I don't know why but whenever I see an Indian product doing well, it makes me immensely proud that its from our land. There is just a sort of connection between us that refuses to go away, something that emanates love and a emotional bond. This is one of the best airline review videos I have watched ever. Kudos to Air India for such a massive and spectacular turnaround. Love from Karachi, Pakistan.
Nice words, thanks a lot! I do trust the same progress will reach there too. The potential is there. Middle Eastern carriers fly there a dozen times a day. Have a nice one!
I completed a BLR-DEL flight yesterday in the AI a350 premium economy. Must say Air India have truly upped their game. I only wish they continue to do the same and not degrade their planes like their older ones. Truly loving the new Air India rn
@@Wanboy I flew on the Qatar Airways A350-900 from Atlanta to Doha, The flight was fully booked but it was fine, The IFE was awesome, and the legroom plenty for me. However, the food was very bad for some reason even though I have had a good culinary experience with QR. Other than that my only complaint was the window placement, It was towards the beginning of the seat ahead of me so I had to lean forward to look out (and I had specifically booked a window seat). Anyway, the second flight was excellent, also an A350-900 from Doha to Amman. This flight was only half booked and I had all 3 seats next to the window to myself. The breakfast was good and I got some tea. Bathrooms were clean because no one really used them. But the best part for me was that this was a dawn flight so the whole cabin became increasingly orange (It was pretty stunning actually) that paired with the desert in the early morning was enough to make it a five star flight for me personally. So in the end my first flight might be a 3.75 star flight but my second a well deserved 5 and a good experience overall.
Such a positive review about AIR INDIA and that's the truth to talk about. Few other TH-camrs give negative feedback about this airline. It's still in transition mode after TATA took over Air India. It will be widely used airlines going forward and will become favorite for air travelers soon. Hats off to you for this video.🎉
I am telling everyone, one day Air India will be the most luxurious airline just like the 70s and 80s. A lot of trust on Tata. Also loved to see my home airport after so long here
This was so good, What a stunning aircraft yet equally a stunning product, fantastic review and the business looks so nice and what an improvement. Nice to see Air India back to where it should be. I bet the food is super yummy, great stuff 👍😊✈️
Hey Paul! Lovely seeing you around! Stunning product indeed. I hope the aircraft is kept well and the service remains good. Still lots of improvement left for the rest of the fleet but it’s a good start.
Wow Alex! Watched this video after a gap. Loved it, as usual. Good to see you cover the upcoming flagship aviation brand of the world. Good luck to you!!
My god first of all thanks for making this awesome video. Showing what AI is doing with the new changes is beyond amazing, loved every part of this video and happy that you liked this new setup. Also the Lounge was very nice to see. I will try it myself next time at IGI T3. Instant new sub and happy to see more new content on AI and it`s routes to like Amsterdam (My home) and London.

Great video. Saw multiple A350 review of Air India. Most of them were very skeptical and unnecessary finding faults. As a user of the product and service, I wanted to suggest few changes in the product line- 1. No merger of Vistara and Air India. Let both run. Make Vistara a luxury first class product line with introduction of Cabin/Coupe like ANA on Vistara. 2. Change the placement of control buttons as it gets touched mistakenly many times 3. Need handrest on these seats. Its very hard were to keep your hands 4. The table needs to be more sturdy as it shakes quite a lot even in normal winds. I couldn't imagine what would happen if during meal service the plane experiences turbulance 5. Lounge- Lounges in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, etc of Air India needs a major overhaul. They are kind of old and retrofitted
wow Bro! loving every moment of it.....hope AI continues the legacy of the maharaja with this new turnover.....enjoying your content here to the details...thanks...keep soaring high...cheers....
Wow, the service looks great, they’ve completely turned around that company, I expect them to start competing with the Middle Eastern airlines very soon with that type of service.
it’s all perfect except for the security and customs at the airport. That’s just plainly a mess and takes long. Not efficient to transfer there. Once they fix all that they can take my money anytime 😂 I’m sure many others would do the same.
