I worked tremendously hard on this video. However, some animations might not be 100% accurate as the accident occurred just four days ago, and there is not much data available. As soon as more information is released, I’ll make a new and more accurate video. Also, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family of those who have lost their loved one onboard PIA Flight 8303. 😢
EDIT: Here’s an updated video with better information: th-cam.com/video/zO5rXxJRmf4/w-d-xo.html

As an active A330 captain and having flown the A320 for more than 7 years allow me to make following remarks:
1. During the first approach the aircraft was obviously quite high (possibly also fast) and the gear seems to have been forgotten up apparently as a result of focusing too much on making the landing and avoiding a go around (which could only be just a little embarrassing and nothing more). Approaching high (and fast) can happen in everyday operation as a result of accepting shortcuts by ATC or just simply mismanaging the approach. The safest course of action for that is to cancel the approach and request new vectoring and not force the approach and landing.
2. No pilot makes a belly landing without first completing the relevant checklists and informing the tower. The warnings were for some reason ignored (continuous repetitive chime and most probably also the “TOO LOW GEAR” which by the way cannot be cancelled unless the gear is lowered or a go around performed).
3. After watching a video of a runway inspection it appears that the aircraft touched down with its engines 3 times before going around.
4. As a result of the engines scraping the runway, it seems they got damaged and failed after a while leading to a dual engine loss as also evidenced by the extension of the RAT (Ram Air Turbine) which also comes out automatically if the two engine driven generators are lost.
5. On the second approach the landing gear was down as seen in some videos (so no malfunction) and the aircraft crashed with a very high pitch up attitude which implies it was very near a stall (roughly around 100 knots) obviously in an attempt to delay the crash as much as possible. It is very possible that the gear was lowered quite early after the go around and before the engine failure(s). This explains why the aircraft struggled to climb as with only one engine operating (assuming one failed first) and the gear down the aircraft climb performance is seriously affected. Finally, had the gear remained up, the aircraft might have made it to a more open space near the airport if not to the runway. The gliding performance with gear up is around 3NM/1000ft compared to gear down which is around 2NM/1000ft (meaning that for every loss of 1000ft of altitude the aircraft travels 3 and 2 nautical miles respectively-/1NM=1852 meters).
All this is of course hypothetical and we have to wait for the official accident report to find out what really happened.
Great analysis, seems true, given the circumstances
I have been asking around about this very thing. The moment I saw the video I told my wife "That plane was stalling", then as the news of the engine hits came out, I looked at it again and I wondered what the gear was doing down during a glide.
I don't know if keeping the gear up would have given them the 1300 meters of glide necessary, also they were far from the apex of the racetrack (looked a bit earlier than the final turn) but at that point, even sliding across the runaways would have been better than coming down, nose up, in a populated area. The pilot sounded calm and in control, but I suspect the cockpit was blaring alarms and they weren't thinking straight.
Bizarre.
Plausible explanation of the sequence of events. Indicates terrible lack of judgement on the part of the crew.
Hmm, good thinking, but it could be possible that the a320 was flying too fast for the gears to extend, maybe it has a system preventing it from being extended at high speeds due to the risk of the gears being ripped off by the wind

As an experienced flyer, I think you flew in the months of July or June , the weather around IGI airport stays that way most of the time. They usually round above the air till ATC gives clearance

You don’t “attempt” a belly landing. And you certainly don’t do one without letting ATC know.
PILOT ERROR over confident PUSS
No , a belly landing should be prepared a lot.. also with foam on runway and fire equipment st.by, involving ATC.
They didn‘t attempt a belly landing. They weren‘t aware that the gear hadn‘t extended, because they were so focused on somehow fixing the messed up approach. Gear probably didn‘t extend due to overspeed from the steep dive... ATC should not have cleared them to land, when they were too high (and he knew it). And they themselve should have taken the go around vectors they were offered by ATC. As always a fatal chain of human errors, hybris, over self-esteem, bad cockpit communication, power hierarchy (why didn‘t the pilot monitoring call for a go around?) has ultimately led to this totally unnecessary loss of lives.

"No final word on what caused the crash?" How about "stupidity?" It's a word never used in aviation crash reports but is entirely fitting in many cases. Air France 447 would fully qualify for its use...and many others.
AF447 was more complex, and there were some valuable lessons to be learnt from that accident. The FAA actually changed the way they teach stall recovery and updated the airman certification standards as a result of that accident. This one, on the other hand, was caused by a series of inexplicably dumb decisions, and when the final report comes out, I doubt there will be any causal factors that could not have been prevented by knowledge that is already commonly available to everyone. Simply put, the pilots were just stupid as f... A total waste, so unnecessary.

