One design I use often is to put straps along one corner of the card front, usually bottom right, up about a third. Run it through an embossing folder. Put the semtiment/focal image on the border of patterned paper and white.
Thank you for clarifying to we from the US what A4 paper size is. I saw someone the other day meantion A2 paper as what the US would call for whatever she was using. Unless heavily into carmaking/scrapbooking, most of us in the US have no idea what A and B sizes mean. I have to leave myself notes all over of what those A/B sizes mean to me. As a quilter I always make pre-cuts and know do it with my paper. It makes it so much easier when you need something quick and at times when cutting pre-cuts whether fabric or paper, you may see something that inspires you and you can go ahead and make it right then and there. Thanks for the great ideas.
Fab idea Natalie. Need to get me some of those pouches. Have flowery envelope wallets but obviously can't see through them so not ideal! Fab ideas as usual and great idea for an evening to just die cut away! Xx
Thanks, Natalie! My scraps are small so these are very helpful. Bonus tip on using contrasting enamel dots or using them to emphasize the focal point is very helpful
Natalie, Another awesome video!! You have so many creative ideas!! I have a lot of pattern paper that I do not use and now I know what to do with it!! Thanks so much!!
Love these ideas! I often get my mojo back by mass cutting die shapes or sentiments. I haven't touched patterned paper in awhile, but I will now! Thanks so much! 🩷
I think doing simple things like mass die-cutting is a fab way to find your mojo again. It's creative but not mentally taxing, so it gives the old creative cogs a rest before setting them spinning again. x
I love the way you voice your thoughts as you work eg you began to randomly place enamel dots then decided to put two rows instead. Creative! Thanks Natalie. PS I sometimes have a die cutting session- flowers or balloons, they always come in. 0:15 0:15
Lovely cards, Natalie. I 'raided' The Works a few months ago and I have stacks of their Dsp paper. Some are quite subtle but others are a little 'in your face' but too good to ignore. I guess I am lazy and need to spend more time die-cutting them. Thanks for the inspiration as usual!
My pleasure! I really enjoy paper from the works. I find that die-cutting from bolder papers makes them a lot easier to use. They're a lot less in your face when they're small. x
Great ideas and beautiful cards . I also am inspired by your organization method - organization is a big problem for me. When you have a die cut session, how do you organize the results to easily find them again as they are needed? ( I love your channel )
Hello, thank you so very much for sharing your ideas. I love the way you store your scraps. I use to organize by colour but it did not work for me as I stored it in files and it became too bulky and kept falling out. I like the pouch idea, so I am going to try it again. Would you be kind to share the name of the “birthday” dies used. I don’t know the correct terminology and have been struggling to order it from my craft store. Do you call it “shadow dies” I.e the word and matching die is what I am seeking. Thanks. Andrea.
You are my new favorite content maker! Good practical tips!!
Aww! Thanks so much, Gail. x

Thanks! I usually sort them by type (eg flowers, tags, tickets, banners etc) and then store them in a box with compartments.
Hi Natalie I really like the shape of the heart dies-where are they from please?? x x

I will try!
