When he adds the metal triangle sticking out of the side, you can just go back in and jump out. Make sure you leave one of the walls down so that way you can get out and easily place the triangles on the inside as he says.
I did this. Added a lot to it to include a shop and never leave your turrets exposed ever and high ex as well. Use chain links for turrets otherwise they’ll snipe them
As an old rust veteran, i find some of the most memorable fun time bases you'll ever have are the ridiculous ones you just came up with on the fly lmao
I agree however most of the time the fun is from getting lost in the base , having no airlocks and getting deeped on , or finding out that it was only 2c4 for raiders to get to tc XD
Great and amazing design very strong. Sheet metaled the interior and outside as well. I got raided today offlined:(. Came back and talked to the raiders who blew threw the foundations all the way to armored bunker took them 33 rockets and 10 c4 in a 2x server. Some things I can recommend is the window make armored as soon as you can. Shotgun trap behind every garage door. Build a shooting floor. More auto turrets outride. And honey comb again from the outside. Armor roof. No base is raid proof but this one makes it super expensive. Great build!!!
If you shoot an incendiary rocket at the side wall that supports the twig it opens the bunker. I appreciate you have to know this and get to the side wall but its still a weakness.
Love this base. One minor issue ***The main bunker when closed with HQ and opened up destroys anything on the righthand side of 2nd floor loot room. The other bunker when opening destroys anything on righthand side of wall leading to jump up to 3rd floor. *** Didn't realize it and lost two boxes of loot, but nothing serious. The second bunker when opening destroyed my locker, but suspected it would happen and recovered my kits. Just a little over 100 hours in (completely new to the game), but this guide was easy to follow. Just set up the auto turrets as well. Looks rad as hell! ^___^
@zypic I really loved this base design and hated that they broke the bunker mechanics. I did find a simple work around, although it’s not ideal, it keeps the general design of the base in tact. If you remove the door entrance into your bunker, leaving it as an open socket, you can still use both bunkers. If you add a bag inside the bunker to the side out of sight, you get a peak through as well. Again, I know it takes away from the total rocket count needed to raid the bunker, but if you love the base design as much as I did, it’s a decent trade off. Upgrade your roof piece for the bunker to hqm and you should still be able to withstand a good raid.
1st wipe in this base got raided day 3 before I got hqm, found a few improvements tho!...... Bunker snaps that your creating with the outward triangle can be replaced with half walls adjacent to where triangles placed lets you snap proper, also my team and I will be putting the tc in one of the triangle between the bunkers for the "unlootable tc" with window an triangle hatch.
I used this base design and 3 offline attempts were made, they ran out of rockets before tc each time. I will say though that neither time did they start on the tc side, but still. thing bounced 3 offlines like it was easy. GG
I used this base and logged onto it after it had been raided. It was easy enough to set back up as I used external TCs so I got it back pretty fast. The raiders came back after I fixed it and said a lot of not nice words about the base as it had cost them so much the first time. They tried to raid again and got to the tc where they got my componets and upkeep for the base and were really uspet again as they didnt have enough explosives to finish the raid and my external disconnectable tcs were still up. 10/10 will build again.
Yeah on a 5x server you should be adding 5x the honeycomb.... That means more HQM, More Metal walls more honeycomb and more levels. You have more materials to do so. But for 5x servers... Sometimes it's just better to have multiple bases and split your loot among them.
2 problems with this design, anything placed near the bunker like boxes any electrical items break when the bunker is broken, the g doors over the bunker decay ? but as first time user of a youtube base im impressed
Thank you! I do really appreciate the feedback. Yeah unfortunately I did forget to mention the demolishing issue in the video, do note that it’s not anything around the bunker but only on the backside wall of the bunker (that collides with the roof.) Anything that the roof sticks into will break when removing the bunker. And the garage doors decaying I’ve only heard about from 1 other person, I personally have never had that issue but I assume it’s just a fluke. I designed a base like this in the almost exact same layout. Except for two bunkers, you had one, and I used floor stacking to make a triple bunker seal. The bunker even had two armored roofs. I played it on a few wipes and nobody tried to raid it. The only problem I had is that it's cramped when you have 2-3 people inside and there was only one way in-and-out and to the roof so getting camped becomes a problem. It was built off of a 2x2. I'll try it with a 2x1.

I like the idea of merging two 2x1 but maybe you can do something with the two triangles in between. You could have some extra space in one of the bunkers and the two jump ups next to each other maybe? Or maybe no foundations but a small oil refinery accesible through a window maybe
Actually the middle triangles protect the bunkers from being splashed by rockets, they increase the raid cost by 12. If you want to open those up you can but know that it will be easier to raid
@@Zypic oh that's right, that makes a lot of sense. Thank you for clarifying. Do you think you could still remove the foundations for those to place a small oil refinery reachable through windows? Would that affect the rocket cost?
you didnt awnsered the most crucial question tho!, how much "stupid assholes" should i give to my teammates for leaving the bunkers open before logging off!?