@@bowlchamps37 The sounds were not for this video, they on every recording I have heard or seen, clearly ding ding ding continuous, and every knowledgable commentator states it was the gear warning.
@clivewsm You are correct, the gear disagree warning can be heard in the ATC audio. It’s a very distinguished noise that can it be canceled by the pilot like other audio cues. This audio message would have been active followed by the “too low, gear warning” once the got in close proximity to the ground. The pilots had to be very aware of their situation which is why it’s inconceivable that they didn’t advise ATC.
When pilot went for belly landing in 1st attempts then how could he go for a go around after damaging the engines after touching it to the ground?😶 Earlier it was a technical fault with the plane but pilot's decision for goaround killed them all. Its a pilot fault & i mean its common sense that you have got only 1 attempt in belly landing bcz your engines will get crashed obviously.

The video is incorrect, they weren't attempting a belly landing the first time, the preliminary report has confirmed this. They didn't know the gear wasn't down.
@@DoubleMonoLR true. No technical issue. Which is even more sad!

There is a theory that he was too fast too for gear and Airbus blocks it automatically.
This video is wrong... due to the wrong ils approach in the first attempt they had to a go around and the landing gear was retracted too soon so the engines scraped the Tarmac
Panic and fear probably
No pilot would knowingly make a "belly landing" without declaring an emergency (PAN or Mayday) notifying the airport and requesting emergency crews to be available. I have been on an aircraft that had gear problems and the flybys, the cycling of landing gear, the copilot visiting the cabin to look thru to see the gear....all takes time...and we didn't just "go for it". This "initial descent and landing" is problematic on many levels. Of note is that the airspeed should be assessed at gear down -- the A320 will not allow the gear to come down at speeds above a certain level to keep the gear and panels from being ripped off... the issue is not what happened on the go-around, its what happened leading up to the decision or lack of a decision to put the plane down on the engines...
True that ))
Were the pilots fasting for Ramadan?
Yeah, it's quote obvious they forgot to put the gear down, freaked out when they realised and went for a go around.
Yeah these pilots were really bad at following protocols, I think the gear may have not come down because of their ignorance of their incorrect glideslope leading to a much steeper decent which might have stressed the automation of the A320. I really think it might’ve been a training problem. I can bet my money that when the investigation is done, the main cause will be pilot error

@@naineshpatel3743 I think they pulled the switch by the gear didn't deploy. Technical error.
@@crand20033 It's believed they were travelling too fast for the gear to deploy when they selected, the gear lever was in the down position, but the gear was not actually down and locked. This possibly led to confusion for both of the flight crew, as there is not just the pilot in command, but also his second there to check things and ensure checklists are followed.
If the gear lever was cycled once speed was more acceptable, the gear would have dropped and deployed.
I don't understand how they could ignore the gear alarms, and flashing light indicator that would appear on both sides. The pilot also declared he was comfortable on approach which means all settings should be right for landing configuration including gear.
There is also a potential user-interface problem here with gear lever selectors that is however the same on just about every aircraft. A short glance will show the physical gear lever in the down position, but this is clearly NOT the same as the gear actually being down and locked. Ideally, this lever would return to the un-set position if unable to deploy as yet another indication that gear hasn't deployed.

Yannis L well it’s really Take-Off Go Around power It’s has an associated AP mode, but TOGA is a power setting.
This is the most absurd, surreal accident I' ve ever seen so far, in all aspects. Crew performance, tower lack of attitude and all the awkward circumstances. Both, pilots and airline management must be deeply investigated (recruitment, formation, safety standarts, etc) and , if its the case, immediately prohibited from flying and responsables sent to jail. Now, an adjacent aspect:
Over the two last decades pilots turned into "flight system's operators" and real piloting skills are being lost more and more, year after year, as they are now formed "ab initio" by the airline's academies. They are no longer "Aviators". That's why we may encounter a 21 year old co-pilot, or even a captain of 25, because they have no previous experience in the air force of, at least, eight years facing challenging situations.
Comment updating- we now heard about pilot's fake licenses. That overpasses anything we could imagine, so my new comment is; NO COMMENTS!!!

