Who else than lux got killed tho. As for the lux “dominating” games comment, that’s total bs not supported by statistics. Lux as laner can at least snowball faster than everyone else (occasionally when one plays extremely well). Lux as sup loses so much of her dmg windows are so non existent, she is even more useless. Doesnt do well for dmg. Doesnt do much for cc nor heal.

20:57 it’s the Support Warding Syndrome. It happens to League of Legend players who play support. Even if it is a temporary pick, the Syndrome can still get you.

That problem you had on around minute 11:00 also happened to me, today has been awful for the servers (August 12), it happened twice and my internet was A okay, so its a League problem
aight so 1st, I'm sorry idk what the network card is so I'm not sure in that aspect, and in terms of the overlay, just the discord overlay, and since league is weird, it's sometimes there and sometimes isn't
As a masters lux main, I would say the durability patch made her a BIT weaker in some aspects but also helped her in a way too. In high elo it’s harder to make lux work but in low elo, she’s a good support and mid. I basically go for a full nuke build tho to kinda compensate through the durability patch. I go dark harvest with cheap shot, eyeball collection, last slot is preference. Then I absolute focus with gathering storm. You will also need a tear with this build but it’s worth it because you’ll chunk for hella damage and u scale amazing. I feel like this is probs lux’s best runes/build rn tbh since comet and aery aren’t bad but they don’t give u the scaling of dark harvest
Comet makes your laning phase a tad easier however DH is really bad atm it has been nerfed a lot and after durability patch and considering that lux is very mana hungry especially in the early state of the game it makes it hard to proc. Also D.shield makes it even harder to proc. DH was quite fun but nowadays it just works on low elo.
i think you'd have had a better chance with first strike and other scaling runes because of how long this game went. i know you were going for a lane domination build so it's a grass is always greener situation i guess. but i agree lux is terrible now, and you'd probably still lose with scaling runes, as a lux main i hate how riot gutted the champ with durability update and gave 0 compensations while they buff their assassins and other classes because they're too weak
And it's funny considering she has a very low CD ult with a 100% AP ratio. Like let's really not try to pretend like her ult won't almost 1-shot any adc or mid laner if they get caught up with Q. However, the Q+E damage /mana/cd sucks has it as always sucked, making Lux a support really.
They get massively out scaled here, not at all the game to focus on scaling builds and getting to end game efficiently and safely. Hence why he was looking for a lane pressure build, especially with a xin jungle. Was unfortunate how much pressure he faced in his lane mid, wasn't matched or offset elsewhere by his team so just an example of unfortunate team and game. Agreed how lux feels though. Think you're also looking for "20/20 hindsight" not grass is always greener

I used to LOVE lux like s4 and s5. Then I climbed to diamond and for a looong time I have never picked her again since it LUX seriously lacks dmg and speed and is easily outplayed by people with perception that can simply sidestep. Feel glad this got confirmed. If Pekin cant do it its no wonder my sorry ass cant pull it off.

Pekin those random dcs might be lag spikes from bad routing. they propably only last a very short time so you dont notice any internet loss, but its long enough for lol to dc you. i had the same problem and a vpn solved that issue for me.
I was laning against an Akali as lux. So you know she pushed the wave and then roamed bot. I pinged them 6 times back up Akali is coming and i proceeded to push wave and take turret plating. Bot never backed up and then started flaming me. Like CMON MAN
13:59 - Didn't they change the way red burn works so it can't kill blue buff along with Twitch and Darius bleed affects? I was pretty sure you can't kill those buffs with burn damage anymore. Did they revert that change?
11:00 i have ran into this issue multiple times and still do when go to my grandparents. They have different internet providers than we do, so i am just guessing its not on our end. Could be bad cables, but I can't confirm yet
I love Pekin. I think his Lux is great, but this is the part where I have to point out one thing as a Lux main because if I don't say it I might shit my pants. Ult was held for around 10 minutes between 14 minutes - 22 or so. Don't be stingy with Lux ult. Start blasting. Obviously try to have it for important fights, but there is really no reason to hold it so hard. The cooldown is so low you can really use it without much penalty. I'm even in the camp that using it down lane on creeps isn't that bad at all.
i understand not using ult just randomly in lane without cc. The thing that annoys me is when you dont use it in chokepoints where theres 2 or 3 people in a small space and theyre fighting your team. coz in those spaces even if theyre not cced they have little space to move and they have to choose whether to dodge your ult or your teammate's skills

the random dc thing used to happen to me quite a lot, at one point I talked to customer service and they told me to like check my internet, see if maybe my PC is running low on storage and stuff. but then it happened again and they haven't replied after I sent them another message, so its for sure smth on their end
Anybody remember the Ultimate Challenge phase in league forever ago? It was some website that would give you a character, role, and build. It made for some really silly Customs..and some really troll normals.
Idk what champ would have won that in challenger? Their Diana didn't get fed off of you, but Xin and Gragas. Xin gets hard outscaled by Diana anyway. Gragas couldn't match Camilles split AND tped to his immediate death. Who would have won that champion-wise?
Viktor, Zoe, Syndra, Leblanc would have kits that allow me to take my lead and snowball without needing my teammates. Not saying I would win but it would give me a better chance

The same stupid bug has been happening to me where my internet and ping are fine but League just does not let me move my champion or use abilities in game like I timed out, it fixes after I wait a few seconds, but it happened in a few fights and it gets very tilting. No idea what causes it
the DC issue happens to me way to often. I have a good enough connection but sometimes league decides to put me on stable 200ms. Restart magically solves it. I hate it
What an incredibly terrible game to queue into as Lux: Camile, Yone, and Diana. Seriously? Those are three COMPLETELY overstacked champions that don't care at all about how far they get behind as they move into the midgame. They get one item and they can absolutely 100-0 everyone on your team except for Gragas in a second. Playing Lux into this comp REALLY shows how degenerate the game has become. Lux's abilities are slow, their ratios are modest at best, her shield is too small to allow trades in lanes (single ability blows throw it AND still delivers damage), and even her long wind-up ultimate doesn't do enough damage to kill a support from 50% health with TWO items.

Do you use any overlays or other recording programs? I've seen them cause it but not if LoL is the only program running.

Use "e" before "q" and you'll land the snare more often. The whole video you send out snares, if they are slowed from e first it's easier.

Had the same disconnect issue with Tunnel Bear VPN. Swapped VPNS and solved the problem for me.
