Own a 09 blade silver c6z for 5 years now. 58k miles. Just an amazing car. Very unique experience driving this beast compared to new high hp, high tech cars. That raw feeling can't be replaced.
Same, but black 08 with silver C7Z wheels, it's my DD. It still makes driving an absolute blast. Thought about getting a new C8Z to replace it, but after seeing the new GM pics of it, I don't think I'll be doing that. Besides, I'm still VERY happy with my C6Z. Might do a H/C package and lighting mods to make it harder for myself to replace it...
Great Video. I just bought a naturally exasperated 08 C6 427 Z06,with 6100 miles. Absolutely love the car, and it's pristine Cherry! Stored in a climate control storage. I'm very fortunate, and will continue to preserve this car as long as I'm alive. 🏁🚩

Always love it when you are at Corvette World, Just like going to a Corvette show every time, and Robert corvette knowledge is awesome. Good thing i dont live close to you guys, my wife would hang me. Great video. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely hate the see thru hood. It looks very cheap and something a teenager would do to a older hot rod. But that's just me and if you love it that's awesome too.....

My 3000 mile will cooks car I pd 44k which was alot 3 yrs ago, tht blue one 3 yrs ago was 33k 35k max. Covid really helped price. Thts lo miles on these but not lo mile. 04 zo6 in wrapper on bringatrailer with 11 miles 45500 I bought nov last yr. It just got 62500. C6 cars are high cause of covid and new ones are 100k.
You guys are a class act. It's obvious you are true Vette guys, not another used car salesman acting phoney. I owned 70 350, 350 hp car with a 4 speed. Plus an 85 Tuned Port car. Both write me a ticket red. My problem back then I didn't realize you don't own 2 Vettes and have 2 living ex wives at the same time.
I would still feel concerned over those old tires. If they won't come apart at normal speeds that's great! It seems like it would change the driving experience at least.
Another awesome video and overview of the C6! Great shoutout to our veterans and thoughts and prayers to our troops dealing with the shit show in Afghanistan. Thank you!
I met will Cooksey in 93 at the Corvette plant, I had C4 base in 07 I bought C5 Z06, now I have C6 base, hoping to get C7 Z06 before I get to old to get it. Beautiful Vettes.
Very cool! I got the missing triplet to those cars. I bought mine September 2020 with 3,800 miles for $37,000. 2LZ w/ Navigation LeMans Blue Z06. Shes got a whopping 16,300 miles on her now! Such a blast to own and drive!
Love the thumbnail, and Robert seems like a genuine, nice and knowledgeable Corvette guy. I thought too that I heard ya'll say he is a Veteran, like myself, and if so Robert thank you for your service!
Welp...Mine is a 2013 and has 100Kmiles.. And, it looks about as good as those low mileage examples. In fact, I'm told my car looks new and people are pretty shocked to hear of it's mileage. These cars are very reliable and robust. And fast has hell. Just be careful if the car was made in the 2008-2010 range. Linimar Manufacturing of Ontario didn't machine the valve guides concentrically during that time. In Feb of 2011, GM asked them to do a 100% quality control inspection. So I'd recommend either earlier or later than that range. Otherwise, it'll easily run away and from WRX STIs and Caymens and Boxsters in both a straight line AND in the twisties....No prob!!
Love the steering wheel and the black c6 but I have a thing for a Le Manns blue 💙 thank you Mike & Dan , Robert & Sue Anne loved the video im looking forward to join the C6 vette world 🌎 🏁💯👍👍👍😎🙋♂️

Looks more like the gen 2 Viper GTS to me (I own a C6Z and gen 2 GTS)... I think GM tried to make it look more like the more expensive Viper, but maybe I'm wrong.
The tires are trash.. I got a c6 z06 4 months ago with 1740 miles on it tires and car looked brand new , Stock Goodyear F1’s , Been putting off getting new ones , this tires would not hook up in first when running it , 4 days ago I was running in hard went from 2nd to 3rd car went completely sideways fought to save it and thank the Lord I did .. yea the tires will be ok for cruising but not for running the car .. If you are going to get on it trash those tires for sure.. I went straight home after that happened and spent almost $1600 on some Michelin 4s ..

Also I don't like the term supercharged . I think the term ( Fully blown ) sounds better. Because it has a (Blower) Which sounds better than saying supercharger
Yes the OEM steering wheels are bad. I no longer have mine and happy about it. Caravaggio took care of my needs. BUT, the one thing I noticed today is the prices on these C6's are back in the normal range and will sell quickly. Thanks so much for letting the rest of these outrageous price nuts know that they can't keep gouging us.
The C6 ZR1 see through hood seemed gimmicky, you couldn't see any of the acutal engine because it was covered with that plastic beauty cover, so what was the point? It's like the fake head scoop and side vents on the 90's mustangs.
My question is who wants that car stock.... Now , if you own one ... Spend the $3800 and get the damn valves fixed. Cause not is like playing a $20,000 game of craps.... Dont listen the sales guy about service issues listen to the performance shop guy that has to fix them when they grenade. If can't afford to bullet proof the car you probely cant afford the car anyway.

Heck yeah.
Did he say that the 1 millionth corvette was an Ls9? I thought that the millionth corvette was a C4.
Priced to stay in show room can buy 2015 for 51000
The C6 ZR1 see through hood seemed gimmicky, you couldn't see any of the acutal engine because it was covered with that plastic beauty cover, so what was the point? It's like the fake head scoop and side vents on the 90's mustangs.
My question is who wants that car stock.... Now , if you own one ... Spend the $3800 and get the damn valves fixed. Cause not is like playing a $20,000 game of craps.... Dont listen the sales guy about service issues listen to the performance shop guy that has to fix them when they grenade. If can't afford to bullet proof the car you probely cant afford the car anyway.
Same steering wheel As a Cobalt, G5, Saturn Ion, etc..
What is the original color of captain America
It’s White.
60 grand for a 2006 used vet no thanks you find a used 17 or 18 for that much money I am waiting to buy one used but I am waiting for the prices to come down
The LS7 loves the taste of valves.🥴
No they don't. Few ones and very rare.
@@SuperBoss351 You’re sadly mistaken.
@@1EVILZ06 everyone has an opinion. I've owned 4 chevy stores 33 years raced these cars all my life, use lingenfelter, and Katech who builds all chevys race engines, call Tony there ask him. Handful of them and thts it. But again your entitled to your opinion. How many have you seen or owned that it happened too?
@@SuperBoss351 That doesn’t change the facts one bit. The valve guides in the earlier LS7 were machined very poorly. It’s well documented. To the point that GM is involved in a class action lawsuit. Over the LS7’s appetite to eat valves.
@@1EVILZ06 thats been from guys on forum. Its bs. Look it up get facts. Its NOT a problem .some guys added superchargers and turbos and had issues. Those engines don't like boost without head work. Lawsuit went nowhere. Have YOU had issue? If not than hard to jump on cars.
wow
That lemans blue looks almost identical to my 02 electron blue.
👍
Hope you do at least one more video on the PC.
I will for sure.
Remember these are Corvettes not Ferraris. They're supposed to lose value they're not designed to be a trailer Queen they're designed to be a track car just like a Mustang GT
Why on earth would they put red on b;lue.