what mistake did tower guy do?
In case of belly landing, shouldn't there be firefighters in place for the inevitable fire that would ensue? The pilot seemed too relaxed; there was no mention to control tower that landing gears were not working, and Mayday! Mayday! was sounded off just almost immediately before the crash. I'm no pilot but what kind of pilot was that? By the way this video was presented, it seemed the passengers were not aware of any emergency situation. This should have been a go around from the beginning, it's also likely they were to fast when they attempted to lower the gear and that's why it wouldn't extend.
Wrong. Airspeed above threshold was around 150. . rest all I agree..
Yes! The fact that the engines contacted the runway 3 times without a tail strike definitely shows one, that the gear was up of course and also that the airspeed and ground speed was higher than normal after a very unstable approach that was way too high and way too fast. At the time that they selected gear down they must have been going above 250 kts but for some reason never rectified the fact that the gear wasn’t down yet!
Red Diamond if so then there should be signs of a tail strike, especially on the 3rd engine strike!
Pilot was an arrogant twat..
Red Diamond not sure where you are getting your information from, but ADSB data shows aircraft between 240-250kts across the threshold. Descent rate prior to the call at 3500ft was in excess of 3k/min and at times as high as 9k/min. They never intended belly land on the first attempt most likely never put the gear down. Evidenced by the pictures showing the gear down right before the crash. ATC wanting to vector the aircraft is further evidence that they thought he was to high and fast. Pilots remark that they were “comfortable” is more evidence towards the high and fast scenario. Finally if there was a known problem they would not have gone straight to a belly landing, rather they would have stayed in the air trouble shooting the problem first.
Sad, very sad, but I doubt any investigation will show any mitigating circumstances.
Rest in peace all those who lost their lives. Based on the information in this video, this is pilot error. For a start the approach was not stable, they should have discontinued the approach and asked for more track miles to lose altitude. Second, after the landing gear failed to extend they had a choice of either discontinuing the approach/going around to hold so they could figure out why that happened or using the manual gear extension - there was absolutely no need to attempt a belly landing at that stage. Once the belly landing attempt had floated outside of the touchdown zone, they should have executed a balked landing. Seems like poor decision making and failure management all the way down which unfortunately cost them and most of their passengers their lives.
Absolutely shocking actions by the flight crew
Yeah
Eh well just do a belly landing. *slams both engines into the ground* maybe well try to go around now

This people always taking things so easily... Now they lost so many lives..
This is an unlikely scenario. There is no reason for the pilots to make a belly landing on purpose. This aircraft appears to have been high and fast on approach. The landing gear will not lower on this aircraft if it is flying too fast to safely lower it. That's why the alarm was going off. The pilots appeared to have ignored the alarm and did not check the gear position lights. They just assumed the gear was down when it was not. They proceeded to do in inadvertent belly landing. They should have stayed on the ground at that point. Instead they did a go around with disastrous results.
Well we might never know the exact specifics, but that seems a plausible theory.
The a320 has an hidraulic system just like most planes if the landing gear does not work the pilot has to release the hidraulics that will make the landing gear come down thanks to gravity this is clearly the pilots fault
Yes that is the reason

I appreciate your effort. As per your narration, the pilots 'noticed' that the landing gears had malfunctioned and there was a warning in the cockpit... Question: why didnt they declare an emergency and inform the ATC that they will be attempting a belly landing? Infact they kept saying that they are comfortable while they were high on the profile and their landing gears were not down. You cant be comfortable knowing that your gears are not down. Was an emergency declared on board? The passengers who survived dont say that. There was no call to be in 'Brace for Impact'. Had it been a planned belly landing, the pilots would have declared the emergency and passengers would have been informed and the ATCOs as well. On ground Fire tenders would have been dispatched, ambulances would be stand by and and with the kind of access media has these days, the news would have been leaked that a PIA acft is attempting to belly land. In the second attempt, you have shown the acft landing minus the gears.. Which was not the case. Tje crash video clearly shows that the landing gears were extended.
So all whats being said is merely a figment of imagination and nothing more. Its speculation that what all happened but none of us can say with any degree of authority that this is what must have happened on the flight deck. Lets wait for the report.