New update for console kinda messed with this build when sealing the bunkers, you can’t place the triangle to even place the roof piece you need to seal. Idk if it’s just me who noticed but you can seal it as normal if you just remove the lock and the door and place it after you seal as normal
Actually the update didn’t change anything about how the bunker works but if the door swings inside into the bunker instead of into the dropdown you shouldn’t have any problems
im gonna honey come all the important parts and then add a shell around that, and if im rich or grind enough I'll honeycomb shell, and I'll probably add disconectables, might even build the shell off of that to save upkeep yeah

@@kelmorian9064 Never mind ! I just realised what I've done wrong XD I have a floor triangle behind that green door acting as a support Sorry, false alarm !
Idk if this video is too old to get a reply, i just stumpled upon it after starting playing rust. What is the purpose of the two bunkers? Wouldn't it be annoying having to destroy the triangle roof just to waste metal placing it again over and over again? And you would have to die before being able to spawn down there. Am i missing something or do you actually just have to place the roof back every time you spawn down there?
Thanks for your interest in the base! Bunkers are just meant to be sealed only when you go offline. (Or if you are getting raided) Not every time you spawn. They just increase the raid cost by adding an extra wall in the path of a raider. So having two bunkers also increases the raid cost since instead of the raider going through just one dropdown and getting everything… they have to go through two separate ones. Basically the point of this base is to make the raider spend as much explosives as possible.
@@Zypic oh okay thank you, I get it now. Thought the purpose was to place the roof on the bunker every time you went down there. And yeah it’s a great design which i’ll definitely use since I’m not the best base builder.
Some reason the two garage doors that cover the bunkers decay, thought maybe they were taking damage when breaking the bunkers but that's not the case. Any thoughts?
Did you intentionally give the metal honeycomb stone foundations? Also, why were the bunker foundations metal but the walls/roof HQM? Im not criticizing; I just want to make sure I build correctly
Yep, simply because the walls are low enough to the ground that no one could get under if the foundation is broken. If it’s higher I would recommend upgrading
I'm on console rust and I cant place the bunkers. I've taken off the doors to place the twig floor but the placing the roof part is where the problem is. It won't place no matter where I stand. Am I doing something wrong?
Only 26-27 rockets to both bunker loot rooms. They can be splashed just tested it as I am looking for a new starter for this wipe.Would have been nice with 3-4 more doors to the bunker area.
The raid cost posted is to all main loot, not just bunker loot. Regardless I’m guessing you splashed top down in between the bunkers after going through the door path? Which is 32 rockets I believe
@@Zypic 2 sheet doors would be 8 satchels no one will use rockets on those. Then 3 garage doors 3 rockets 3 c4.Then 15-16 rocket inbetween the two bunkers. So 26-27 rockets total and by main loot I assumed you meant the bunkers.I am using it now and just added a couple floors on it and a heli pad.Really good thing about the base is there is a lot of room for expansion.Just wish there was more doors leading to the bunkers.
@@Nosfeast well by main loot I’m also including the upstairs 2x1 but yes pretty much, although where the raid cost totals to 48 is getting into the bunkers. Remember there is also a divider wall in between the two drop downs. That means you would need to spend another 8 rockets to splash the two. After you’re into the drop downs you need to spend another 4 rockets for each armoured door in the single door frame, and another 3 rockets for each garage door. I’m glad you like the base though thank you! 🙏🙏
Keep up the small efficient bases, im trying now to design an even smaller base for solo only scrap farming. Can we get a builders sanctuary code for this?
Hey @Zypic at 8:40 why did you skip this wall? It seems to be the most vulnerable part of the base, allowing them to splash into both bunkers for a lower cost
Good design man! I am still a beginner and I consider slowly building up a Paradox 1 in a community server, hopefully, no one wants to break it... (I am a casual gamer)
At this section I’m talking about the buffer in the honeycomb. I add the outer wall to the honeycomb later on, but I only skip the buffer since it’s pointless to add. The raid cost wouldn’t increase with the wall in that slot so I’m just trying to save resources
Unfortunately as of the new update, this bunker has been patched. The base layout still works however so you can use other bunker methods.
Could you hint, what should I look for?
what would be the best way to get around not being able to place a square foundation below the triangle floor?

Great base design. Would love to see another video with externals and a shooting floor
Cool base man!
This base looks amazing, can't wait to try it. Nice Work !
I was thinking about a 2x2 split in the middle while have 2 bunkers but that is also a good idea
you didnt awnsered the most crucial question tho!, how much "stupid assholes" should i give to my teammates for leaving the bunkers open before logging off!?
i really really really like this base design
Great design, I absolutely love it! Would you happen to have this built on Fortify?
bruh, who plays fortify...
