I am a videographer and I love your channel. Great videos with amazing scenery. Connor, you have a wonderful personality that is so calming and peaceful. Amelia, you have a beautiful smile and a terrific demeanor. Your deep love for Connor is so evident. It's hard for content creators to capture the things you do, so my congrats to both of you. And yes, Barkley is sweet and fun to watch!
Thank you for the kind words! We’re glad you enjoy our videos, we still love filming and its comments like yours that make our job great. Hope you have a great week!
Connor, Amelia thank you for showing the beautyto me of Moab Utah. Even though I'm watching your video with one eye. I wished I could be there just to see it, but a cataract in my eye is stopping me from doing anything right now. It is always a pleasure to watch you guys videos ❤️
Barkley says Thanks Mama for carrying me up that steep part of the hike. Your the bests! He is looking around as you climb letters and go up the slope. He is definitely taking it all in!
We had tomato bisque by Campbell soup it was tasty. We had a smoked kipper with mayo and celery slices ( like a tuna fish) on crackers. That was yummy tonight. Yours sounds good too!
Your dog is soooo cool. I live in my truck camper also and I also have a similar looking dog. Thanks for the entertainment of your videos. I just spent 2months at quartzite, it was ok but crowded, not my thing. Anyway I adore your dog he is cool as are you guys. Thanks again
I am getting ready to do what you two are doing! With my pup as well. If you like mysteries, listen to the old CBS radio mystery theater shows, they are vintage and super entertaining! I find them on you tube. Rock on!
Yet another most excellent and relaxing (well outside of your straight up climb) video. Great cinematography and editing, getting better and better with each passing video. Thank you, as always, for taking us along on your adventures! As always, stay safe out there…..
When my hubby and I were in Utah it was 113⁰ at arches and I was not about to go hiking but hubby did hike out to certain arches he wanted to see... while I stayed in the car with the air conditioner that just would not work. 🙄 But I survived 😅. It looked so surreal to us, canyonlands too. The whole state was unreal ❤. You guys always make it fun, keep going while you're young, cause once you get to be my age, too hard to hike like that.
113 wow! We’ll take cloudy and 40 haha. Such a beautiful state and thanks for the kind words! Glad you’re still able to enjoy the beauty in our country!
I love Moab. Such beautiful desert scenery all year round. Be careful on your way up to Montana, lots of snowy, icy roads this time of year. My older brother has been up in northern MT for nearly 40 yrs now and I live in Havre for a couple years in my 30's. The coldest two winters in my life!! Probably why I moved back to AZ 😊 I just prefer the sun and warmth, especially the older I get. Safe travels!
Carol and I visited Moab in 2015 on a motorcycle trip. We toured Arches and it was really crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed Canyonlands National Park. There weren’t nearly as many people there. So many breathtaking views. That tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich is the best on a cold day! We hope you had a great time and safe travels!
That's awesome.. I just bought my first truck camper and I'll be in logan/Hyrum. UT next week for orientation for the new job then I'll be heading to Tempe,az for the new job...maybe I'll see you while I'm in utah... this is my first time being in a new 2023 palomino ss1240... gonna be interesting haha
For audiobooks, I recommend good sci-fi: Seveneves, Project Hail Mary or any of the We Are Legion series (maybe start with the first one so it makes sense). A good narrator is absolutely key to a good audiobook. Or maybe the reverse is true - a sub-par narrator can really ruin a good story. :)
Another great video you guy's! We were in Moab and Area this last Summer, but off season looked great with No crowds! We sold our truck camper, however because we were so far over GVWR, that even with all the mods I knew it was not safe. Kudo's to that 3/4 Ram for not letting us down for 2 years! Got a pull behind now.....but do miss the Adventure factor of the TC! Take care you two!/three!
I love the Moab area. Thanks for sharing your hike. I enjoyed reading Lessons in Chemistry too. Try listening to Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver.
Welcome to Utah. I live in Draper at the south end of the Salt Lake valley. If you are looking for a good hike up here I would highly suggest checking out American Fork canyon. Drive all the way in until you hit the gate and park in the lot at Pine Hollow trail head. You can then hike up the road as far as you want. It is spectacular in the winter and much less crowded than the Cottonwood canyons as there are no ski resorts in AF canyon.
You are welcome. There are a lot of cool things to see here. Just as an FYI, Old Town Park City is also worth checking out. However, the Sundance Film Festival is taking place on the 18th - 28th, and depending on what is happening on which days, it can get very crowded up there. Robert Redford's (or what used to be Robert Redford's) Sundance resort/ski area is also a fun place to check out. This time of year, you access that from the Provo Canyon side. If you are looking for any other tips or ideas, feel free to ask.@@LivingLargeCamping
Beautiful scenery. I just don't understand permits at a national park, which we own, to film. I've noticed several signs in northern Ohio along Lake Erie that tell people to be sure and get their bird watching permits. Don't know what happens if you're in one of the "bird watching" lots if you don't have one. Just seems a little ridiculous to me.
And when they do require permits, they’re never easy to obtain. Oh well, thanks for tuning in this week! We thought it was a beautiful video while editing!
Hi all love the video. What camp ground were you staying in ? The wife and I are heading to Arches in April thought it would be the best time to go can’t wait to get our truck camper out there and start exploring.
Hello! For any commercial filming, TH-cam included, they require a permit and fee for the specific parks. We don’t plan very far in advance which allows us lots of flexibility, but makes planning for permits and such rather challenging. Hope this helps!

Thank you, Robert! Bark says thanks for the bone!
This looks like so much fun. I really enjoy watching yall's videos. Keep up the good work. Thanks againg for sharing yall's experiences with us.
I recommend the book, The Education of Little Tree read by Peter Coyote. It is an excellent book about a young Cherokee boy growing up.

The “David Wolf Mysteries” is an entertaining audiobook series.
The orbs series is good
The tracker series
Some books are free on audible plus
Lance truck camper folks here too. You are right Moab is truck camper territory. we felt so at home in Moab that we bought property near Moab…
Great video. Utah is a beautiful place.
It really is!

Definitely a benefit to both setups, but the best part is being able to change campers as our needs change. Thanks for the support!

Thanks Sandra! I’ll give the book a look!

Another great video! We were thinking about doing Moab area next January. Any suggestions?
It definitely gets cold, but no crowds make it worth it!
Hi all love the video. What camp ground were you staying in ? The wife and I are heading to Arches in April thought it would be the best time to go can’t wait to get our truck camper out there and start exploring.
i dont understand why you dont get a great dane lol
What is the name of this hike ?
Enjoy your channel. I’m sure I missed it but curious about how you guys make a living? Is it solely from TH-cam?
❤
Hi. Question from Australia: why do you need a permit to film in a National Park?
Hello! For any commercial filming, TH-cam included, they require a permit and fee for the specific parks. We don’t plan very far in advance which allows us lots of flexibility, but makes planning for permits and such rather challenging. Hope this helps!
Hurricane utah
I'll check it out!
I wish bloggers would date their videos with at least showing the month/year.
The release date is usually within two weeks of when we were there!
1000 white women was a great car listening audio book.