There are at least three reasons of this crash that I can deduct after watching this video.
1- The pilot ignored the warnings from the ATC to lower the altitude.
2- The technical flaw in the landing gear.
3- Pilot's decision to do a go-around after the engines had scrapped the runway.
IMO the pilot should've gone ahead with the belly landing instead of attempting a go-around approach.
there is a turn style lever that you can deploy and rotate to help the landing gear deploy via gravity or cranking in case the primary ldg gear lever does not work

Exactly.
I just don’t understand
Why would they even try to attempt to land without landing gear & no notification from tower it does not make sense
They didn't. They were going too fast. Airbus has a automatic system in place where if plane is going too fast the landing gear will not deploy, even if it is in the deployed position. It is a safety measure to ensure the gear will not collapse on landing. Pilots had no idea gear wasn't deployed because they were ignoring warning sounds due to focusing on rapid descent to make it. It wasn't a belly landing.
That's what I'm saying, it's unbelievable to me, unless this cockpit crew was on a suicide/murder mission

@@laibalitchious5702 You can't blame the engineers. Planes are built and tested thoroughly, and maintained multiple times a day. You cannot prevent failures no matter what. @@laibalitchious5702 they dident even report to ATC that the landing gear wasent down!! Are you high? These 2 idiots killed everybody except 2 on board!
David Porter shut up why dont you try to land a plane with a damaged landing gear
The assumptions made in this video's captions do not match analysis from other sources - most likely they were too fast (diving to the runway) and the gear would not extend due to this. On the Airbus, you need to raise the gear lever and then lower it again when below the max speed.
It's possible they lowered the gear lever and considered that to be "gear down" on the checklist, and then proceeded to belly land unintentionally, ignoring the gear warning beeps for whatever reason (maybe they thought it was a warning for something else - like overspeed because they were chasing the glideslope?)
The skid marks on the runway also indicate that they floated for ages before touching down way past the usual touchdown point - another indication they were coming in way too fast. No way would they be coming in that fast intentionally with a gear failure, and without mentioning it to the tower. More likely they were just trying to get down, and figured they had enough stopping power with half of the runway behind them - and all that stress led them to completely miss the lack of "3 greens".
It's also inexplicable that they would go around if they knew they were landing gear-up - why panic and go around if you are expecting the engines to scrape the runway?
Agree.
I think you got it! It would explain a lot.
This is pretty much my theory too, except that they probably assumed the alarm was for decent rate, instead of overspeed. I see a LOT of landing videos where a perfectly good landing has a bunch of alarms that must be ignored by the crew. The airplane systems must in part be designed by LAWYERS. In other words, idiots.
This gear behaviour is what I was missing in all the previous descriptions. This makes total sense, as it turns a "everyone in the cockpit ignored a massive glaring/blaring issue and did a series of bonkers things without telling anyone" in to a "crew was rushing to get down and flubbed one single gear procedure like we've seen a bunch of times before" situation. Thanks.
They forgot to deploy it during the first approach.Pilot error caused this tragedy. The gear was operational as seen in some videos.
Most crashes to my knowledge are preventable and I get the feeling this would have come back to the pilots for not letting ATC know they had an issue with the landing gear, not declaring an emergency and coming in a lot lower and slower first time around when engines were still fine.
And after a failed belly landing and 2 engine strikes, had ATC been properly informed, they would probably have known the risks of a go around after striking both engines...
I think they didn't know that the gear isn't deployed until the aircraft struck the runway, no matter how stupid is a pilot he'll surely notify ATC if he is about to attempt a belly landing but they didn't mention it to ATC anywhere in entire conversation.
Yeah but making a go around after striking the runway was a stupid decision nonetheless
that noise was a gear not down noise
@@jaahdajinnahgoeswalkabout6819 remember that this video is just a reenactment of the event and that we don't have the actual cockpit audio. The warning system may have failed which would explain the pilots' behavior. sure dont know landing gear is not deployed bcz if the knows sure the pilot will decided first to go around for few time.for remedy.this is a clear pilot error.
Although the landing gear sensor might didn’t work , you can clearly hear the sound of the landing gear descending . You can clearly hear the violence of the air hitting the deployed gears and a sudden drop of aircraft speed

