That's a good point! I'm not sure but I notice there are a lot of delivery drivers supercharging here. It's also summertime so the island is packed with tourists, most of them renting out Teslas. So they could be hogging up the superchargers too? I'll ask next time.
@@TeslaOutage Thanks for the heads-up. I bought a Tesla a year ago here in NY, so I would obviously rent one when traveling. I won't though the next time I visit Hawaii.
Eek. Two years and never supercharged. I just do it in garage for 0.04kwh. For the wait time, what do you expect? You are in one of the most corrupt places in the country. Just be glad they dont burn it down.
Indeed we have cheap power. Cheap enough that solar isnt an option. All thanks to President Roosevelt for the Public Utility Districts. Things are always better when the people own them. I still spend 300 a month on power though, and that stops me from using even more. I suppose it's never enough, lol.
Are there a lot of Uber/Lyft drivers with Teslas going to that charger? Or is it that most folks rent apartments so no ability to charge at home?

@@falsedragon33 Wow, that’s a crazy low rate! I try to minimize supercharging to just once a month because of this 😎