If only there was a upkeep and material breakdown 😳
Check description, I do link all final build cost info
Make a wide gap version please?
New update for console kinda messed with this build when sealing the bunkers, you can’t place the triangle to even place the roof piece you need to seal. Idk if it’s just me who noticed but you can seal it as normal if you just remove the lock and the door and place it after you seal as normal
Actually the update didn’t change anything about how the bunker works but if the door swings inside into the bunker instead of into the dropdown you shouldn’t have any problems
cool design. storage could be optimized though
Awesome build man 👍🏻 how many rockets to TC?
Thanks I’m happy you like it! 26 is the cheapest path to TC, also all other raid info is in the description :)
im gonna honey come all the important parts and then add a shell around that, and if im rich or grind enough I'll honeycomb shell, and I'll probably add disconectables, might even build the shell off of that to save upkeep yeah
Was a great desing until the patch last Friday. Woke up in a base yesterday as usual, broke the twig floor and “ hello ” ther roof didn’t crumble 🤣🤣🤣 spent so much time trying to to unseal myself 😅
This isn’t patched, maybe a teammate placed something?
@@Zypic i was sealed by myself in the loot room , team mate upstairs. i even tested it out with a twig after , brake the teog triangle and the twig roof still there . Ill upload screen recording today maybe you can see what I’ve done wrong. Had no issues with this base whole last wipe btw . It great, best part was when i got raided the guy ended up in a wrong loot room and ran out of explosives 🤣🤣
I am using this build for wipe and can confirm the bunkers still work
@@kelmorian9064Definitely not working for me. please see this recording I did this morning th-cam.com/video/pjSmbeweAKs/w-d-xo.html
@@kelmorian9064 Never mind ! I just realised what I've done wrong XD I have a floor triangle behind that green door acting as a support Sorry, false alarm !
I have spent hours trying to setup LG boxes like that I just can't get the 4th box in place I give up. ill have 3 I guess.
Nice base design
this is just a updated "Rhino" bunker but very nice additions
Zypic: It'll set a raider back 50 rockets.
Me: WHAT?!? ಠ_ಠ
Have my upvote.
Is there a reason for HQ doorways in the bunker? Armoured Doors only have as much hp as a Stone Wall, couldn't we save ourselves some resources?
i think its cause u can techically blow the doorframe and then explode the twig saving 7 rockets
It's to force the attacker to take out the bunker section instead of just trying to take out the frame (and using granade/flame thrower to kill twig)
Some people had issues with this, I’m still trying to work out what causes it, personally I’ve never had the issue so I think it’s just a one-off. :/
@@Zypic maybe server resets? It's been pretty consistent with me
@@Zypic actually not server resets, I repaired my doors and they lost 200hp since my first comment on it
I have video proof of this happening, as well as the bunker breaking boxes above and around the roofs, where can i share this?
Did you intentionally give the metal honeycomb stone foundations? Also, why were the bunker foundations metal but the walls/roof HQM? Im not criticizing; I just want to make sure I build correctly
Yep, simply because the walls are low enough to the ground that no one could get under if the foundation is broken. If it’s higher I would recommend upgrading
Not my style but still deserves a like. Great job man.
Love this build works wonders on console rust
It does work on console
I love this base bro
Keep up the small efficient bases, im trying now to design an even smaller base for solo only scrap farming. Can we get a builders sanctuary code for this?
i love this sure going to use next wipe
Hey @Zypic at 8:40 why did you skip this wall? It seems to be the most vulnerable part of the base, allowing them to splash into both bunkers for a lower cost
He put walls
Why not just start with a 2x3triangle in the very beginning and only leave that one wall and ceiling wood?
If I could, Should I make everything sheet metal? Or is the stone meant to bait people in?
Person preference, I’d say if u have already upgrade everything on the inside and you have extra then go ahead
@@Zypic Sweet! I'm about to build it up and I've just been afraid of sealing something off and not being able to get to it to upgrade later
very nice base can you please show in your next video shooting floor in this base
The Paradox 2, the updated version of this base... th-cam.com/video/rdCilgjXHn4/w-d-xo.html
Awesome design!
Good design man! I am still a beginner and I consider slowly building up a Paradox 1 in a community server, hopefully, no one wants to break it... (I am a casual gamer)
hey bro , @ 8:29 , why do you skip honeycombing the wall outside the airlocker of the 2x1? a bit confused , thanks.
At this section I’m talking about the buffer in the honeycomb. I add the outer wall to the honeycomb later on, but I only skip the buffer since it’s pointless to add. The raid cost wouldn’t increase with the wall in that slot so I’m just trying to save resources
@@Zypic cheers. gotcha, thought it might have to do with some stability problems with sealing the bunker or smth haha.
the triangle on the square foundation is really nice way to avoid splash bug on the bunker.
Do you mean the metal triangle shelf in the stone honeycomb?