Why would the pilot deliberately do a belly landing on the first attempt without even informing the tower? If he had informed them they would have sprayed foam on the runway and be prepared for it. I think you may have got the first part wrong. It seems the pilot forgot to take down the landing gear or the landing gear didn't come down due to over speed in which case he should have aborted the first attempt to land.
I believe you are correct, the landing gear won't come down if they are over speed on approach so they should have aborted the first attempt.
All correct. Additionally the plane was too high at 5 miles out to capture the ILS correctly, yet the pilot monitoring states they are 'established on ILS 25R. My suspicion is that they captured a 'false glideslope' which can occur at 6 degrees or maybe even one at 9 or 12 degrees (this is a danger with approaching too high) and actually tried to follow that one down, hence the period of descent at up to 4000 fpm which combined with the already high energy approach resulted in a gear overspeed situation (> 260 kts IAS) which prevented the gear from extending. Once this condition exists, there has been some debate over whether the gear will then lower automatically when the overspeed ceases or whether the lever then has to be 'recycled' to use the Airbus term. The already high workload caused by the fast and high approach (which the controller had noticed incidentally and tried to 'persuade the flight crew to abandon) was worsened by the possible false glideslope which resulted in a crazy vertical profile (see flightradar24) and quite simply the approach was unstabilised and should have been rejected at or before 1000 ft AGL as SOPs require.
Because PIA pilots are useless would be a starting point

My point exactly... what really happened was that stupid pilot forgot to engage landing gear at first landing attempt because he was too busy descending from high altitude and high speed with very short distance remaining. When he realized that landing gear is not open at touchdown, he raised the plane again to go around and make second attempt but engines were already damaged at that point.

Nikon's explanation is quite reasonable.
Captain Sajjad Gul had an experience of more than 17,000 flight hours. To imagine that such an experienced captain 'forgot' to deploy the landing gear is preposterous. Whether the landing gear suffered a technical glitch or it simply could not deploy at 3000ft. per 1NM is something that will be concluded at the end of the investigation.
Why didn’t they use the emergency gravity gear extension, this is pilot error on so many levels
Same here that's what I thought.
I just thought.
How in the name of god were these idiots ever allowed to fly an aircraft?
I could fill a page with what they did wrong..
do people know they havent actually tried it? When its not on some "amateur" animation in FSX, doesn't meant to be official black box data
That’s what happens when you put idiots on the deck
There is a CCTV footage showing the plane crashing into the houses. The quality is not very good but the extended gear is clearly visible on that video. At some point the crew managed to get the gear down. A more likely scenario seems to be that they forgot about the gear during their rushed descent and tried to go around when they got the gear warning. Because they had very high sinkrate, it was simply too late arrest the descent and go around.
How the pilots made such basic mistakes is beyond comprehension. RIP to all who died in this totally avoidable tragedy
And why didn't the controller say anything? Was he not watching?
This is not beyond comprehension when we realize that there is a pilot scam going over there in Pakistan. Scam as in corruption, letting anyone fly, even the under qualified pilot like this idiot. You can google it. Pakistan Pilot Scam.
These are great productions. Thank you for entertaining us. 👏👏👏
This is the most disturbing act of WTF I've ever seen in my career
I don't know what was going in their heads
Career of what. Shut up.
You saying like your the boss
I don't give shit to die,that day
Questions;
Why pilot didn't declare emergency when landing gear was not working?
Because in his mind he was playing a hero, the king of the skies. It would have been too below him to admit his mistake or to ask for help.
Yeah, it's bugged me for so long... How can a pilot with over 17,000 flight hours not realize that the gears were not down?
@@auaisme i think he had fitige and was tired
Even if the pilot would declare an emergency what could have the passengers done
If pilot do Dat those ppl r in aeroplane so they will scared about this thats y our pilot is gr8 but he dies
That’s how not following procedures ends up like...
What u expect? It’s pakistani
@@matpauen7650 Dude pls, all are humans, their life also matters.
Think about the people in the plane, all were so happy to meet their loved ones

