Thank you for stating the fastener sizes and torque values! Very helpful tutorial
Thanks for the video and all the torque specs I just did both sides in my wife's 2013 pilot 😀 😎 in less then 1 hour
@@JROB82 awesome, thanks for watching
Now I need a power tool that sounds like that :)
Everyone needs a tool that sounds like that! Doesn't it just feel better on the ears?
@@DCAutoEnhancement 😂
We tried to change the shocks on my 2011 Honda Pilot today. Could not get the pin out even with a punch and hammer. Any ideas?
@@MrsJuddernaut can you try using a flathead screwdriver between the lower control arm and the shock to help line up the bolt to punch it out?
I’m doing the same and it WILL not come out. It’s bout 3/4 the way out but stopped
@@dylonhubert9453 maybe it is stuck on the threads. Try loosening with the ratchet and socket.
@@DCAutoEnhancement I ended up getting it out by hitting it with a hammer back in to the fastened position, and starting over
@dylonhubert9453 good, thank you for the update and information, I'm sure it will help someone in the future
I spent an hour alone on each lower bolt and they came out basically threadless.
Yes it’s moving
Thank you for playing along!
My Honda dealer wants over $700 for this job. I think I found an alternative.
@@wdtaut5650 for sure! Send it to me, do it for $600. 😂 Good luck, with basic tools it should be achievable. The bottom bolt can be a challenge.
Same, after seeing this, heading out to buy the shocks tomorrow. Thanks man!
hahaha the music