WOW ... AI has certainly improved. The lounge was amazing, hope the new AI lounge is just as gorgeous, the food looked amazing. The aircraft cabin was amazing, compared to their older product, the crew looked wonderful and the food ... a huge step-up from what I've seen elsewhere on YT. I can see why you were really impressed ... shame they didn't have a blanket handy ... the Mrs might like a new AI throw rug ... 😂😂😂 Hasta la próxima 🥂🥃🍸🍻
Hey Dean! I’m only annoyed about how hard it is to travel to/from India, bureaucrats and all that.. But besides that it’s just world class and I would consider it a perfect alternative to the Middle Eastern airlines. I wouldn’t mind detouring via India to the US instead of stopping over in Europe. Anyway, cheers buddy, see you around! 🥂
Welp, Air India is really improving now! Who knew that one day they would change for the better? Happy to see you having a good time and the airlines also making a comeback, I can finally switch to Air India from middle eastern carriers for my flights from USA to India.
Well done video! I had the opportunity to fly the inaugural flight. The 2 concerns I see are - 1. The Tray Table slides down from under the Screen, thus the table could be quite wobbly during even if light turbulence is felt. and 2. Lack of arm rests made my arms just sit on my lap *face palm*. Other than that, an excellent product! Amazing food service - obviously it's TAJSATs after all! (My arm didnt keep touching the control panel so I have no complains like the rest on that front) Thanks for your review! Was amazingly edited and comprehensive including the lounge! I'm waiting for the new AI Lounge to come up! Cheers mate!
I was eagerly waiting for the Delhi-Dubai trip report on Air India’s A350 Alex and it was totally worth the wait. Enjoyed every second of this trip report. Thanks for an amazing Air India trip report Alex😁
Going to watch another masterpiece. Thank you for uploading. Always love your reports. I'm also travelling on air india to middle east. The only difference is that the flight is on the old 787.
Great report! Air India A350 was very amazing. They're truly sleeping giant that will be awake soon. 180° different if this report compared to your last Garuda trip report 😢

Bro you're the best aviation vlogger in the world. Thank you for making this new modern looking Air India A350 to dubai from Delhi. I like it. How was your stay in New Delhi. Did you like air india A350. ❤😊
Fantastic video! The A350 experience is great but unfortunately this represents only 6 aircraft out of Air India's vast fleet. One thing I did not like in the transformation is the lack of IFE screens in their new narrowbody jets. It really does matter as they are flying them on routes of up to 5 hours in length. However, IndiGo is also gearing up to compete with Air India as they are introducing Business Class, adding a frequent flyer program, ordering A350s etc. What are we getting for the next video, by the way?
Hey Alex bro I’m ur old subscriber it has been so many months since I have seen ur video the video is excellent ur caption explaining the details everything is excellent I thoroughly enjoyed ur video bro .❤
1:48, Same when I am departing Tel Aviv to Athens on Wizzair, Airbus A321 last June and transiting in Mumbai from Indigo/Turkish airlines, Boeing 777-300ER from Istanbul and Indigo, Airbus A320neo to Singapore via Mumbai, security is long in Tel Aviv and security is very strict in Mumbai and not even it's crowded at 6am, they have to take out almost everything and take a few break (just like Cairo, it's the most chaotic airport) that take half an hour 45 minutes, not good, but I made my connecting flight to Singapore with a layover of 3 hours (in the airside for 2 hours and 15 minutes after very strict security while transiting in Mumbai at 6am).
@@TheLayoverAviationbut AI need to step up their peripherals and amenities game up. Especially those headphones, didn’t looked super good sounding ones.
What a contrast to the FlipFlop traveller's review who kept complaining about missing hand rests, vibrating tray tables and uninspiring food on the AI A350. And data theft in the video before. Really don't know what to make of these reviews unless I try out myself!
My table was very shaky at one point, but the turbulence was quite bad 🤣 And yes, you’ve got to try it out yourself. TH-cam reviews are highly inaccurate, some get paid for reviews, and others get more views for complaining. It’s very few that just show things as they are. Not even I like to share it all. Some things on bad days can get crew in trouble or even fired. That’s someones job you rob for a video. Josh Cahill got that done. Can’t wait to have a chat with him when we cross paths..