The ATC knew they were gonna crash, the first officer knew they were gonna crash, hell even the plane itself knew it was about to crash, however the Capt despite numerous warnings apparently was oblivious
Wow, very impressive how quickly you put this together & released it. RIP to all.
How is it that TH-cam monetizes your content on this subject and de-monetized my content on this exact same subject?! Is it because of channel verification? Great graphics! (that's a TON of work to produce). Thanks for posting. Juan.
They gave you no reason? The only thing I can think of is that you used footage that 'may' have copyright claims, but if no one tells you then how can you fix it? That sucks! Also Microsoft Flight Simulator is great for recreating these scenarios!
The video makes me feel that pilots did not follow the proper procedures, it would be interesting to see what the final report is. Isn't there an option to manually lower the gears ?
@@mickeyagrawal2001 yes. If the gear lever fails to extend the gears, you can use a manual lever to have gravity drop it down and if it doesnt lock Inti place they can sway the aircraft left and right until it locks into place
Love your channel Juan !
And your content is accurate Juan!, unlike the video here. The graphics are just from Microsoft Flight Simulator (perhaps with some addons)
If you wanted a collaboration for animation, I'd recommend contacting Allec Joshua Ibay, who seems to take more care with accuracy. I think his work may have spawned the idea for other channels like this one.
I'm an Indian. But I respect every people and their country. And I'm sad to hear about this incident.
You guys (Pakistanis and indians) are basically the same for the rest of the world. It's laughable that you hate each other
Watching the newest report of this flight makes it so much worse.
According to currently available data, the plane was too high when it started its approach and tried to land at too high speed, forgetting to set the landing gear down despite alarms...
The pilots' fault seems rather obvious. The black boxes have been found and will be analysed in France. It's likely that they will tell what's really happened.
Absolutely correct!
Watch his videos: th-cam.com/users/blancoliriovideos
The pilots tried to lower the landing gear, but they were simply too fast.
If you are above a certain speed the plane does not allow the landing gear to be deployed - you can hear the warning sound in the ATC radio tapes.
The pilots just ignored the warnings the plane was giving out...
Yes but it's obvious they had no control as the engine stopped working. It was finished. So they were at speed. No control so he tried his best. Stop blaming him. Let them rest in peace. may Allah grant them the highest ranks of jannah
@@bilqees786 No.
You are ignoring the given evidence, please get your information straight before continuing in this conversation.
@@bilqees786
If things went like it seems they did, the pilot is 100% to blame because of a too fast approach, forgetting to lower the landing gear and ignoring alarms.
Allah is not the best source for flight procedures...
"Can you push the autopilot button"
"yes sir"
"congratulations you're hired"
It was just an overconfidence which took lives of 97 ppl. Otherwise that pilot had 17,000 flying hrs on this back.
It feels like the pilot had zero situational awareness and probably didn't even recognize that the gear was not fully deployed, which is why nothing was communicated to the ground. Once the pilot realized he was scraping metal, his first instinct was to pull up. Once up, it's too little too late and the inevitable happens. This is the only logical scenario where all the events together make any sense at all.
But weren't there audible warnings before landing?

There is considerable missing information in this video.
The first approach, the aircraft was descending at almost 8000ft/min right up until established on the localiser. Only 2 minutes from touchdown the aircraft was STILL at 240kts. It touched down at 210kts, waaaay above the safe landing speed. The gear likely did not extend because they were simply flying too fast.
Not much an innocent passenger can do when the pilot (s) ignored speed warnings. 👿 What in the world? Anything after that is bound to be murder for passengers and suicide for pilot (s).
Why wasn't the copilot speaking out?👿
No,Landing Gears are down and working i have seen the real footage
@@urdu-poetry.786 Incorrect. There is no footage of the A320's first approach with landing gear extended. With ATC comms audio, the Landing Gear warning alarm can clearly be heard just prior touchdown. Further, there is footage of scrape marks on the runway that align with the A320's engines. Plus, the damage to the underside of the engines in the footage following the go-around clearly shows both engines had made contact with the runway.
With the accident report released, will you be editing this video with the new information? It's a very damning report for the pilots and the airline.
This scenario is making no sense. Lets wait for the official report rather then speculating
Me too can't believe, the pilots was ignoring the landing gear alarm.
It's not the first time, a plane was in situation like this.
1. make a deep turn around, for tower can check if landing gears are out or not by viewing, 2. If not, then land the plane without gears. This is a possible procedure.
This is pure speculation you need to comment after the preliminary report
This video only displays facts that have been confirmed by multiple sources. But not everything has been uncovered yet, so the creator said he will make a revised version once all the information becomes available.
I agree. What we saw here simply makes no sense.
I personally think that the pilot had suffered some type of medical emergency. In addition their seemed to be no input from the co-pilot.
I thing that the final report will reveal a far more complex story, possibly starting from the moment of takeoff..
I have just had a thought.
Bearing in mind that this video is a simulation and lack of gear was not mentioned in the early stages.
Could they have simply FORGOTTEN to lower the landing gear on their first approach.
This possibility makes a lot more sense.
The video was made on the ASSUMPTION that the pilots knew that the gear had not locked.
