Nice for younger people to see authentic reality on TH-cam once in while. Raw auto mechanical work... things don't always go smoothly. Eventually... Getting the job done correctly is the most satisfying part. Kudos.

Great video. I tip for everyone. There is an up and down on this mount! Be sure to pay attention to that. I recently got the truck. This mount was in bad shape and metal cracked where the bolt goes through. I did mine and I went to put in the new part the same way I took it off. It had a huge gap! I was perplexed and thought they sent me the wrong one. I then watched a couple videos and see the slight difference. I flipped it around and it fit like a glove! A hint on the bottom bolt. Take it out first and when putting it back in start the other two bolts first then do the bottom one first so you can tighten by hand. You can get a socket on it if you do not have one of this guys fancy wrenches. I couldn't get my 1/2 on it so I found a smaller/thinner 3/8" ratchet socket 17 mm with a medium extension and it worked great.

Feel your pain as I relieved mine. I replaced the three engine mounts and the one transmission mount on my Element. The toughest one was the front engine mount. Similar to you, I had issues lining the middle bolt.

Thanks for the video. I'm doing the same job on all my mounts and love to see things don't always go perfectly smoothly for others also. I had trouble lining up some of my holes as well and got lazy on torque settings and snapped a bolt--so now I have another job to do.

You can feel the motor "move" when accelerating
Just climb under and look, you should be able to tell.

Very stupid. You can crush your hand if someone jacks the car up when you hand is that tight space.