@@TheLayoverAviation And not to mention Noel! He's always complaining about the smallest of things. So annoying. Meanwhile Cahill and Sam Chui are constantly firing shots at each other. Maybe we need a Jeremy Clarkson for airline reviews...that would make it entertaining atleast! 😄
Finally, someone mentioned FlipFlop Traveller's way of reporting. After looking at his Garuda trip report, I was quite put off. The focus was primarily on a scandal unrelated to the trip report, which became the basis for the rest of the review. This trend seems to appear in most of his videos. Layover Aviation, on the other hand, is very to the point, sticking to visuals of the flight itself with minimal narration, and is such a pleasure to watch! I enjoy his use of subtitles and visuals only, as it allows us to see for ourselves. When it comes to the actual experience, we will never know until we personally go and try it out ourselves. I don't like Josh Cahill or Noel changing their tune with every single flight they take - most of which is negative.
Hey Alex, it is soo great to see the bounce back of AI. It is honestly a splendid effort so far by Tata to transform the airline into the greatest in the skies. Man, after coming off from that Flipflop traveler video, this felt like a breath of fresh air. Pure transparency, no bias, just purely a reviewer who is documenting his experiences. Huge thumbs up and a sub. Just wondering what the BGM at 4:45 is. That piano is soothing as hell.
I just met an ex Air India cabin crew yesterday, had a coffee with her. She’s now in Emirates. She told me that she does not have faith at all in the A350’s being maintained better than the previous planes. Made me a bit sad to hear. But other than that, yeah no bias from my side. I would consider myself an hospitality and airline expert, by profession, and Air India is pretty damn good. Whatever other say is their opinion or experience on that day. TH-cam only generates views by either collaborating with airlines or criticizing them. I sadly can’t do either 🤣
@@TheLayoverAviation I seriously hope and pray that the airline will continue to upkeep and regularly maintain the cabins and not let them rot away like with the existing Dreamliners and 777s. But that FA's opinion is not coming from nowhere. Even after 2 years under private operation, the majority of AI flights remain the same as they were pre-privatisation (broken seats, dirty toilets, inedible food). The 350s are more like a marketing gimmick for AI at the moment, and not the norm that you will experience. But again, AI has been the benchmark for many of the existing world-class airlines. In fact, SIA took inspiration from AI back in the 70s and look at how far it has come, creating all-new experiences in all classes and some of the best crew in the world. Regardless of the negativity and controversy, I still believe AI can bounce back to former glory in the greatest rags to riches story ever written. Thanks for the comment Alex.
I doubt they will ever overtake emirates. In fact, emirates was so dominant that the government limited their flights to avoid air India and other Indian carriers from facing losses.
@@SFAvgeek No need to overtake Emirates or any other airlines, improving services is the matter. For premium services Emirates is best but their economy services are worst TBH. All countries have their own Mutual agreement for air services, it’s pretty common.
@@SFAvgeek it’s not about the seat about Service, I used to travel long 6 years regularly in Emirates economy, out of two recent bad experience I shifted to Ethihad and thereby I found the difference, also Emirates cabin crew carry lot of work pressure.
Absolutely stunning video buddy! 😊 As always! I hope Air India will open a brand new chapter... I'm curious how Air India will look in 5 years! After 1 year I will do some interesting trip, I will fly 5 flights and fly through 4 countries in 1 day I will be trying out SAS A320neo.. the video will take a while to make on TH-cam but on my Instagram it will be faster😅 Thanks for the upload mate! See you!😊
Thanks Maurice, I do hope you get to try them as an avgeek yourself! Your trip sounds very interesting. I saw on a recent video that SAS pilots allow avgeeks in the cockpit. Who knows?! Looking forward to see it. See you around buddy!
Yeah, that’s the risk of these video’s. It’s so much nicer if they’re just background humming, I have that at Etihad. I just don’t notice it. But loud music, colors and dancing you can’t unsee or hear😂
I’ll give kudos to Tata for making the investment and getting good management. Air India has made huge strides since it went private. It’s really great to see Air India A350 product offering being top notch along with the lounge at Delhi.
Fantastic Trip! Would be a great video if you visited kerala (gods own country) which is in india. Their airport is fully power by solar and even gotten a award from the United Nations.
India still finds it difficult to reclaim its glory especially with its national carrier. Listen t the voice and diction of thee stewardd. I mean what can one say?
I know it takes a while to get used to it.. It’s been many years with the old logo. I haded the new Iberia or American Airlines ones, but since then I got used to it. I do like the new Air India one, the past one many don’t associate with luxury any longer..
