As a heart and vascular nurse, it’s always great to learn more, for when I can educate my patients on their stent/balloon locations and how those interventions help their lives going forward.
It took me quite a while to realise the LCX wrap around the wrong side and I was so confused when I read the textbook or watched other videos. 😂 I hope the mistake was addressed somewhere in the video or caption so people can aware of that 😮
@@ICUAdvantagethis video needs to be corrected. It's a video solely on the anatomy and the anatomy is completely wrong and bad for people who don't see it
The Left circumflex Artery/ branch is shown on the right side of the posterior diagram of the heart which should be on the left side instead. you can review the video at 07:35-47.
I’m a senior nursing student currently in my internship on PCU. My preceptor is a CVICU nurse on an internal contract to PCU, so we get floated to the cardiovascular unit nearly every other shift. After many hours of reviewing cath lab film, I still have such a hard time deciphering what is what. Everyone’s anatomy is so different! The 2d imaging throws me for a loop. Can’t tell what is anterior/posterior half the time. It’s a learning curve for sure! Thanks for the video and all the other ones. Critical care is so interesting
Thank you for making this video. You have put in a lot of effort. Viewers catching the left -> right blooper (7:40) is proof that the viewers are finding your instructions covering a complex topic quite easy to follow. Keep up the good work. 🙏 (Please try to upload a corrected version, if possible)
I had a pt get a CABG to their ramus the other day. They got that and a cox maze procedure. I was super excited to learn about their extra coronary artery.
Kris from Singapore here. Just Signed up for your academy! Started out in the CCU a year ago and your videos helped me so much! Can't wait to learn more from you!
Yup totally flipped. Was originally going to do just anterior view of heart and show posterior vessels on the same anteior view, but then decided to go with the 2 views and didn't flip in my mind. 🤦🏻♂
your left and right on the posterior drawing should be viewed as left on the left side and right on the right side as opposed to the anterior view. Otherwise, very educational👍👍

Shouldn’t the LCX at eight minutes wrap around the other side of the heart on the posterior view?
A boy, yup! I have the whole posterior side flipped as if it was looking through from anterior 🤦🏻♂️
Lol. Honest mistake.
Could you upload again after you correct it?

Nice! I feel like I come across is somewhat regularly. Always boggles my mind how unique or bodies can be.

Awesome Kris! Happy to know the videos have been helpful in your new role and look forward to seeing you in there!
My gosh you are a great artist. I can't draw a heart to save my life. When I try, my students laugh their heads off.
Lol well I don’t freehand the drawings! At least the good ones haha
Thanks for simplified explaination of Coronary circulation 😊
Shine bright like a diamond❤thanks
I believe you did the posterior view of the heart opposite of what it should be
Yup totally flipped. Was originally going to do just anterior view of heart and show posterior vessels on the same anteior view, but then decided to go with the 2 views and didn't flip in my mind. 🤦🏻♂
The best way of teaching sir love you so much from Pakistan, sir please share with us the notes of each lectures thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! I reserve the notes for TH-cam and Patreon members, as well as the new Academy membership.
Thanks eddie you’re an angel 🙂
left and right side is inverted, in the back scheme of the heart
Yep, when the left circ wrapped around, it was drawn on the posterior right
Fantastic, as ever. Many thanks UK
Thanks Roland!

Yes I flipped it
Fantastic video
Thank you!
You're welcome!
The left circ is drawn on the incorrect side on the posterior view
Great review thanks!!
Glad it was helpful!

Minute 7: LCX on posterior view has to be on the other side of the image.
while minute 10-11 RCA continuation to AV on the opposite side of the posterior image.
The posterior image of the heart has to be revised.
From where sir you are thank you sir

Thanks boss
No problem!
Great video but your posterior view is reversed. Thanks for all you do!
