I could watch these guys noodle round for hours, they're so charismatic without even trying and down to earth. I love seeing rockstars who are musicians first. There's nothing worse than a band who get too gets wrapped up in the idea of being rockstars and forget that they went into the industry to create art. So happy that Alter Bridge never forgot this and it's why they're the best active hard rock band today.
Jeremiah Staab Me too. Going to both Orlando gigs! 🤘😎🤘 BTW, Tremonti and Scott Phillips were both at the Slash show in Orlando. I met them at the bar on my way out and got pictures with both.
@@InsertNameHereCO i would say Myles is equally great, his lead playing is on another level. Hes one of those players that adds significantly to the music by doing as little as possible (most of the time) and for that reason he goes sorely unnoticed
@@austinmoser5056 I agree. The thing is they are both amazing. Especially when they have their guitar solo "battles" like miles can keep up with Mark 100%. Ao I'm definitely not saying miles is bad, he's great. But like I said its just something about Mark playing is greatness lol
Austin Moser Mark Tremonti and Slash have both said that Myles is the most diverse guitarist in both bands. He was a guitar instructor when Mark called him to join the band.
Axl might suck live but damn can he sing in the studio.... You know your voice chokes the shit out of it...when you scream for 3 hours every day...and specially the way axl does it
Tremonti looks badass, love his guitar talent, and Myles has the most amazing technical-savvy voice in the industry. Absolute insanity to combines these two.
@@MegaChorro123 Yeah because at the time I wasn't aware he was from Creed (I never listened to Creed) so at the Alter Bridge meet and greet I mentioned it was crazy he's from Creed, that's when he mentioned it
While they were both jamming Rock & Roll I fully expected Myles to start wailing, "It's been a long time..." Now I hv Zeppelin ear-worm... Not complaining.😊 Love Mark & Myles! Alter Bridge is an amazing band! ❤️ Fantastic, Loudwire!
Watching people doing what they love doing= me smiling for 7.5min. I'm excited to hear one of their new song on Thursday (hopefully that's what Thursday is all about)
Imagine Tremonti and John 5 came from the same Detroit suburb and are similar in age. Mark moved away before they likely started playing. But imagine that combo in a Detroit band?!
Please upload more Alter Bridge please. Way better than the majority of videos y’all put out. Some fact or fiction with Brain Marshall and Scott Phillips would be nice
We all (rightly) rave about the Blackbird solos as being 2 of the greatest guitar solos ever created but let's spare a moment to appreciate the heavy, dirty Blackbird riff which just slams into your face after the intro. Everything about that song is perfection.
Awesome to hear them discuss Blackbird, separately. Easily their magnum opus and one of the best songs birthed to Rock. If you haven’t heard it yet... what are you doing with your life!?!? 🤣 😂
I just hope that if Loudwire still exists in 25 years, there will be a rockband sitting there and playing the riff of blackbird on this format :D
Blackbird on Hello Kitty guitar :))
No, there won’t.
@@Victor-vx9nu fuck up
They played iconic riffs but their own ones sounded much better
I want to be in that band (?)
Blackbird is a overlooked modern hard rock classic. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like that song.
That song is a masterpiece. Lyrics, riffs and them solos back to back... gives me chills every time.
Corbin Dallas
One of the greatest songs of all time imo. Such an underrated classic
'Blackbird' is the hard rock ballad to end all hard rock ballads.
thats a good thing. dont want it to be played everywhere
Man, it is objectively the best song ever written
Blackbird is one of my favorite songs by alter bridge. That song is a masterpiece and the lyrics are so powerful
when i listen to blackbird i get a weird feeling, i get sad because i don't think i 'l hear something better in my life
@@janteo1 yo if you want more great music you should listen to altered state by tesseract, the whole album gives me goosebumps
Two of the best guitarists around telling stories how they picked up the guitar and fell in absolute love with it
Cheers to loudwire for having them
Abhradeep Guha I was gonna say the same thing
Well objectively speaking they are not among the best as of now but good for sure
There is only one guitarist there. The other dabbles.
@CrazyFish fan. Boy
@Jonathan Ahmad eeeeh no. Totally not.

