The pedestal would be good in a light box.
Exactly what I thought
I would have picked that up for displaying and photographing finds too
Yes! Especially for her paperweights ☺️
I sometimes yell at the t.v when she passes up on things like the stand, beautiful.
Agree!! I would have got that pedestal
The glass at 4:55 is a whiskey glass and the indent is for holding a cigar.
came on here to say the same thing lol. Ive bought my husband many of them
I love all the knowledge on this channel! Thanks so much!!
Buy what makes you happy and gives you joy! There is no harm in rescuing the imperfect pieces. They need loved too! 😊
Wabi sabi...perfectly imperfect. :)
we go to goodwill and other resale shops mostly for mason jars- lucky to pick up 5 or 10 each trip- when visiting family near you we stock up like crazy at your Goodwills- and my family picks them up for me (the ones near you) they never let me pay for them , but I supply all their tomato products- sauce, chutneys and salsa (we can a lot)
The brass thing is for an inkwell.
If you can buy some broken items and still turn a profit on them then I say go for it and hurray for you! You have such a good eye and knowledge of what you resell items for, I don’t imagine you losing money on an item very often. There are those times though as I’ve heard you say in prior videos that we pay to learn. You have no idea what your channel does for my spirit. Thank you
Awww, that Mexican folk art On the hand is called Milagros . I know it was from world market originally but it probably was authentic and they go for a lot of money on eBay. There’s a lot more to Mexican folk art than just the plates they sell to tourists.
I found a apricot colored Glassy Baby at a garage sale in a little small town in Nebraska for $3.00 I wound not have recognized it without watch your channel. So, thank you for teaching me so much.
That trinket box you picked up and opened was a vintage Japanese cherry blossom music box.
I can't say it enough how impressive you are! So wonderful to watch you do your work with class and instincts laced with lots of knowledge. You've helped so many people, some we know and most i think we don't! Its time for your first book!
That menorah was very nice. I would have purchased that.
OMGOSH you said GlassyBaby; last Saturday I was helping a friend to clean and open a clients “cabin.” I was wiping down stuff on a shelf and there it was a red GalssyBaby and the inside was so pretty. It made me think of you and I had to laugh.
The brass or iron item you were looking at was an inkwell stand. Two glass inkwells would go in those spaces. And pens would sit in the hooks.
I love the trinket box with the yellow and purple flowers, Jocelyn! Good decision. Fun video.
Audio is muffled
Every time I say something, I get blasted. But, I totally agree with you!
Agree!! Thought it was my hearing going bad till I watched other videos on TH-cam😆
Agree
I wholeheartedly agree with your comment about how some things at Goodwill defy explanation or understanding!
The odd shaped "vase" is actually a glass for bourbon that also holds a cigar.
That glass pedestal would be great to display things during a sale!!
Fun finds even the broken stuff is neat!!!
And you saved it from the landfill!
On vacation on a cruise and I had to get my CLL fix. So relaxing. Cheers!
Your audio was a little muffled today.
No audio problems for me. Check your settings.
I can’t understand much on her audio today. It has been strange for a week or so. Other sites are fine
@@kandiseschnoor9378it is the noise cancelling microphone she uses. It does a great job cutting down the music (less copyright strikes for her to deal with) but it will affect her voice whilst it is muffling the music.
I would say that was a pearl clasp that has maybe been repurposed on the necklace 😊
Ahhh we love the land of baggies! Purple box is sweet!
If you want to clean any glass that is fuzzy or you can't reach, use false teeth cleaner . It fizzles an really cleans. Just an FYI.
So glad you picked up the red enamel pot. It's so worth ordering a replacement lid. Great haul!
Sometimes you need to pick up the broken stuff. Some of them are just to cute or something very unique! I pick up broken stuff.
It's tough enough selling on line without having to deal with "broken stuff."
My Goodwills suck... todaY I bought 2 puzzles and 2 books for myself..better than nothing I guess
You could put those coasters from the baggies on each desk at your new shop!
Thank you so much Jocelyn I really really enjoyed watching you getting all those cool things from the Goodwill stores. It’s a real shame that you didn’t find the lid for that red dish. But, that’s probably why it was there. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
the brass object at 19.30 is a dual inkstand- the ink bottles are usually cut glass or crystal
I NEEEDDD a SOLD video soon, please!
She's raising a family, managing and overseeing an online business that includes multiple locations and venues (one of them under construction in anticipation of a move), shopping for more stock, editing, and posting (often) multiple videos every day, and hosting live sales...and YOU "NEEEDDD" more??
@@GuyWithTheDogs preach it!!!
Thanks to learning from you, I found a sterling silver tea set at Savers recently for $7.61! 529g of sterling silver.
The clear glass 'pedestal' at 1:00 was upside down. It holds teapots. I loved the salt glazed wood ducks 😊
I think the pink bird plate is beautiful. I don't think it's a flamingo but it can be anything you want it to be.
That necklace is amazing 😍. Something my Grandma and I would have grabbed! Love it.
The glass pedestal for a paperweight collection display!!!!!!!!
🧐10:09.. La Mano Milagros ..Mexican miracle or healing hand. It was a great price. 👍
Keywords: Wood Hand Milagros. They sell for about $20.
Lots of nice things on the shelves. Hi from Kentucky!
