This movie made most people outraged and disappointed. And that is exactly what you should feel.
That's what Morpheus, Neo, Trinity etc felt when they realised everything they believed was a lie. Those feelings are natural and frankly, they are the whole point of the story.

The rest was all just weird spiritual talk that i wanted to just end. Now that im older and more seasoned, i realize that these were extremely deep philosophical spiritual movies that where trying to convey to the audience an underlying message of the possibility that the world we live in may not necessarily be what we think it is. As i got older, I starting to think "What if" instead of saying "Whatever". Another movie that was trying to show this is They Live(1988) by john carpenter. @@seven92023 it wasn't entirely his choice. The oracle said trinity would fall in love with the one, manipulating her to automatically fall in love with him because it is part of the fake prophecy. She wasn't destined to fall in love with him. That was set up by the oracle. Then, she used that love for trinity to manipulate Neo to so called "choose" saving trinity's life instead of going along with the plan set by the architect, so all the "choices" that Neo made were highly controlled by both the architect and the oracle. So there really wasn't a whole lot of "choices" going on. It was all a controlled environment with the illusion of choice. Which is exactly what the merivingian explained to them, and honestly, I would agree with the merivingian that choice is merely an illusion, with the reality being cause and effect. So I would have to disagree with you my boy.

She used morphius and trinitys faith in her and their faith in the prophecy to manipulate them into believing it is a done deal already, that they would fall in love. If the prophecy was a lie, then trinity falling in love with the one was a lie also. So no choices there. At least not 100 percent their choice.

@@seven92023 and then when they got to the point where they had to drive to the machine city and make a deal with ex machina, at that point, they were just improvising and doing the best they could with what the situation allowed them to do. I think that was the only real choice that Neo made because he was thinking on his feet. Also smith taking over the world was a monkey wrench in the system that was out of both the architect and the oracles control. Unless we find out in the next movie that's about to come out, that smith taking over was also part of the plan as well, but I doubt that will happen. Who knows though? That's why I LOVE these movies. They are fucking incredible and can be thought about for the rest of eternity, with so many alternate theories. There is so much philosophical things these movies covers, it saddens me that general movie goers consider Reloaded and Revolutions a bust. Honestly, the Wachowksi's took this series on a whole new level by layering it with sub versions. My ultimate "Take" on the Trilogy as a whole is summed up perfectly when the Oracle speaks through agent Smith "Everything that has a beginning has an End." It ultimately sums up, that to be and to exist, is to realize whether fate, destiny, prophecy, free will, or chance, whatever choice you make; what ultimately matters is what you choose to do because nothing lasts forever. Even machines are capable of change...

When you consider that she undermined the architect by molding the entire plot and putting into motion everything Neo was confronted with, all in a bid to achieve a peaceful outcome... it really starts racking your brain when you wonder: Did Neo really have a choice?
If you consider that the Oracle confirms this at the very end of Revolutions when her and the architect meet, he specifically points out her true motivations. That because she was a program, just as much as any machine, she came to learn empathy and faith from Humanity, and also learned how to exploit it....

So I brought her up here, because this video stated that Neos specific love for Trinity was "unexpected" by the Architect, which was not the case. It was by the Oracle's design. Yes, she says Neo made a believer out of her, that's not the risk they're discussing at the end of Revolutions. The Architect knows the one will reach him, no matter how difficult the journey is, he's already come to understand that fact & tells Neo clearly that the machines are not completely dependent on humans. The real gamble the Oracle took, was empowering Smith to balance the equation once Neo leaves the Architect, because Neo was the first iteration to give her the opportunity to do so. Prior to that the Oracle was totally cool with leading Zion to a cycle of controlled destruction. How's that for baking noodles?