Just saw Myles with slash a couple days ago in Orlando and I’m gonna see him with alter bridge at the same venue in October
Jeremiah Staab Me too. Going to both Orlando gigs! 🤘😎🤘 BTW, Tremonti and Scott Phillips were both at the Slash show in Orlando. I met them at the bar on my way out and got pictures with both.
Wearing my concert shirt when I seen them in Fort Wayne Indiana for around $40. That was a great deal.😎👍
Dude same
Jeremiah Staab where are they playing?
Michael Martin Hard Rock Cafe at universal studios Florida boardwalk
So Myles wrote that heavy ass riff in Wouldnt you Rather. Never would have guessed that, but thats awesome.
He also wrote the main riff of Island Of Fools. He is a riff machine as well
I believe it. Miles is a badass guitarist, but there's something about Mark Tremonti that makes him one of the greatest guitarists.

This duo is a national treasure!
I believe that Myles Kennedy is the best singer Slash has ever recorded with. The chemistry they have with the Conspirators is amazing.
no, thats Axl
Leandro Monteiro lololololol. Axl fucking sucks dude... Seriously?
EJT0002 Axl sings like a bag full of cats dude...
Axl might suck live but damn can he sing in the studio....

The best singer that Slash played with in my opinion was Rod Jackson from the second Snakepit Album he made in 2000.
Imagine having Scott Stapp and Myles Kennedy as your vocalist in the two bands you’ve ever been in. What a lucky guy 😂. Tremonti is a beast.
Utter joy right here
Your really cool
Rebecca you're so beautiful ❤️ wife material ☺️
Someone with good taste in music!
Surprising that Myles wrote the Wouldn't you rather, had Mark's fingerprints all over it! Lovely!
I'm sure some of Mark's playing has worn off on Myles. Those guys gel really well.
Agreed!
u shouldnt be... he is a beast and he used to be a guitar teacher... he also gave some lessons to slash if u can imagine that lol
pantokrator1988 I can. Slash is a creative beast and responsible for some of the coolest stuff in rock but not a master at technique.
That guitar solo though!! 🎸😍😍😍
I love these guys so much they're incredibly talented and highly underrated
Just finding this in 2024 !! Who still thinks Alter Bridge is the Best Band !!!
That riff Mark wrote for Creed's song, Bullets, was heavy af... What an awesome tune.
Bullets is such an underrated song. It's honestly amazing and one of my favorite all time songs.
I absolutely love Mark Tremonti's fingerpicked riffs.
These guys are legends, Alter Bridge is the best modern rock band imo
The moment you find out that With Arms Wide Open is Purple Rain 😂
Haha. Same here... 😁
Mark: This was the riff I wrote and thought "wow I can write songs."

The guitar “solo”at the end of blackbird is something truly amazing that gets me . Great song!!!!! These guys rock man
Alter bridge Blackbird riff is my go-to riff whenever i pick up a guitar 🎸
Watching you two sing/play 'Words darker than their wings' really is a gift...thank you.

Me too. I first heard Myles on the Sevendust record hope and Sorrow but didn't really know him. I learned about them through Slash

Myles has a voice of the 80s while his band plays rock/metal music. That's a great combination as far as I'm concerned.
Imagine Tremonti and John 5 came from the same Detroit suburb and are similar in age. Mark moved away before they likely started playing. But imagine that combo in a Detroit band?!
so glad there is no indication that Tremonti will ever start wearing circa 2006 paris hilton's sunglasses
Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy. Just legends

Mark Tremonti is a legend one helluva guitarist
Very underrated and underappreciated
For me, AlterBridge is my go to reference for what a 12/8 bar feels with Ties That Bind

It's amazing how well they play off of each other
2 of the greatest people. And arguably the best current era rock band. Seeing these guys in December and I cannot wait!
