Im about to finish nursing school Monday. I plan to binge your videos this year before I start work. Got offered a night shift ICU position as a new grad and your videos have been a life saver.
Right on! Congrats on being just about done and the ICU gig. Definitely a lot of stuff here for you but also don’t over do it and make your brain mush. Glad the vids have been helpful!
I started in my ICU as a new grad two years ago and I STILL use his videos to brush up on concepts I’m not familiar with or just plain forgot! I just took the IAPB class and watching Eddie’s videos before helped so much! I tell all my new grads to dive in to his channel!!
I'm an electronics engineer studying the heart for personal interests...and I must say, the design of heart is fascinating! Its incredible to see similarities with how we propagate the clock / gnd to the different parts of a semiconductor chip. Loved this video and your explanation.
Eddy, your channel is awesome. I recently received surgical step down training and I’ve been watching your videos on a regular basis to help me with my confidence and knowledge while looking after these sicker patients. They make such a difference! Thank you.
Eddy, thanks for the uploading amazing learning contents. I have recently started in ICU and have found your videos extremely useful. Keep doing what you do. Kind regards fellow RN.
I was trying to understand the ECS by just reading from my A&P book, but your video just made everything clear. I really appreciate your awesome content; it helped me a lot to understand more about the heart.
Glad you are enjoying the videos Eunice. As for your question, remember when I was talking about the leak into the cell in Phase 4 of the action potential? Its this slow rise of polarity that eventually crosses the threshold and triggers a new action potential. This is what controls that. This is the quickest in the SA node, but almost all the myocytes do the same thing just slower and slower the more distal we go.
Ugh, that intro music too loud, too annoying and too 2003 techno. Does not match the content. I literary wait just to skip it. Sounds like heart beat, or low monitor sound or literary anything else would be better

Hi do you know how magnesium plays a role in the cycles?
Thank you so much for this channel. I am learning a lot. I have a question, how or what makes the SA node start/spark?