She wanted its redemption. She was able to see humanity in its individualist nature, where the Architect, dear old Dad, saw humanity as fundamentally the same as the machine construct-a collective. The great flaw of existentialism was suggesting we could create our own meaning, as if reality will change to fit whatever we want. But it doesn't. If I want to jump into the sky and become a bird, I can want to all I want, it doesn't happen. There is already a fixed, objective meaning in the world, it's up to me to find it, not invent it

That MOVIE is Half True, and Half LIES. I will explain.
While is TRUE that men has POWER that He only can exercises IF HE IS ABLE TO MASTERING HIMSELF, on the other hand the Violence and Bad Information that ended up making men feeling as VICTIMS, is JUST EXACTLY what the MATRIX want.
I will say, because of that Movie, Violence and miss information has increased all this years.
Man has the tendency of waiting for a Hero out of his power in order to fight his battle. Religious and Governess (The Matrix?) has a lot to do with it. And they must be LAUGHING about all of those that in ignorance were waiting for TRUMP (the supposed Hero) to FIX the mess.
Einstein was Right: “YOU CAN NOT FIX A PROBLEM WITH THE SAME MIND THAT HAS CREATED IT.
Also is TRUE that, IF YOU WANT TO FIX THE WORLD, you MUST start by yourself.
If you keeps pushing on things that are not under your Control, -by Universal LAWS- thing will ends up getting CRAZY and CRAZY.
Everybody knows about Quantum PHYSICS. “THE EYE OF THE OBSERVER MAKE THE DIFFERENCE” whatever you focus on, you Create more and more.
When man main FOCUS is MASTERING HIMSELF and his Emotions, HE Starts taking Dominium of his Own behaviors, IMPROVING GOOD INTENTIONS, passing on Violence and Criticisms, then man becomes THE CREATOR and POWERFUL BEING HE IS. Otherwise he will never be able to SCAPE of his OWN MATRIX.
Take care of yourself, taking care of your feelings.
If you feel angry, or lied, or the need for fitting or pushing against something , that Increase your RESISTANCE making you feel AUTOMATICALLY DISEMPOWERED.
If instead, you care about SELF DEVELOPMENT, having a nice family, a great BUSINESS, you must take care of yourself FIRST, promoting in your life GOOD FEELINGS.
    WAKE UP. WAKE UP.
If you REALLY go in side and Meditate in Regular Basics, no man will be able to lie to you, BUT THEN you have to be SMARTER, you will NOT fall on its TRAPS or FIGHTING for anything…. for LAW they are SELF DESTROYING THEMSELVES, you will be able to see thought the veil of ILLUSION, NO TRUMP will be able to foolish you ever. 👊✨💫
    Then you’ll BECOME UNSTOPPABLE 👨.

Neo wasn't The One. Even the Oracle said as much.
Everyone thinks he is. But in truth, Smith is The One.

The singular variable that forced a change was Agent Smith.

The essential Meaning of the MATRIX trilogy:
There is NO central authority that can confer ultimate meaning on our existence. The purpose we CHOOSE for ourselves is simply what we in our heats feel is right. Unless that choice is harmful for other individuals. Acknowledging the lack of an external source of meaning and after overcoming the crisis of that loss, embracing the opportunity to create meaning and values in your own life! The act of continuing to fight rather than the ability to win.

  • @ahbrahal-benhadiel

The love affair between Trinity and Neo was not an unexpected twist but the main point of the whole movie.
The matrix was just a backdrop and venue from which the story was played out. It could have been any setting and the main plot and outcome would have been the same. The story opens with the hint of attraction between the two when Cypher says to her, "you like him, don't you? You like watching him" and ends with the kiss that cements the eternal between the Trinity and the One.

Has any body seen the review that chris stuckman made of this sequels? This take and analysis that The Take makes is the antithesis of that review and shows you to perfection how a blue and red pill in the TH-cam world thinks and the reviews and analysis you can get from them. The Stuckman review shows you how a blue pill individual (egocentric youtuber) thinks, acts and talks about this films just because it didn’t live to his expectation and just sh”t on them and who Ever that goes deep in to this sequels and thinks they are deep, smart and wise are wrong, just coming across as people that are over thinking this films to hide the fact that they are just bad movies just because he say so and just because for him they are just bad films trying to be smart and are not worthy of being sequels of the legendary “the matrix”. The review by the Take captures to perfection how a group of red pills ladies are just trying to take you in to the rabbit hole to transcendent the blockbuster experience of this films and to evolve the knowledge you can learn from them, instead of sh’t on them even if they don’t agree with elements on them, they just want to show you the path so you can walk thru it and make up your own mind about them instead of just imposing a percepción that if you don’t agree you are wrong. Again thank you The Take, you are pretty cool groove cats ✌️😏

