Nice gear. The Tensor looks like a nice upgrade. Didn't realize it's the same weight as the older model. That stake driver looks really handy. The ground is hard packed where I'm at. I worry about putting holes in my shoes. 😅
That stake driver/shovel handle looks cool. I always just keep a soda pop lid in my ditty bag to drive in those hard to use stakes. I also have a couple of food bags from the Backcountry Exposure Etsy shop and they are well made for sure.
Nice year end review! Caution on the Flextail Zero. I packed mine for the CT and 3 days in I had it airing up my pad while I was putting gear in my tent when it sucked up a pine needle which seized the motor and burned out the unit before I could get it turned off. I had to exercise my lungs on the rest of my journey. lol.
That Tensor and pump look like a nice combo. I need to upgrade my sleeping pad...I'm still using an old Thermarest Deluxe from the late 90's.. Still works great, but it's a bit heavy by today's standards. That's cool that Zpacks sells their poles in singles. The one big change to my hiking gear I made this year was to try out some trail runners (Hoka Speedgoat 5's) and they have been great. I do still prefer my Danners, I like some ankle support, but the trail runners performed really well. The only downside is that they wear out quickly. I do a lot of off trail stuff here in the deserts of Utah and I think I've put around 300 miles or so on them since I made them my daily hikers and the tread is quickly disappearing. They're still light and bouncy tho. Thanks for the reviews!
I contacted Nemo about the issue with the chair. They told me after several emails that it would be fine for me to use epoxy to re-adhere the tips to the frame. I wanted to be certain it would not void the warranty. I was planning on discussing with our local Rep when I see him again, but he’s kinda new and he’s learning from me 😂 Solidly nice guy though!
Reps are always an interesting lot. Some are super knowledgeable, others are doing their best, while a very small amount you can tell are irritated they have to do rep work instead of skiing or mountain biking because it’s clear that is why they took the job haha. Fortunately our rep for NEMO is actually super knowledgeable. I will try to get ahold of him.
Appreciate your viewpoint!
Thanks! I appreciate you watching!

The tensor has been a great pad, and you definitely will not regret buying the jereko driver! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Digging the new Nemo pad. Absolutely love the flextail pump as well.
Me too! Glad you like it! Thanks for watching!
Love this!
Thank you!

Thanks for watching! Yes trail runners are super comfy but definitely don’t last as long. I like to hike in Topo shoes!
Gonna add all this equipment to my Christmas list. Thanks for the great advice!
Thank you for all the support!
Timestamps are really handy for new viewers to your channel like me.
Excellent video! I have the same pad and poles, I agree with your review.
Thank you!

I always remove the trekking pole baskets after losing several.
That is a good way to fix it if you have repeatedly lost them.

It’s true!
None of those lamps ever stand up straight do they?
I’m not sure i follow your question, sorry.
