Most stores that I've been to will allow you to opt in to buying the pack and them just adding a new one to the pool if there is that much value in it. Happened A LOT with the God Packs in Theros and Masterpieces in Kaladesh Block.

pulled a cavern of souls on 2nd pack at the draft tonight, instantly got my entry fee back, then finished 7th with a rgb tempo. still feels good man. Broodmagic dragon was so incredibly strong I wanted to pull my teeth out when my first matchup rekt me twice for a shutout with the same card

SHADOWCLOUD exactly. 2 boxes here and only 1 fetch. Mythics were Rev, voice, hoof, G-brand, entreat, and past in flames. Only strong rares were the tarn, blood moon. Foil rares were call of the herd, that naya burn Spell and obzedat. I can't make this stuff up.
arich97 I've seen the same thing on other channels as well. one box will be 1 or 2 dollar mythics with no fetches. Then the second box's value is like 50 - 100 dollars over MSRP. Crazy.

Pulled 5 fetches from the box I just cracked (one foil), Liliana, Cavern, and Goblin Guide. Only one Path and one Inquisition as well.
It is very clear to me after watching some box openings over the last two days that WOTC didn't 'randomize' the packs well enough. This box looks like a completely different set being opened compared to the 0/4 and 0/5 fetch boxes Rudy opened already.
great stuff, I like how you open the packs and take your time to apreciate (almost) each card, your love for these art pieces really shows and thats´s something you can´t say about most of youtube MTG channels. now I´m CRAVING for openning some packs myself! even though I stopped playing MTG like 12 years ago!

I'm out of town but you know I had to go and check out MM3 before I came back, and I just picked up 2 packs from a place here in Charlotte and pulled Scalding Tarn and Misty Rainforest from them.
I opened 2 boxes today, one had a misty rainforest, liliana of the veil, arid mesa, a blood moon, griselbrand, voice of resurgence, death's shadow, craterhoof, and several rares around $5. the next box the most expensive card was a scavenging ooze. Biggest emotional rollercoaster of my life.
Such volatility in these boxes! LOL, bought 2 boxes with my buddy today; his box was CAPITAL HOSETOWN-best pull:Foil goblin guide, seriously.
My box: snapcaster,voice of resurgence,bloodmoon, arid mesa, catacomb of souls, verdant catacomb, griselbrand, venser and a foil verdant catacomb... I felt truly elated/saddened that my box was AMAZING to my buddies box, climax for days:)

It's good to see a bad box opening now and then...put's things in perspective instead of the blur of constantly watching winning boxes. Kaladash had printing issues too that caused faded looking cards, and sometimes appearing smudged.

Hey Rudy, the first box you opened in this video is almost identical to what i got. Sphinx, domri, cavern, extractor, mind shatter, sever, goblin guide, basilisk collar, desecration demon, grafdigger's cage, death's shadow, simic sky swallower, damnation, call of the herd... main difference is i got a misty, foil death's shadow and foil spell pierce... while you were opening the packs it felt like deja vu :)

I just opened my first box of Modern Masters 2017. It wasn't quite this good but I did get: 1-Damnation, 1-Foil Damnation, 1-Tarmogoyf, 1-Scalding Tarn, 1-Verdant Catacombs, 1-Misty Rainforest, 1-Goblin Guide. My problem was I was too dumb to quit while I was ahead and opened another box which aside from another Damnation and a Cavern of Souls was pretty much all crap!

I know nothing about magic, but goddamn this is entertaining.
I'm in Davis, Ca and I noticed some packs' cards appear to have inking issues where the colors appear washed out. I have some extreme examples and it's easy to see when compared side to side with the same card from the set opened from other packs.
Both of the boxes I opened seemed to look a little washed out. It's not only you rudez.

Last pack, goblin guide and FOIL LILIANA OF THE VEIL!!! But still no fetches. When you get a foil lili and don't break even, it's a bad box overall.
