Personally I wouldn't have added gas keep product more concentrated and you could have added the gas after it went through the system not much harm can be done if you did it that way! I don't even know why people buy catalytic converters when you can actually sit there take off the catalytic converter and clean it with any cleaner like dawn and water you cant harm your catalytic converter more than it is! then when the carbon comes out lighter and lighter then you take a leaf blower or compressed air spray the spray it down the catalytic converter and you should be done! can't be that hard to clean off carbon off of platinum its like cleaning jewelry! I've done this and made people happy they dont have to go to the dealer in New York to spend top dollar for something so simple! Food for thought! And you could have helped yourself out by change the down sensor before rescanning it!Tell me if you like my comment!

On Duralube's site the directions are as follows:
"Directions: Add full bottle into 16 gals (60 liters) of fuel or 1 oz. per gallon of fuel (30 mL per 3.8 L). For Severe cases an entire bottle can be added to your gasoline fuel tank, make sure fuel tank is at least 1/4 tank or greater."
So it seems like they're saying it's fine to go possibly up to double their recommended ratio. Is there any reason why you wouldn't just always do that? Maybe run your car down to half a tank and use the whole bottle?
    They also say:
"Recommend Usage: Use once every 3 months for optimal performance. Results vary on driving amounts and engine conditions."
So you might have to use it often to keep your CEL off.

Just an FYI for people looking to use this product it is extremely temporary. The best way to use it is to reset ECU and immediately begin doing your vehicles specific drive cycle (look it up) to get the monitors to clear and take it in for smog. I barely made it in my old civic, I got around 60 miles and that was just enough to follow Honda's drive cycle to the T and smog it, came on a few miles down the road from the shop.

@@bigboicreme possibly just one of those things of sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. If it's that bad where it's causing drivability issues you unfortunately might need to do it by hand. if the honey comb is actually melted then it's game over you'll need to replace it 100% if its excessive carbon you may get lucky.
