Rear differential
The recommended gear oil for the rear differential is MB 235.8 type spec 75W-90 GL-5 or MB 235.20 SAE 80W-90 GL-5
The rear differential oil capacity for a 2011 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2500 with a 741.416 axle is 5.5 pints. However, some Sprinter models have a rear differential axle code of 741.415 or 741.423, which only has a refill capacity of 1.5 liters
