    So great to see an objective review, even though he's in business with mandarin duck, he told us exactly what this bow is like. 👍

    I highly recommend you try a Bear Super Mag 48 bow. it is a lot smaller and compact. A lot more pricey, but try the left handed one, and see what it does for you. I still look forward to trying an horse bow though.

    Oh, man, you got me with the first 10 seconds already. Finally someone who had the very same idea :D A BIG *high five* for using the left handed bow in the right hand -> shooting on the right side of the bow while thumb draw. 5/5
    I had this on my mind for weeks now and was checking out Black Hunter reviews only to check if the left handed raiser's grip is ergonomically suited to be held in the right hand. You're my man, haha

    Thanks for this review. I'm judging bows really simply - if it's not ambidexterous = it's not for me. I really love how hunter-style bows looks and that you can fold them and put to backpack but being stuck with one side shooting is not for me.

    Joel Turner from Shot IQ is one of the most famous archer that shoots from the right side with a left handed recurve bow. One thing to note with pistol grips like the one you just use is that with western archery you dont grip the bow very tight like asiatic archery, you should hold them very loose much like an olympic archer would. Another thing is because you hold the bow with the left hand instead of the right given that the shape of the riser is meant for the right hand, it is understandable that it would be painful to hold after a period of time.

      @CharliesRunningArchery  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure, you are right. The grip is for the other hand. But even thought this fact it’s very beefy. Smaller hands will struggle.

      @@CharliesRunningArchery good review by the way. not many content on youtube exactly on this type of shooting for a western bow. keep doing what you're doing.

      @@CharliesRunningArchery I have small hands and own the Black Hunter. If you shoot the bow as it is meant for, the grip is super compfortable

    I think you've been a little unfair to this bow... firstly it's not designed to be used as a running bow .... its heavy and too long for running around with, stand still with it and its good. Secondly you got a left hand bow, but these bows are side specific... your bow is designed to be held in the RIGHT hand not the left . I know you got the left hander so you could use Slavic release, but its the wrong hand. Think of it as deliberately wearing your shoes on the wrong feet, you can do it but its very uncomfortable. Lastly its a centre shot bow, khatra is pointless, there should be almost no paradox.
    Archery has come from many places and has existed since, at least, the ice age. Bows and techniques have come about to fit particular needs. The black hunter isn't supposed to be used for running Archery.
    I wouldn't use a yumi bow or an English longbow for running Archery either.... they're not designed for it.

    Junk review, A guy that doesn't use or shoot a Westen style recurve bow commenting on the bow? They are not the same as a "horsebow" and they shoot different. You called it a compound bow several times, it's not a compound in any way shape or form. You spoke about Khatra...on a centre cut bow? that makes no sense whatsoever. Khatra is a technique used to assist in the managing of the archers paradox, the technology of the Westen recurve (the centre cut) takes care of that problem. Your inability to hold the riser comfortably isn't a problem of the riser it's a problem of the user, who isn't used to handling a bow like this.

      I see you did not get the context of this review and my channel. So it’s nonsense for you - for sure. For those who know me will this be fun, interesting look at something different from the perspective of traditional archer. Thanks for comment.

      @@FactsFirst-yo8gcPurpose of this review was to find out if a modern takedown recurve can be shot with a slavic release while running, just as every other bow reviews in this channel. Just saying...

    The max draw length of the black hunter before it stacks is actually 28"
    It's the perfect bow for me to be honest, i don't get any string shock at all because i set the brace height correctly at 7 5/8" and have string silencers and i also use a flemish twist not a fast flight string which creates a lot of vibrations compared to a flemish twist....also for me the handle is perfect and not too chunky and i'm kind of a short and stalky dude.
