How to - Audi TT 8j 2.0 TFSi *BWA Engine* - Spark Plugs change

  • This video should help you change the spark in Audi TT mk2 8j, 2 L engine.
    I tried to film every detail and explain how to do it properly, hope it helps!
    The whole job took me 30 mins to do, so it is very easy!
    Tools needed:
    Torx 25,30
    Spark plug socket (16mm) + extension + wrench
    Big flat head screw driver
    Clamp pliers
    Paper towel
    Make sure to order new spark plugs for BWA engine model if you own bwa engine!

    But you forgot to mention taking the screws out from the front wiring harness at the beginning of the video, you did mention putting them back though at the end.

      happychappychappy you are right, since at that moment i didnt even know there were supposed to be screws there. Mine were missing🙈

    Good video but you need to torque them to 30nm while engine is cold

      Depends on the plug it’ll say on the box

      @MarcoElkes hehe, usually I follow service manuals from audi. But in most cases the box gives the same torque spec :)

      30 Nm according to service manual ;)

      Hey Carl, depending on where you are in the world, I would start with Amazon, or Home Depot or any store that sells tools ;)

      BtwWtf yes all ready looked. Reason I asked as lots of cheap ones on amazon, want to get a quality one that won’t fail me.

      I would suggest that if you don't know where to purchase this very common socket, you should not touch your car.
