Hi Natalie - apart from your amazing card making ideas, your art expertise, your use of products, and your lovely voice the music you infill your videos with is so very soothing. Where can I listen to more of this music? I can’t seem to find anything like it. x
i like the idea of cutting the Happy Birthday stamp! thats a good tip! another tip is putting some glue on the glass matt and putting the small things into the glue and then putting them on the card
You know what would also look cute? Adhering the back of some dots to a second piece of acetate and place that on top of the foam tape. It would look like a shaker with some of the confetti in perfect, permanent placement. 😬 Thank you for so many additional pretty DSP ideas!
Brilliant as usual Natalie, love the shaker idea as well as frame idea. I'm very good at armchair craft at mo but hopefully back on desk next week after 5 weeks. Looking fwd to it. Crafting in armchair isn't good for a budget 😂 I found so just as well. As it was medical, cheer me ups of crafty sort are good. I've not seen luscious powder here. Not that I NEED it 😂😂 Thanks again and God bless you.
You just have the best ideas every direction you turn. I learn something every time I watch your videos. Loved the different options for patterned paper. -Sarah
More inspiration, thank you. I spent half of last night die cutting from my DSP papers, butterflies, and hearts. Now all I need to do is make up some cards!! I love the corner embellished card the most and of course, you always need a little bit of gold somewhere! Thank you x
Very cute card! I have one crafty regret. When I started with papercrafting; I bought a ton of supplies that I never used before. One of those is embossing powder. It turns out that I only ever use the clear powder, and I have almost a dozen other colors that are sitting there. I just find they create a lot of grit all over my desk, even with containment attempts!😂 Another product that I regret is what I don't have. And that's the distressed oxides! I have enough archival inks and the entire collection of Stampin Up Reinkers that I use in small "spot" containers. I'm wondering if I should add a drop or two of glycerine to get the blending to smooth out more like the Oxides? .
If you're in a hurry or just want more noise in your shaker card, you can use cake/cookie sprinkles. Craft stores, grocery stores, and dollar stores all carry them.
Love the cards Natalie! When you cut items out of mirri/mirror card, how do you avoid getting the cut lines from marking the gold? As ever, TFS and have a great day. Hazel 👍💖
Thanks, Hazel! To avoid getting marks in the gold card, I just place a fresh piece of card/paper on top of the die and then run it through the die-cutting machine.
I can't stop binging your videos Natalie! Great ideas for cards, thank you, Ann❤
Glad you like them!
I was so happy to find 3 little jam jars yesterday 😄

The postage frames reminded me of retro crocheted squares made into a quilt, and that could be a twist on that card idea.
Fab idea, Jo! x

Seed beads are good for a bit of rattle too.
Great tip! Thanks. x
Sounds good! x
Sugary food sprinkles may attract pests and vermin, so be careful.
@@enelson3293 good point! I hadn't thought of it. Do you reckon that having it encased within a shaker might limit it, though?

The nesting die card looks like a quilt. I'm getting an idea.

What they all said 😂
Thanks, Gail! x
Where did you get your circle die?
These are the circle dies I use: amzn.eu/d/cJmRbf0, amzn.eu/d/9dK3Bld and www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1692068839/circles-panel-metal-cutting-die-for-card
You are really good at explaining and teaching! I appreciate that and the cards are beautiful!!!