Sir thanks for the video! VT-JRH was superb! I recently purchased the VT -JRH new Air India A350 model from Singapore. I was happy to see that you were giving nice comments on our national airline! I'm glad to have flown Air India's a350 over 5 times. 3x on VT-JRA (including the first flight BLR-BOM) and 1x each on VT-JRI and VT-JRF. Can't wait to try their Premium Economy. Business and Economy were amazing, even better than the flight i had on emirates 777-200LR last year.
It’s nicer than the B777-200LR! I loved this. Well done on so many flights on this plane! I guess that with so many on order it will be the new normal. Soon it will stop amazing us 😞
That food looked amazing! I want to fly with them just for the food 😂!!! I really like the idea of getting a gift for the flight crew. Nice gesture, they work really hard.
The food was the best, specially in the lounge.. They do work very hard. So on this trip, they were incredible to me all the way to Dubai, but then they also had to fly back and do the same. So yes, a bit of sugar and love is good 😎

Bro you're the best aviation vlogger in the world. Thank you for making this new modern looking Air India A350 to dubai from Delhi. I like it. How was your stay in New Delhi. Did you like air india A350. ❤😊
But me I like air india A350 ❤😊🛩
Super kind words! The competition is hard though, but thanks!!
Delhi is always nice! I come quite often. Air India A350 was great!
@@TheLayoverAviation Thank you for your reply.you are the worlds best vlogger of TH-cam. 👌🇪🇸😊
Well documented video, thanks & Namaste.
This was a great video
very glad you liked it, Mike!
Hey Alex bro I’m ur old subscriber it has been so many months since I have seen ur video the video is excellent ur caption explaining the details everything is excellent I thoroughly enjoyed ur video bro .❤
Thanks for returning! Very glad you liked this one. Hope to see you around again soon! 😉
1:48, Same when I am departing Tel Aviv to Athens on Wizzair, Airbus A321 last June and transiting in Mumbai from Indigo/Turkish airlines, Boeing 777-300ER from Istanbul and Indigo, Airbus A320neo to Singapore via Mumbai, security is long in Tel Aviv and security is very strict in Mumbai and not even it's crowded at 6am, they have to take out almost everything and take a few break (just like Cairo, it's the most chaotic airport) that take half an hour 45 minutes, not good, but I made my connecting flight to Singapore with a layover of 3 hours (in the airside for 2 hours and 15 minutes after very strict security while transiting in Mumbai at 6am).
better with the old music:) nice vid mate
Yeah, it’s a little struggle with the rights but worth it, I guess 😃
Air India A350 very nice plane airliner nice trip Delhi to Dubai.
Damn, that lounge was nice AF
super good food 🤤
@@TheLayoverAviationbut AI need to step up their peripherals and amenities game up. Especially those headphones, didn’t looked super good sounding ones.
Outward appearances are deceptive my friend
Air India will soon become no. 1 airlines with Tatas taking it back to their helms !
Another five star coverage
Thank you Pritam!
AUH to COK on Air Arabia is worth it, gonna try it? I live in Abu Dhabi and travel that route often so I'd say its worth it 😉
Air india will reach at the top under tata leadership i always feel proud as a Indian ❤❤
So glad to see how all Indians share the same opinion!
What a contrast to the FlipFlop traveller's review who kept complaining about missing hand rests, vibrating tray tables and uninspiring food on the AI A350. And data theft in the video before. Really don't know what to make of these reviews unless I try out myself!
My table was very shaky at one point, but the turbulence was quite bad 🤣
And yes, you’ve got to try it out yourself.
Nice i hope you enjoy our indian national airline😊❤
My favourite youtuber 😊🎉
thanks a lot have a nice flight
You too, thanks!
They are improving quite fast, changing Emirates to Air India.
But Emirates is also changing at a quick pace. Let’s see how their A350’s will be on the flight to BOM!
@ emirates economy is the worst? Imo it’s one of the best.
@@SFAvgeek it’s not about the seat about Service, I used to travel long 6 years regularly in Emirates economy, out of two recent bad experience I shifted to Ethihad and thereby I found the difference, also Emirates cabin crew carry lot of work pressure.
impressive air india
Adeel Khan from Pakistan
still old aircrafts are there to sucks...