Love the pottery star, pink trinket box with flowers, Lennox bunny dish, and your new hair color is cute.♥️
That hand with the Milagros could be worth good money. It is called Healing Hand. I would have grabbed that up for only $1.49. I love finding latin american art.
The sound isn't good
Your sound came in perfect on my end. :)
If your sound isn’t good check your settings. It may be on your end. I’m not having any audio or video issues.
Love your videos
There's some surprising value in light switch and outlet covers!
Great finds
Thanks 😊
Nice plates you found. 😊
Video and Audio good today
The made in Mexico bowl is so pretty
I love the Lenox bunny piece.
Some really cute, beautiful things.❤❤
Love the pedestal So many uses !!!
I missed the explanation on why the sound is so bad, if it was to block out music etc? I would rather have the background music, at least I would know what hou are saying.
She has a new mic and camera.
Closed captions are the only way to know what she's saying.
I can hear you fine and I am glad you don't have to compete with loud music
Like the trinket box.
The gold medal thing holds 2 ink wells and a pen.
Exactly. It’s an inkwell and pen stand
Goodwill in our area charged to much for the items. 😮
Juliska makes the fragile vases similar to that one
Loved the incolay stone box! I've sold several of those. Good find! 😁
Hello from Mexico 👋
All the Good Will’s use the same carts, why don’t you carry a mat for the cart to protect your glass?
Even single shakers! I love them regardless.
Love the Bunny covered dish so cute. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Hey there Jocelyn ❤😊
Good evening all! ❤
The goodwill looks full ❤
Maybe the odd shaped glass vase thing that you found at the beginning fits that metal thing?
4:25 the color of that pottery is really nice.
Loved that dish with pink bird. You have a good eye like I do.
I have a very delicate wine glass that has similarities to what you shared in the video. Mine is Abigails La Boheme.
Can we go to Finders Keepers, estate sales or an auction please?
We don't have estate sales in our area, most of the local auctions are online, and others don't allow filming, and the closest Finders Keepers is almost full retail--it doesn't really make sense to shop for resale anymore.
Glassyba y opened another factory in Montana and my brother and his family live there. I want to tell him to keep his eye out for one at Goodwill, and he looks at me like I’m telling to clean my room. He doesn’t know what glassbaby is and it would be too difficult to explain over the phone. Anyway, he would be as flummoxed as all of us searching for one and sending all the small votive holders. Love the bowl you found ❤❤❤
Send him photos of examples.
He could just google it. Not that difficult.
The glass you found at 4:57 I think I saw in original box today and it’s a whiskey glass and the grove is for a cigar!
I’m the crazy bunny lady and would love that Lennox bunny dish!
I rescued a piece last week too 😤 I can’t live without some things 😅
Hiking or sitting home in the AC! I live in New Mexico!
Double inkwell
I'm pretty sure that metal cool thing with the squares is an inkwell holder.
Pink bird! Flamingoes have black coloring on beaks.
The metal thing at 19.26 is a picture frame missing the glass.
There is still some value in broken items! I’ve sold lots of imperfect piece’s throughout the years ❤
16:40 I loved that, was that an original?!
Should have got the glass pedestal would be great when filming
Please can we have a video of the booths getting stocked
Because she doesn’t have enough to do, you pressure her to entertain you and your requirements?!
I think the brass thing with the missing squares was for ink wells. Maybe Victorian Era??
Somebody has to love broken stuff too!
6:24 pretty sure the clear candle holder was anchor hocking
Just a pink bird😊
I think someone can do something to fix that trinket box..it’s so pretty!😍
I always hear you talk about glassy babies. What exactly is a glassy baby I think I missed it?
Google will answer your question thoroughly 😊
Such a shame that so many things are cracked and broken.
Tracy porter hand painted vases
Looks like it would hold ink wells
I was hoping you’d find that red lid!!!!
Me too! I wonder why she bought a pot without the lid. Probably will return at a later date and will look out for it.
Your audio is coming in muffled at times and clear in other parts of your video. I have my volume turned up more than usual . I love your videos and will continue to watch them, I just wished you didn't have to use new audio mic .
Morning lv Ann uk🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
07:54 The necklace had a junky costume fishhook clasp on it, sold in craft stores everywhere for a while. I usually can't throw them out fast enough if I find them loose. Early 90s faux Ethnic necklace, but they do sell. (just not to me; I wore them the first time around and am not up for seconds.)
Same clasp on fine vintage jewelry and pearl necklaces ...most are 14k. Hoppe you are checking before tossing. I love the 80s and 90s wooden animal necklaces. They are still worn as are some of the fashion.
Ya the one on the necklace is a repro of the vintage ones. They are really obvious when you get to know them. I make jewellery and use to always get them back in the 90s when I first started, now I won't use them. The true old ones I love still and are often sterling and gold.
Do you like alabaster vase
Wish I could see a old rolling at my goodwill we have trash
Thanks for your hard work. The background noise is very loud. Clanking and moving of objects and voices
What do you suppose that she can do about that??
Grimwades is an old English make 🎉
I would make baggies with the things I don’t like. You already paid for it And put in antique shop
But they may not be sellable in an antique mall since most of her baggie leftovers aren’t desirable in that market.
I think the chipped porcelain trinket box and the bowl were still winners.
Too bad they were chipped 😞
