Hey, I recently found the channel and i'm really enjoying the content. I'm visiting Vegas in September but only have 3 days sadly. I'll be with my son and we both love our food. Is there a particular restuarant you would recommend for an evening meal? We will be staying at Caesers if that makes any difference 😀
We’re so glad to hear that you’re enjoying the channel. As far as dinners go, we highly recommend Amalfi or Brasserie B at Caesar’s Palace. We had fabulous experiences at both. For something a little more casual, dinner at the bacchanal buffet is still a very nice option (it’s our favorite buffet in Vegas) Mr Chow is lovely, but can get very pricy. We’ve not been yet, but Peter Luger Steakhouse comes highly recommended.. If you are open to going to other resorts, we both adore the Eiffel Tower restaurant as well as Mon Ami Gabi at Paris. Next door to Paris at Planet Hollywood we’d suggest Gordon Ramsey Burger for something more casual, and Rosa Mexicano for an upscale Mexican dinner. I hope that you folks have a great trip! 3 days may not feel like much, but you can still pack a lot of Vegas into that amount of time. -James
@@JamesandPaulTryitAll @JamesandPaulTryitAll amazing thank you so much (I apologise as I must have missed this reply). A very helpful and informative list of options to choose from and I can't wait to visit 🥰 xxx
You both have the best energy. Such a fun video. I need to stop at Duck Donuts next time I'm in Vegas, because a warm French toast doughnut sounds delicious.
You are so sweet! Thank you so much! We’re really glad you enjoyed the video. Duck Donuts is a definite treat, and with it being right smack dab in the middle of the strip, it’s a good location no matter where you’re staying. They do have locations in other US States, so depending on where you’re at, you might have one near you. I only recently found out about one near me in AZ, and I’m gonna have to go hit them up soon. -James
That location on the strip really is a perfect location to be close enough to everything. Well now I have to go check them out online to see if I have any closer to me.
Awww..... You guys are such a sweet couple. Get it? 🥁 1 I had high hopes for the pistachio donut 😢 2 The greasy, butter doughnut piqued my interest because it sounds well-balanced. The Venetian doughnut sounds well-balanced too. But, if I am going to do fruit and Chocolate, I would prefer it as an after-dinner dessert. 3 I will dog Krispy Kreme even more. Obscenely sweet and artificial. Like, a TV dinner, Diet Coke and sugar-free gum. One doughnut about 20 years ago was enough for me. 4 Happy 4th of July!
Just found your videos today and have been binge watching them for a good portion of the day. You both are very engaging and fun to watch. I am going back to Vegas in April and will likely try some of your recommendations. Thanks!
That is so kind of you to say! I’m blushing so much right now. We’re so happy you enjoyed, and thank you so much for watching! We’ve got lots more Vegas (with a sprinkling of other destinations) videos coming every week. -James
It didn’t feel right not including Pinkbox in this list. It’s such a popular spot, we had to give them a little love and attention. Donitique is definitely worth a stop if you’re at the Venetian. While it’s the priciest of the shops on the strip, the donuts are just so beautiful and expertly crafted, it’s become one of my favorite places to satisfy my sweet tooth while in Vegas. -James
Yes… you must do Donutique. Admittedly this was our second visit to them and on our last one we did a seasonal pumpkin cheesecake donut and it was amazing. The donuts there are pricey but you are paying for the artistry in those donuts and it’s essentially what Dominique Ansel at Caesars Palace would be if that was a full on donut shop that only sold donuts. -Paul
This was actually our second time there, and I don’t remember the first one being so chaotic. So glad that you liked the video though! Thanks for watching! -James
Randy's would be my pick too, haven't had a bad doughnut at ANY of their locations. If you ever get away from The Strip there's a place called Friendly's Donuts on Boulder Hwy in Henderson that is my hands down fave. Fair warning, they only take cash, but still absolutely worth it
Oh there’s plenty of “Off Strip” places that likely do better, and believe me that when we either take a trip that isn’t locked in by airplane and/or centered on the strip that would be amazing to explore because we did try Saint Honore on a previous trip and that’s a ways off strip, but it was definitely an experience and very much like Donutique in just how fancy they did their donuts. -Paul
Also… Dunkin was only on here because the gimmick of making this video was “Every donut shop” So we had to begrudgingly include them. And it was just as tragic as we anticipated 😂😂😂 -Paul
You totally should try Randy’s Donuts at Resorts World. The Butter Crumb donut is so good. As well as the Chocolate Crondy and the Maple bar. I can also say that they are very consistent in quality because they opened one in Phoenix down the street from us and the Butter Crumb tastes just as good as it did at Resorts World. -Paul
I’m a Vegas local and had donuts at Randy’s when they first opened. I wasn’t impressed in the least. I normally go to Pink box as a first choice and Carl’s as my second choice. My pink box favorite is the “Golden Night”
I’ve been wanting to check out Carl’s, and it is on a tentative list for off strip donuts in the future. I continue to try and see what people see in pinkbox, but still haven’t been won over yet. I’ll try the golden knight though when I’m staying at Plaza in September. -James
Great video lads I'm visiting from the UK April 1st for a week. Il do a different doughnut a day. 🇺🇸🤘🏻 ...in the UK we love hot doughnuts so il deffo be trying ducks
Thank you! I’m so glad that you enjoyed it! There’s nothing quite like a donut that still warm, is there? It’s like pure bliss in a bite! I hope you enjoy Duck Donuts. Since they let you customize your donut anyway that you want, it’s hard to not love it. Have a great trip to Las Vegas! I’m sure it will be fun. I know that we’re definitely looking forward to our next one in May. -James
I did not know there was a Duck Donuts in Las Vegas. My husband and I love Duck Donuts, but we will certainly try Randy's the next time we are in Vegas. Dunkin is definitely not what it used to be. I hope you guys got your side insulin 😂 after this video. Loved your shirts!
