Lived there for a couple years in the mid 90s. Was heavily into mtn. biking back then and the trails were vast. Mission Beach and Pacific Beach were a couple favorite hang-outs as well. Fun city! Great weather!
This city looks so clean and stylish. The red color roofs remind me thinking about spanish architecture. And the cheetah run in the zoo is so fun to watch. I know they used to have pandas there, and one is called GaoGao who is 37 years old who returned to China already, and I bet GaoGao misses the zoo. And I think the white color church is stunning, having a great contrast with traditional stone ones. This city looks so peaceful since it does not have many tall buildings which is a pro in my view. I definitely want to travel there some day and also with LA. 😊
Another great addition to your ever growing collection! I would love to visit San Diego someday. I know that 500 foot limitation really hampers the skyline, but the architecture really is top notch on the ones that are there. As I watched your video I thought, A…aircraft carrier museum, B…Balboa Park, C…Coronado Beach…wow! I thinkSan Diego could fill the entire alphabet with fine attractions! I really like P…Petco Park and M…the Mormon Church building as well. And of course Z…San Diego ZOO. Thanks for continuing the series. Now on to your Top 10 State Capital Buildings! David in Houston. 😎⭐️🥇🏆♥️
…such a picturesque city with a variety of neighborhoods and small towns around it. Having spent many a summers here and even with my Father’s side of the family all over the area from Ocean Beach, Golden Hill, Cardiff but most are in Rancho Santa Fe, I just couldn’t get into the city’s groove. I even got a condo in downtown back in 1998 but ended up renting it out and moving to Mercer Island in Seattle. The condo is still rented out and now I’m back in my old hood in Atherton in Grandma’s old house.
If I were to move to the US I think San Diego would be the place I would like to live. I stayed there 20 years ago and it was amazing and coronado was awesome, we got to watch the marines doing drills on the beach.

My very young Navy family spent several years there…it was a much smaller, quieter place than today’s major city. For a transplanted New Englander…it was like being transported to a strange, sunny planet.
That America finest city saying is BS. I’ve never liked the city that much. It’s defently not the worst in the country, but it’s very far from the best

“America’s finest city” 🪦
San Diego is declining fast. 😞

Not a fan of San Diego
I was with you until the shout out (paid sponsorship?) to Seaworld. Nah, sir. We don’t support cruelty to living beings and that place ain’t it.
You mention Old Town but not The Whaley House? Obviously you know nothing about San Diego other than what you read on wikipedia. `
Been to the Whaley house once. No reason to go back
Sausage fest USA.
15 miles from Mexico and decent Chili Relleno is nowhere to be found……..
