    Ohh boy, I've been waiting for this for quite some time.
    This is the Steam Deck by Valve. You might have played games on your PC via steam. The Steam Deck does the same but portably. I can't wait to check it out, so let's get unboxing.

      The 64 G drive is slower but replacement drives are full speed./ Every button and control can be programed with mamy options like no other device. Frame caps along with Refresh adjustments can improve gameplay as well as TDP limits which extends battery run time. Many games can be played at 8 watts and $40 FPS 40 Refresh . The support by Valve and the community makes this a standout. A mini hub can allow an external M.2 drive to be added and kits allow cliping to the back or even vwith elcro When a boot MGR is available dual boot options will add to thge versatility

      I don't think so, as it's not officialy available in India there's no warranty. You might have to repair it yourself.

      No warranty at present in India as it is not officially released. You might be able to import spare parts.

    Valve is loosing by not launching this in India. I know many Indian players who have hundreds of games in library and would pay anything if it's available on steam. Since it's not officially launched in India which means no customer support, which is why people avoid getting it. Hope Gabe changes his mind and bless us with Steamdeck in India.

      Yeah, I'm surprised why they're not releasing the steam deck officialy in India. The Rog ally is releasing on the 12th of this month at a starting price of Rs 69,990.

    quick tip, in case you didn't know.... In settings>downloads change the kbps limit to your internet bandwidth for faster downloads... My internet download is 300 mbps so i changed it to 300000 and get waaaaaaaaay better speeds. It still wont go over the steam decks or the sd cards read write speeds but it is way better.

      I'm using the hb400 by artis. It doesn't seem to be available on Amazon anymore. It has a USB-C port which allows for passthrough charging. Not sure when it will be available again, but here's one from another brand which supports pass through charging too.

    It would be stupid to play AAA games on steam deck. Trying once in a while is okay and doing some dailies in games like WOW and Destiny 2 would be really nice in this , I would say a moderatly resource intensive games like Project zomboid, Hades and Katana Zero type games would be Ideal to run in a steam deck its portable can run almost any emulators possiblilites looks endless.

    • @TalkingstuffNet
      @TalkingstuffNet  ปีที่แล้ว

      It would initialize with the version of steam os on the deck, if it gets access to internet it will update to the latest version. You can play without the internet once you download the games onto the device, your hotspot might be enough to login th first time. But internet is recommended.

    • @TalkingstuffNet
      @TalkingstuffNet  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 256 gb is similar in specs to the 64 gb version except for storage and some steam software badges etc. I will be upgrading the storage in future, as I don't have warranty anyway this being an imported version. 🙂 The micro sd card is not slow in any way, so 64 gb + microsd card is still cost effective.

    • @TalkingstuffNet
      @TalkingstuffNet  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nvme drives are much cheaper than the difference in costs between the various versions. I'll be updating the nvme drive within, in future, but the micro-sd card loads fast enough too. Where are you purchasing the steam deck? If you have warranty then go with the bigger model instead.

    I heard that steam deck doesn't charge with the original charger here in india, as the charger is usa one, so do we have to buy a 45w separate charger?

    • @TalkingstuffNet
      @TalkingstuffNet  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It works perfectly, the problem some people have are the prongs being flat and not round as required in India. As my outlets can take both types of plugs had no problem. Worst case you need an adapter and not a new charger.

      @@TalkingstuffNet ahhh okay understandable. I actually thought of buying the rog ally as it seems extremely good, but then I realised I just got the steam deck exactly 3 months back. I still might get it, and depending whether I like it or not, I might keep it and sell the deck or return the ally and make do with the deck 🙂

    • @Torobuck
      @Torobuck ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TalkingstuffNetupdate on the rog ally: I got it, and to be honest I think it's amazing, but i still feel it's not worthy of an upgrade. If you have the steam deck, stick with it. The ally may have the same performance as a GTX 1650 which is insane, and might be worth upgrading only if you play AAA games, but as I only play indie games, I usually don't see a big upgrade. Also windows is a pain in the ass tbh, it's just not working sometimes and when I'm doing something, the cpu usage will be extremely high for no reason. And the setup process was so tiresome, it took about two days or so to fully setup my rog ally including updates, drivers and all that jazz. It's also not very comfortable to hold when compared to the deck, and the battery life is not good. I get about 3.5 to 4 hours on Indie games on the deck, while the rog ally lasts about 1.5 hours. Probably because of the high wattage consumption.

    • @Torobuck
      @Torobuck ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keep in mind, I bought the steam deck 64gb from the United States (Steam sale at $360) at the price of only 29k rupees in the United States. And managed to buy the 512gb SSD which was around 3k rupees or so. So I paid around 32k for a 512gb steam deck. The us price for the ally is 60k, so it's like paying almost double.

    • @Torobuck
      @Torobuck ปีที่แล้ว

      Okay I'll stop talking so much now lol, but overall, I have decided that I am going to send back the rog ally as the steam deck is more than enough for me.

      All you need is either a plug converter that can accept flat pins or a surge protector, the charger works as is and no extra "power converter" is required.
