    ADDENDUM:
    After a few people asked me if Octocil affects the bacterial colony of the filter, I decided to post this comment, hoping to enlighten anyone who has this same doubt.
    The package leaflet doesn't say whether or not it affects the filter's biological colony, but I took preventative measures after treatment.
    After the treatment, I changed the water every other day by 20% and added STABILITY and PRIME from Seachem to prevent an ammonia spike for 7 days. I ran tests and nothing came up.
    This leads me to conclude that Octocil does not affect the filter's biological colony.
    I really could have mentioned that in the video, but I completely missed it.
    Sorry about that.

      Im sorry but this information is so wrong.. maybe your filter is very strong.. i used Octocil maybe 25 times it totally destroy your filter almost every time.. almost resets the filter.. the ingredients -acriflavinium chloride 1.4 mg, rafoxanide 0.66 mg, ethacridine lactate 3.7 mg, proflavin hemisulphate 0.26 mg, methylthioninium chloride 0.13 m.
      All anti bacterial this information your dealing can cause alot og people to wipe out a whole tank, if they continue feeding as they always have.. they will end op with serious no2 no4 spikes.. this is my personally record with Octocil..🙏🙏

    Que buen vídeo !!! Tengo una pregunta, como has sacado la muestra para examinarla en el microscopio? Has sacrificado el pez o has raspado alguna zona del cuerpo ?

      Es un excelente libro de una excelente persona.

    Uma questão! O remédio octocil não afeta as bactérias da filtragem biológica? É seguro usá-lo diretamente num aquário principal sem qualquer transtorno a nível biológico no nosso filtro?
    Obrigado e continua com os bons vídeos!!! 😀😀

    • @PSKaqua
      @PSKaqua  ปีที่แล้ว

      Olá, meu amigo!!!
      Alguma coisa poderá afetar… apesar de não ser um antibiótico, não aparece nada na bula a referir que afeta a biologia do filtro.
      Após ter feito o tratamento, fiz tpa’s dia sim, dia não de 20% e acrescentei stability da seachem para prevenir algum pico de amónia. Fiz testes e nada apareceu.
      Realmente podia ter referido isso no vídeo, mas passou-me completamente. Vou afixar um comentário a referir isso. Obrigado por teres tocado no assunto.
      Grande abraço e obrigadão pelo apoio. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

      Hello my friend!!! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
      I'm glad the video is clear and easy to follow.
      I usually only give vitamins soaked in food. But of course, between treatments, if the fish are eating, it's always a help to the fish's recovery.

    Hola, alimentas esos 6 días a los peces?? Gracias

    • @PSKaqua
      @PSKaqua  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ¡¡¡Hola amigo!!!
      Lo ideal sería no alimentarlos, ya que la comida y las heces que producen contaminan aún más el agua, que ya es de mala calidad debido a la medicación.
      Sin embargo, si los peces comen, alimentarlos cada dos días con comida impregnada de vitaminas puede ayudarles a recuperarse.

    Nice tank, is it brutto or netto 360 l? What was pH and T at the time of treatment? What filltration have you on this tank?

    • @PSKaqua
      @PSKaqua  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello my friend!!!
      Thank you very much... ☺️
      The aquarium is 180x40x50cm which is 360 liters, with decorations and sand it will be less. But for treatments, I count the total liters.
      I have the PH at 6.5 and the temperature at 29/30ºC.

    Excelente vídeo, a minha questão é também sendo esse medicamento forte se não tiveste nenhum peixes que se tivesse ressentido. Já agora introduziste bactérias após o final do tratamento?
    Grande abraço e continua com os teus vídeos 💪🏼

      Como é , meu amigo!!!
      Não houve nenhum peixe a ressentir-se, muito pelo contrário, estiveram sempre muito ativos.
      Nem parecia que a água estava como a de Chernobyl.
      Após ter feito o tratamento, fiz tpa’s dia sim, dia não de 20% e acrescentei stability da seachem para prevenir algum pico de amónia. Fiz testes e nada apareceu.
