Wow, incredible piece! Loneliness such an important topic - thanks so much for spotlighting it! Also, having gone to many Skip the Small Talk events myself, I can say they’re awesome! Not just for the conversations there but also the conversations I have after the events- somehow telling friends that I went to an event called Skip the Small Talk seem to always prompt us to go into a much deeper, more connection conversation.
Loneliness is such an important topic that doesn't get talked about nearly enough. It spans across all age groups, religions, income, etc. thank you for shedding light on a topic so many people deal with but don't necessarily talk about 💕
Also would love to get involved with community theater as a way to enjoy self-expression while also getting to meet people in my community. Great ways to connect, just have to find the right fit for you.
