Some lovely ideas on how to use ribbon. I love the look of ribbon but am guilty of not using it! One way I have used it in the past is for iris folding, it gives a lovely effect and is quick and easy to do.
Ooooh. Ribbons galore. That’s something of which I have plenty, as I love fabric, yarn, etc., but have zero ability to sew, crochet, knit, etc. The dry-embossed ribbon is especially pretty, and I like the card with the teeny bit of silver ribbon in the corner behind your focal point best. I also like your horizontal ice-cream-bars design. That would be great for a summer birthday. Speaking of which, my director’s birthday is coming up next month….🤔 Thank you, Natalie, yet again! 💕
WOW! I have oodles and oodles of rolls of ribbon. A ridiculous amount truth be told. You have inspired me to make use of some of it. The sheen and dimension are impressive. No bows for this girl so now you have given me many terrific ideas. Thank you, Natalie.

Such a lot of great ideas Natalie. It took me ages to watch, because I had many interruptions and had to keep restarting. I’ve got masses of ribbon, because I went through a phase of sticking a bow on every card, and bought tons of the stuff. I really went off it, and use it up now for wrapping Christmas presents. I’ll have to have a think about using a bit on my cards again now!

I was sorry to see you toss that bit of embossed ribbon cardstock into the trash. I would have used it either as an accent on another card or behind a die cut/punched opening like you did with the woven ribbon panel. At any rate, these are wonderful techniques, & I love your finished cards. You've inspired me to get out my ribbon & washi tape and USE them! Thank you for sharing. Lots of brilliant inspiration and so many lovely cards from 1 little pack of ribbon, I guess that means I'll be making 100's of cards since my ribbon stash is a lot bigger than 1 pack and fills a large biscuit tin!!

I use an old curling tong to ‘iron’ my ribbons before I use them, it’s so quick and easy too xxx 😊
