Changing a troubled kitchen outlet

In older homes, #electricity can be a scary conversation. #shuttingdown the power off to an outlet isn't as simple as just going to the breaker box and shutting off the properly labelled switch. Sometimes outlets can be piggy backed onto other room outlets, and don't get me started on peoples abilities to label a breaker box correctly!!
Today I needed to change out an outlet in my #kitchen. But as with everything else in my older, fixer upper home, nothing is as simple as just changing out an outlet.
