We have the exact same dryer .like you, .had the belt go out first and then 5 years later the power cube burnt out just as you said ..spot on! Thank you!
TY. This is probably exactly what’s wrong with my he5. The tension on the belts is also to tight. Going to check into that as well while I have it all opened up. Thanks again. 😊
That was an awesome video 👍🏻,I did exactly what you said, but I got the part off eBay for 40 bucks since they were out of stock in Amazon. Thanks a lot, you saved me a lot of money and time.
did the light insider the dryer come on when the panel wasn't working? that's my scenario. another video suggested the thermal fuse but that checks out with the ohm meter.
The standard for most manufacturers to date is to just default to board replacement ..a costly endeavor for the tech and customer ..a developed troubleshooting technique pays off bigly in these types of situations ..get your meter out and use some common sense ..a logic circuit always needs a b+ voltage to operate ..good luck to all ..
got the same problem but changing out the cube had the same results. do i really have to buy another one again just to see if both mine are duds or if its a different problem
Thank you for this video! Exact same "no power" problem happened to neighbors unit and repair guy said uneconomical to fix due to needing to replace "main control boards" After watching your video, I replaced the same power board with a 5v 4a power brick i had laying around and unit is back in operation! Post a crypto address and I'll gladly send you some btc, eth, ada etc as a thank you.

Does this dryer have a thermal fuse? I have the same issue. The light in the drum turns on but the rest of the machine is dead.
Can you send me a link where you got the part? Its saying its no longer available.
The link in the original video is where I got it from. Your best bet is to search the part number and see if you find a result.

I have power with no amp reader do you think I still change that
If you follow the vid and with the 5V cords disconnected you're getting 0V output on the 5V pins, then I'd definitely say replace the power cube.
You did help bro thanks
