women. In Wisconsin, if I do go to one and check it out it is rare that I see a plus-size woman in there. I would also love it they hired men as well.

vs is actually my first job(: i worked alongside at f21 for a bit, but eventually quit that. you'll do fine! their main thing is customer service, which should be your main expertise from being a hostess so you should be good, girl!! good luck xo
I am about to have an interview in a couple of days, you mentioned something about how in the beginning if you have work experience they take you back so since its a group of only 3 of us do you think they will keep us together whether we have work experience or not? The questions you listed seem to be obviously based off of someone with work experience because you had work experience will the questions change a bit if you don't have work experience?
I applied to my Victoria's Secret in the mall I work at yeah I only work at a movie theater currently times are tough so I am looking for a second job and i thought as a guy being a cashier or doing stock at Victoria's Secret would be great, even with a college degree that is the best I can do so I know the people who work at that particular store because I literally work a few stores away so working at a movie theater I do have a lot of experience with suggestive selling or being pushy. When I went in the store today which was 5 days after I turned in my application to ask about the status of my application the lady said she would have to get in touch with the other manager who received my job application, than she asked me if I was shopping for a girlfriend I told her I didn't have one, so she almost inquired about my orientation asking me that, it is almost like if you are a guy they prefer that you are gay so they know you are not working their to be a perv just my observation...

+Teresa Lauren Wow I had no idea they were doing online applications now. I would wait a week, and you could walk in and ask for the hiring manager (they're usually there in the morning). That way it looks like you're really interested and took the initiative to go there.

I've seen girls with red hair. But I used to work at B&BW which is a sister company to VS and they didn't want employees having unnatural hair color. If you really want the job, change your hair color. I gave myself "natural" hair color, and once I got hired I asked what the rules were on hair, so I hope this helps for you!

If you don't have work experience, answer the questions based off on certain situations in life like school or volunteer work or sport activities.
