- Here we have a complete walkthrough of all of the Terminal gates at Philadelphia International Airport as seen on Saturday 11/28/20 the first Saturday after Thanksgiving 2020. Our walk begins at Concourse A and ends at Concourse F. Philadelphia International Airport is a great place to fly in and out of and is a major focus city for American Airlines.
The media seems to be portraying that scores of people are traveling for the Thanksgiving Holiday yet, here I am at what should be one of the busiest airports in the United States and I can’t seem to find the crowds of passengers they are speaking about. COVID19 seems to have taken a toll on air travel
It's a huge airport. I remember this airport when I made a connecting flight to Paris back in 2017.

PHL really is huge, I have flown in and out of PHL for many years and have watched it’s transformation since the 70’s as a kid all the way to today and it is now a great World Class Airport. I didn’t quite realize how much walking and time this was to go from one end to the other until I made it from the A gates to the F gates but it was a fun undertaking. I was really surprised at the lack of passengers along the way and that many of the businesses in the terminals were still closed, I hope we will see better times ahead. All the best!!!
The fire alarm system there is also pretty interesting. They have a whole variety of Wheelock and Simplex alarms.

Philly is really a great airport, over the years it sure has changed and grown to meet the needs a lot of travelers while still holding on to some of the Philadelphia roots before the expansion projects. I’m so glad that you could enjoy many great memories from there and with family also, I think building memories is one of the reason I started my channel, not so much that I have a place to share my own memories but rather that others might be able to have a chance to rekindle memories they might have while also allowing people to view this for example as a chance to familiarize themselves with things to see and do while traveling. how far is term A to Term F? I mean how ling does it takes?
I ate at the Earl of Sandwich here before leaving for my flight to Atlanta a little over a year ago. It looked closed in the video. I hope it's not permanent.
Yes indeed, on this particular day departing PHL a good number of shops and eating places were closed and the number of passengers at the time seemed to be very little so I’m hoping that since this was made that things have improved. PHL is a great airport with a lot of great places to eat and shop so seeing so much shutdown was a real disappointment. Thank you for watching!
I work there...everything is slowly opening back up since more ppl are traveling again...and Earl of Sandwich just reopened recently
They're currently updating their master plan with a goal to have everything done by 2040. From what they're saying they're not focused on the runways but they're making significant changes to the entire terminal complex. Based on the info they provide in their video it seems like they're going to convert it into a central/satellite terminal config which makes a lot of sense given they mention how the terminals have outdated designs that can't be modified and that they would like dual taxiways between the concourses. Pretty interesting stuff actually

Fastest way from C29 to F32? A real question.
There is a free shuttle that still should run from Gate C-16 and runs along the inner ramp area over to the F Gates dropping off at around Gate F-14 if it still picks up and drops off at the same pick up and drop off points. It is free and saves a ton of walking, it probably would be good to check your airlines terminal maps on the web or the website for PHL just in case there have been any changes. Best of luck!

I don’t use The C Gates at PHL for parking but I know the last time I was in PHL the Terminal Connector Busses were running and PHL had a lot of changes in the works and I’m certain a Gate Agent can also head you in the right direction if there have been any changes since I was there last.
Question going to term c to term A , does the shuttle do a loop of the terms ,or what could you advise please 😮

There’s a daily service from PHL on the a350 with Qatar airlines. 2017 was the first time I ever saw the Qatar a350.

It's a piece of crap airport. In the B arrivals section the restrooms are closed and need to walk to the C arrivals restroom. There are no security cameras in any the the short term parking lots. A policeman was shot a killed trying to stop a carjacking in short term parking. Constant solicitation for rides in each terminal which is illegal. Passenger cars constantly park on the pedestrian crosswalks which is also illegal. The cops are a joke down there. Constant speeding from cars going through the arrivals lane to exit the terminal. Like I said it's a joke.
