High honor money ending is my favorite ending. I mean, I’m not even sure why they called it the “go for the money” ending. It’s more like going for Dutch and Micah to protect John, and if Arthur somehow makes it out alive, maybe even give John the money so he can run away and live peacefully. Also you can troll Micah’s eye
In a way it would've been cool to have towns you've sent into lockdown and whole areas of the map closed off as you progress through the story, like how the bottom of the map is closed off the whole time as Arthur from the Blackwater robbery, until finally you're trapped in that creepy hillbilly corner of the map in the final chapter. would have shown how the gang reak havoc wherever they go and reflected the feeling of the world closing in on the gang well, then the whole map opens up again when you play as John. But yeah that would've been a pain gameplay-wise so I see why they didn't do that

Controller drift can happen through a variety of reasons. 3 common ways are 1: eating while playing 2: dropping the controller alot 3: being 2 rough with your thumbsticks. 3 is most common in my experience. My friend stayed with me a few wreks and i have 2 xboxes so i was hyped to have a gaming partner in the dame house and i bought him a.brand new controller since the one thst came with that xbox was worn out and he played alot of apex and i could always hesr him being rough and pushing the sticks really hsrd in every direction and within a month it had drift where as my controller is a year old and i always move ajd push my stucks gently and its still fine. Even if you sre playing online PVP and ate having to be quick and are panicking you dont havento be rough you can move the sticks quick and also be be gentle.

Of course, it is a video game. If the story really followed the reality of criminal activity in the late 1800’s it would be very dull. However there’s some really good videos on TH-cam that point out the myriad details Rockstar included that are painfully historically accurate. You should do a whole series where you take something really good and well made and trivialise it whilst criticising it.
For the sake of continuity, it actually makes sense to finish Red Dead redemption 2 as a bad guy so that John makes a point to not remember him. And if you play the epilogue, you'll know the conversation he has with Charles
I’d agree but if you sat down to talk to Mary, Tilly or I think Karen, it shows that Arthur hates killing innocent people and hates it even more that he can compare himself to Micah. Micah is the complete opposite of Arthur which is why we hate him as a character. He’s good for nothing, he cares little to nothing about the people he’s with and in the end it was his plans that made everything go wrong in the end. Arthur Morgan as a character is anything you make him out to be but he over everything else is a good man, his Arc from a no good thief to a man willing to give his life for a friend despite everything going against him shows it. Why John doesn’t talk about Arthur? Who knows but it’s better to leave a dead man rest than taint his name by speaking about him to truly awful people
Arthur literally tells John on multiple occasions to “not look back” and that’s the whole idea of him not talking about Arthur. Everyone deals with grief and alias differently and Arthur wanted John to live on to have the life that he couldn’t have with Mary through John as Abigail. The bad ending makes no sence and it makes sence why John dosent talk about Arthur for the sake of the fact that it’s what Arthur would’ve wanted. He would’ve wanted him to move on and forget his past, and the moment that John looks back to kill micha, it’s the inevitable catalyst that results in the Pinkerton tracking him for the first game.
What settings did you use while playing? your quality looks crisp and nice while my game quite literally emphasizes on the "sad cowboy" likeness of Arthur
I think all the times you have these massive shootouts in cities kinda disconnect from Red Dead Redemption II. I don’t recall Red Dead Redemption ever doing that. If you did it was against bandit strongholds and it flowed a lot better with the story.

The online mode gets a bad rap. Its really fun if you know hoe to enjoy it for ehst it is and role play. I love running my gang online and building my ampire bootlegging moonshine and watching my rjches grow and dressig like an 1800s millionare with my bowler hat and gold chains on my coat and red tie lol. Feels satisfying. I also plsy csll to arms every day for a warm up. Even if its not the most.content rich or exciting game in the world, red dead online is super relaxing when you're having a hard day. Jus existing in RDR2s world is satisfying.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is legitimately my favorite video game of all time, I love it that much, it's seriously the closest game that I've played to being perfect. Also, on my current(and like 8th playthrough of it) I'm doing it in first person with no hud besides from the dot while aiming and a compass, it is so much funner than in 3rd person, becaus of the difficulty snd immersion.