Some stories are best left unheard, but what follows must be told, for it could free your mind, from the prison you were born in. My only hope is that one day mankind will have the world I see in my dream, a world without borders or boundaries without rules and controls, a world that is free.
I was a man just like you, except for a few differences, like the fact that I lived alone, I guess on account of the fact, that that in the most part is how a computer hacker lives. For those of you who don’t truly understand what a computer hacker is, it will do you well to run a search for Eric Raymond.
In the year of 1999, I was conducting a search of my own, trying hard, by searching the net, wide and deep, for a Black hat Hacker called Morpheus, who I believed held the key to my dream. At the time I was renting a room in a house, belonging to some old English women. My land lady and I never spoke much, only exchanging the odd pleasantry’s, when I paid my rent, or helped her carry out her garbage.
    Image
On the door to my room, I had fitted the numbers one zero one, just a small reflection of me, a binary for the number 5, five being the one dot in four dots, which was a feeling I felt, like a prisoner in the world. Also five being the number of dots, in the glider a hacker emblem. And 101 being the room you had your mind cleared in the famous George Orwell 1984 book, which coincidentally he had written in 1948.

The 2nd film was unpopular because it wasn’t a heroes journey anymore. It asks for much more thought from the viewer. I think the Wachowski’s would have anticipated that but they didn’t care.
Also, the Architect scene was very hard to understand on the first viewing.
The first movie is about fulfilled expectations, the second movie is about subverting expectations. It says reality is a lie, then asks you what you want to do about it. It’s inherently unsatisfying on the level that the first movie was satisfying.

this movie destroys the plot of matrix. if neo was needed by the machines, why were the agents trying to kill him? why would the sentinels attack the ship? the sentinels almost killed everyone in matrix 1. very incoherent story telling. agents were never told of the One? they know where zion is (destroyed 6 times) why kidnap morpheus to torture him? this sequel DESTROYS the plot of matrix 1. plot hole reloaded

Who knows what youtube video about the matrix theorises about the color of the shirts they wear in zion? I saw it a while ago, can't find it anymore. The reviewer said if i remember correctly that the blue shirts (trinity, neo and so on) are programs and red shirts (morpheus, niobe and mifune) are humans.
It was linked to the blue and red pill, like color coding.
    Someone please help me.

There's nothing to suggest that the machines actually did destroy Zion 6 times. I always saw this scene as the architect attempting to deceive Neo.
The problem with the Matrix as the series goes on is that the people in the Matrix are no longer people. The idea of rogue programs reminds me of Tron, but it doesn't necessarily fit into the Matrix, or at least the original storyline.
The first movie is definitely the best, because it is so open ended, and it allows the viewer to imagine the possibilities. The story arc is definitely traditional, and satisfying.
The sequels basically subvert Neo's all powerful abilities, and it doesn't exactly fit the original storyline. However, they managed to alter the situation, and give Neo new powers outside of the Matrix, which definitely carries an even more religious connotation.
I liked the movies, but I would say that the original is in a different league than the sequels. It makes me wonder if I would like the newest addition coming out in a few weeks.

The fact that the machine war was only 100 years long and all the version of Neo on Architect's tv suggests there were other previous versions. "Everything that has a beginning, has an end." The one years ago beginning suggests that the previous versions did indeed end.

@@ahbrahal-benhadiel I disagree. Those monitors were in the matrix (they were illusions), just like the architect, who isn't an actual person, but a program.
The matrix is very similar to the original Tron movie, in that programs are anthropomorphized (or manifested) as actual people.
It was definitely a deception, as revealed later, when Neo disobeyed, and Zion wasn't extinguished.

@@grantmccoy6739 Oh yeah I agree that the whole shpiel by the architect was just a ploy to convince Neo to continue the matrix. I was commenting from a spiritual angle. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
