Great review. My wife has the 30lb longbow, and I have the 40lb long bow, and 50 lb limbs in both the longbow and recurve and I’m amazed at how consistently all of these bows shoot in all of their configurations as long as you tune your arrows. Overall, a very forgiving and enjoyable bow to shoot. If I was to pick one, the 40lb longbow seems to be the best overall for me right now on my learning curve, but I’m getting better with the 50 so who knows...

Which black hunter is it? There are several companies selling them, and there are at least two different models, since some are bamboo and some are maple laminates.
There are literally to many to count of knock offs of the original junxing black hunter mkI and mkII. Almost every amazon seller is selling a knock off or a rebranded lower quality version.
@@Briansgate well I can say this once you go traditional you may not pick up that compound again. Also I suggest going with a recurve it is more forgiving than the longbow and a tad faster as well as arrow tuning is easier because most recurve are true center shot bows good luck