We actually discovered Duck Donuts because of this video, only to find out that they have several locations near us as well. I gotta say that they do a really yummy donut! We’re glad you liked the shirts! We really wanted a cute little gimmick for the video. -James
Fun video and you guys give great descriptions of whatever you eat. I work at a Dunkin. That Cupid's Choice donut was a big seller last month. We went to Vegas last May just before Pink Box opened. We were disappointed but sounds like it's more about aesthetics and photos in there, as we don't care for super sweet donuts. Maybe we'll give Carl's Donut Holes a try (where the Donut Bar used to be - which we loved). We'll be in Vegas May 5-8. When are you going?
Awe thank you ❤️ - We are glad you enjoyed the video. Pinkbox looks pretty, and they aren’t a bad donut, which is why I rated them well, but it’s a matter of taste. If you love sweet you’ll love them, if you prefer more balance and savory, it’s not for you. Whereas Donutique is also very sweet, but they definitely seemed to have more balance with tart/tangy flavors to offset all that sweet. We will be in Vegas at the end of May to see more, do more, and bring more content in those following weeks. -Paul
I think it would have been better if you had a control donut from every place that every donut shop would have (like a standard glazed) and also one chosen by the employee.
We may try that in the future if we redo this video. Things are always changing on the strip and you never know when a new donut shop is gonna pop up! Thanks for taking the time to comment! We appreciate it so much. -James
In general your California based donut chains tend to be better. This is because of the southeast Asian mass migrations to California after the Vietnam war. Much of Southeast Asia were originally French colonies so when they migrated here they brought their tradition of pastry-making with them. They bought up donut shops and improved the recipes. Long story short it’s not surprising that Randy’s won. It is not Asian owned but they would have closed a long time ago if they weren’t able to put up with the competition.
Oh yeah ❤️… We saw that Donut King documentary on HBO and it explained why we had so many amazing donuts in SoCal growing up. Asian donut chains FTW -Paul
Oooh… they do look good but definitely quite a bit far off strip. The one hurdle we have in trying a lot of “off strip” places is that we fly into Vegas so we don’t often have access to a car or vehicle and its often a huge rideshare cost if it’s further out. Not saying it won’t ever happen but it’s also something we definitely would have to plan well in advance for if we do a donut sequel centered on off strip donuts… and I know that if we do that Saint Honore would also be included. -Paul
That does sound real delicious… Obviously with the gimmick of the employee picking the donut we were at the whim of what they chose, but that does sound amazing and despite the hiccups we had at District that day, we would definitely do them again. Thank you for watching ❤️ -Paul

We originally debated just doing a glazed donut at each spot, but worried that viewers would not find it as interesting. Though now having a Randy’s Donuts right up the street from our home, we’ve had plenty of their glazed donuts and still feel very comfortable in the fact that we crowned them the winner. -James
We’ll be staying at NYNY in May, I really want to give them another shot because the regular donuts looked delightful. I have never thought about doordashing in Vegas. I may have to give that a shot in the future. So glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you very much for watching and leaving a comment. It means a lot to us! -James
It’s definitely funny you mention that because we will be staying for one night at New York New York when we return to Vegas in May to eventually put together a “24 Hours at…” video and we do want to check out the America restaurant during that time (as long as we have room in our stomachs). Since the donuts are right there, we may just decide to pick a donut ourselves or find some clever way to include it in a short… That Cruffin was sadly a bit too dry for our liking though. It was one of those “it’s good on paper but maybe not in execution” ideas. -Paul
