Neat camera and material! This might have been covered but a friendly tip, the color space is "Linear", which means the color and luminance mapping is effectively compacted. In the future, if you play around to transform the linear to log, your tonality will smooth dramatically in its gradation across your IRE scale. Thank you 😇
Can you buy this camera?
Possibly if it shows up on eBay or elsewhere, but they are not currently for sale new.
So all of this "special" image we are seeing is just a film simulation?
What do you mean?
@@BlaineWestropp1 In your editing it seems like you are applying a film simulation or something similar with that dehancer plugin, is that not the case?
Mystery Lens: Laowa Probe Lens. Once again, can't get past me
Guess again!
Soooo whats the price? Asking for a friend
Lol you and I asking the same question. I kind of want one. No idea the price.
Man you’re spamming my TH-cam with quality content, please stop! 😂
Thank you, I’m following now! Keep up the work, I have a feeling this could get big!

Sheeeesh - love this
Love it. I want to shoot something with it.
I remember at one point when I wanted one of these cameras
I want one now!
Wow, beautiful look
Such a cool camera.
@@BlaineWestropp1 yep
I have PTSD from using this camera… love the images though. Feels like a toxic relationship, haha.
there are definitely some quirks. I do like it though. once I got this one going I felt I had a smooth experience.
so this whole time, we could have had up to 2k raw with CCD sensors instead of dealing with Red patent trolling.
It is slightly more complicated to work with it, so I can see why it’s not commonplace, but it is really dope and I like it and the footage looks great.
@@BlaineWestropp1 hope you get to try the Rolex d16 as well
oh man am trying get my hand on one since the beginning if they are selling i will buy it :)
I dont think they are selling but you can definitely rent one if you can find one. if youre near NYC I can connect you
Could you share the raw footage with me please🥺🥺🥺
I can. Email me!
CRAAAZZZY !!!
I’m going to shoot with this one again. I love it.
Did that MacBook Air come with the camera? Lol

@@BlaineWestropp1 I knew it! Those stickers told a story lol

love it!
why is it like $7-12k 😭
😭
This camera looks like what Ai think a camera like 😅
You’re not wrong! This is one of the things that drew me to it. Also, the simplicity of use.. 👌
i used that camera once for a colonoscopy
I bet you loved the feeling!
lemonade
:)
Global shutter!
Yuuup!
I like the grade and my good man
thank you 🙂
i need it
lol me too. I love it.
So... why was it special, again?
I think you’re at the wrong spot on TH-cam. The TH-cam Kids app might be better suited for you. 😅
The CCD sensor is special, it’s a rare camera, different style of shooting. I like it bc it reminds me of shooting on a film SLR and making it happen in the dark room.
Who is this guy? Kinda cute 😅
❤️😇
I found one 6000 eu€
buy it?!
Loved that camera…
still love it. going to get it again.
@@BlaineWestropp1Nice! I always wanted to get my hands on it but at the time I had put a deposit down on a sub #100 RED One. Have fun with it, I’ll look through your channel and see if you have more videos on it, enjoy. 🔥🙌🏼
