Gunman I gotta say you’ve inspired so many more painters to come on here. Have you seen the hundreds that are on here? meanwhile you may have been the 12th guy. Nobody did it like you. When the world looks back at this your vids will be the highlight.
For industrial use the 3300 is spot on . I have painted many railway locomotives and carriages with one . Has a nice big fan and handles the heavier paint no problem.
They look nice guns and seem more streamlined compared to the old one this has some of the edges smoothed out, you can't deny that they lay the clear down nice but I bet they cost more than the previous model, I always regret not getting a 4600 Extreme before they were bought out by Elcometer as afterwards the prices rocketed here🤦♂👌👍John UK
Your correct that there is a wash of guns out there now I think they all pretty much spray the same and will achieve the same result, the only exception I’ve found is with iwata guns and how fine they atomise they do make anyone look good
Another great video. I was going to buy one of these guns to add to my collection but I will hold off now. I thought these were better than they are. But I’ve DV1’s and Series 2 Iwata and Sata guns already so maybe I need to stop collecting lol.
great review, I was going back and forth between this gun and the DV1 clear gun with the C2 cap. I went with the DV1 because we don't have a Sagola rep in south Florida to let me demo one. on the subject of gun cleaners, any recommendations on a good one here in the states? tried a few but all suck. miss the old naked gun 5 gallon bucket. the reformulated version doesn't do the job.
I might get one. What's your thoughts on caps/setup for old school muscle car metallics and clear. Who do you recommend we purchase through? I am a prolite veteran.
I'm about to trial one other air cap the DVR Clear Pro, which is the evolution of the DVR Titania, that was always my favourite, and I recommend 1.2XL. Sprayguns Direct are always hard to beat for service and price.
@@mikewormsman they do say it's best suited for water base, but it definitely will work for solvent or even clear. But the Titania pro definitely is going to produce a smoother clear finish
Gunman which is a good Regulator Air Gauge as i have troubles finding a good one they always seem to leak for some reason one that can work for all guns.
Does anybody have a clear understanding of all the different nozzles on this new gun. I really would like to get one and make it my clear coat only gun but I'm a little confused about all the option with or without the XL and so on and so forth . thank you 👍👍
Hey gunman ….for home resto project I’m looking at either Flg 0r f160 what’s the most compressor consumption friendly I have a 70 litre 3hp compressor. Plus it’s a mini I’m restoring so not the biggest panel areas! Cheers.
I've been using the 4600 1.3xl for about 7 years now, so I can't say how it compares to this newer version, but it will lay everything on you mentioned no worries. It's pricey for a DIY but it's kinda the entry level for a professional level gun to be honest. Full fan, fluid needle 2 turns out, 2 Bar pressure and you'll be laying it down no issues.
Get a gun use it for base and clear then get a separate gun for your primers primers build up and tend to leave chunks of material in the gun that can come out into your base or clear and ruin your job get a cheap 50 primer gun then spend around 300-500 for a base clear gun in a 1.3 you can turn the fluid down if it’s a thinner material
Another great video gunny the finishes are flawless as always. Could you answer a question for me pleas? I have a flg5 I’m spraying base coat with it is the paint supposed to come thru the horns on the air cap too or is it just the . nozzle? Thanks mate have a good day
Most primer guns should work fine, have a look at the ANi F160, but because you're spraying upside down I highly recommend using the PPS pots, they allow you to turn the gun upside down then when you pull the trigger it will suck all the air out, then it will continue to spray when it's upside down.
Still using the develbiss gti pro 10 years and still going strong no need for all these new fancy spray guns

Yes gunny cracking job and cracking sagola 4600 there come in digital version in PSI AND BAR😊

Ani Black HPs the best 👍
you are spot on with these good bang for buck but for me the narrow fan is the deal breaker for me
The clear pro cap is not narrow. He is using the dvr clear cap

How does the 4600 compare to the 4600 extreme? I didn't realize they came out with a new gun. I thought the 4600 extreme was the latest gun
Sir Gunman. Can you please do a video on the gti pro /pro lite trans tech air caps? Are there differences compared to the older caps?

They really need to send you all the caps, and a couple different tips to see how you can dial it in for yourself.

Do I need to change out the tip if it's the aqua dvr I'm not painting water based products any pros/cons to sticking with the dvr aqua.

I have a Devilbiss regulator and ANI. Also have a Sharpe. Decades old still working great.
Great demo,

The hot new guns to try are the porphis out of China. They've probably already sent you one with your name on it🤙

I got a few old version 4600’s Improvements in spraying?
Can you review the luma iii Exodus
I’m using 4600 xtreme with Titania Pro+Nozzle 1.3xl can’t get orange peel at all. Can’t get Factory finish.
Use the dvr clear cap for orange peel original finish look
Lower the air pressure tho
That's the one thing I hated with the 4500 extremebi could not get orange peel. It was good for getting a nice job though.

I would definitely recommend the F160 there mate
In fact you should look at the ANi Compact in 1.3
Not a cheap gun for the DIY is it worth it for us DIY Gunman it can do all base primer clear 1.3 tip what do you think .

@Snip59 I wouldn't get one of these high end guns for diy. What's your price range? Do you have a good size compressor? Is overspray a big concern?