Absolutely stunning video buddy! 😊 As always!
I hope Air India will open a brand new chapter... I'm curious how Air India will look in 5 years!
After 1 year I will do some interesting trip, I will fly 5 flights and fly through 4 countries in 1 day
I will be trying out SAS A320neo.. the video will take a while to make on TH-cam but on my Instagram it will be faster😅
Thanks for the upload mate! See you!😊
Thanks Maurice, I do hope you get to try them as an avgeek yourself!
Your trip sounds very interesting.
I saw on a recent video that SAS pilots allow avgeeks in the cockpit. Who knows?!
Looking forward to see it. See you around buddy!
😮😮😮 Ok banget video nya
You are the best youtuber in the world!!! Will you fly vistara for the last time before it merges with Air India??
That is so sweet to say of you, thanks! And yes, I hope to fly the Vistara B787 from Bali.. It’s on my radar..
Hello mate, Thanks for flying air India!, By the way have you tried Vistara you should try out their 787
It’s the plan to fly it to Bali soon!
Nice!
I totally hear you about the safety video. Flew DXB-BOM recently. They played that longass video twice! It’s beautiful but it gets tiring! 😅
Yeah, that’s the risk of these video’s. It’s so much nicer if they’re just background humming, I have that at Etihad. I just don’t notice it. But loud music, colors and dancing you can’t unsee or hear😂
Now that's how to travel.
Indeed 😎
I’ll give kudos to Tata for making the investment and getting good management. Air India has made huge strides since it went private. It’s really great to see Air India A350 product offering being top notch along with the lounge at Delhi.
Thank you for such a great review
Fantastic Trip!
Would be a great video if you visited kerala (gods own country) which is in india. Their airport is fully power by solar and even gotten a award from the United Nations.
Don’t worry, I will!! Perhaps soon, I’m planning a trip there in September, but nothing sure yet.
India still finds it difficult to reclaim its glory especially with its national carrier. Listen t the voice and diction of thee stewardd. I mean what can one say?
I hope Air India revamp all their planes to this standard
Me too!
AI is soon connecting to NYC n London with its new A350s possibly a video on tht in the future😊absolutely loving these

Also no offense but am I the only one who doesn’t like the new air India logo. I preferred the old one 😅
yes missing the Zharokha designs and the old AI service.......
Nam wala idea jogiji ka tha😂😂
I know it takes a while to get used to it.. It’s been many years with the old logo.
I haded the new Iberia or American Airlines ones, but since then I got used to it.
I do like the new Air India one, the past one many don’t associate with luxury any longer..
Old one was old dated and not modern at all
@@Justin_Why I still don’t like new one
Sir thanks for the video! VT-JRH was superb! I recently purchased the VT -JRH new Air India A350 model from Singapore. I was happy to see that you were giving nice comments on our national airline!
I am your ten year old fan from India (Pune)
Jai Hind Jai Bharat!!
Can you please make a video of New livery Air India A320 ?
Hey! I really like your videos❤❤Your videos give me a strong vibe of traveling. I live in San Francisco currently. Could you please make a video of virgin Atlantic upper class?
Very nice flight, but i miss your old intro...... Bookt a new trip in november to Gran Canaria.😊
I miss the intro too, kind of nostalgic, but they’re really copyrighting complaining me each week with that song, even when it’s not theirs.
How do you get so much holidays?!
@@TheLayoverAviation we have 25 days payd holidays, so far this summer i only hade 5 days of. Like to go to warmer countrys wen The weather here gets cold and wet.
Soon it will stop amazing us 😞
I Love Air India
The 350 is great!
The passing of Arthur Morgan continues to evoke a profound sense of sorrow within me.
They almost ruined the game to me back then!
I told another vlog that you supply attendants with chocolates. I think it is great. Great report.
Almost always I bring, even on this flight too. I think I brought them some Japanese sweets here..
How come your missed your Air India A350 flight twice?
That food looked amazing! I want to fly with them just for the food 😂!!! I really like the idea of getting a gift for the flight crew. Nice gesture, they work really hard.
The food was the best, specially in the lounge..
They do work very hard. So on this trip, they were incredible to me all the way to Dubai, but then they also had to fly back and do the same.
So yes, a bit of sugar and love is good 😎
