By the end of the song when he’s screaming ‘are you in pain like I am’, I’m always right there in the moment. Music creates community through emotional vulnerability. Some people are seeking quality connections with real people- this why so many of us are drawn to your sincere reactions. That opening piano for Ascensionism is like walking into a dark and empty arena, with a spotlight on the solo piano player. Like a final battle, and you can feel the catharsis coming. I have a love/hate relationship with Vore. I love the "lorna shore" aspect of it, I love the lyrics, I love the instruments, I love the vibe it carries. And then, an hour later, I hate those same things I love, except lyrics. It's a song I need a specific mood for.
So interesting how the same lyrics can be interpreted in so different ways. That same line from Vore also hit close to home, but to me it's more on a spiritual level, kinda circling back to the Summoning when he says "I want to see the other side" and in Chokehold "Show me that which I cannot see". It's the flip side of the world, beyond the veil, what forces are pulling the strings to life? What are the secrets? I wanna knoooow.
Lorna Shore was the big surprise for me last year for i wasn't into this extreme Deathcore stuff, so many if those bands sound extreme because they want to sound extreme, there's often no soul in it, a lot of affection. Lorna Shore is different, Will Ramos is different and those guitar solos are unbelievable. And Wills vocal cover of Chokehold got me into Sleep Token and what a journey it was since then. I getting 50 soon, I'm into the heavy music for 35 years now, its my biggest passion. Take me back to Eden came out at the end of May and i guess it's already my most heard Album ever. Dozens, hundreds of spins and i can't stop, i listen to it every day, i inhale it...... And it does wonderful things, it improves my English, it improves my singing(don't mute, we are in the same boat😂), i don't have any neighbours, i can run around outside and sing as loud as i want(and can) and really, when you know every line word for word and you imagine😬 you're hitting evrey tone it takes me on a different level. And this opens up another aspect for me. I'm not a fan of masks. Slipknot for example never had chance because I don't like their horrormask attitude..... And i was sceptical when i started to learn about all those secret and mystical things around this Band. But there's so much to indetify with in their music/lyrics, when you put your imaginary mask on, you can be Vessel and Vessel can be anyone..... That's maybe bullshit 😂 but that's what I experience.....

Whenever you get around to making a Discord I’ve got one performance in particular that you should watch-the one where I was in the audience 😂 It’s a good audio recording, and also there are two timestamps where I can distinctly hear myself shouting “woooo!!”-even though I was on the other side of the stage from the person recording 😅 I about died when I came onto TH-cam looking for footage of the show and heard myself in the background of someone else’s video 💀

It’s one of my favorites but because it’s so emotionally charged I can’t listen to it too often, it makes me well up every time 😅 Vore was a grower for me, I wasn’t immediately into the heavy parts but the more I listened to it the more it hit, and I LOVE Lorna Shore and their heavier songs. I want to love Lorna Shore but the drumming puts me into sensory overload. I love Wills vocals though. Vore is a favorite for me. I wasn't crazy about this one at first, but after watching it live, wow, totally changed my perspective on this. I'm not into screaming/harsh vocals as much but this song really grew on me, especially the clean vocal parts. If course Vessel is phenomenal so yeah 😊 IV helps scream the lyrics live but you can tell between him and Vessel (of course Vessel did all the screams in the recorded version) but live IV really helps Vessel bring it.... can't wait for you to do some live reactions. When you get to the live performances, I promise you will be very happy 😁. Like I said before, Vessel and III put on a hell of a show. IV and III really started cutting up on the USA part of the tour though. I could definitely see a difference from their tour overseas to here. I tried to look up tickets for the show in Las Vegas in April and they're already SOLD OUT 😭. You can put your name on the waiting list for future tickets but naw, not at $500 a ticket. I'll just have to wait and see when they launch a regular US tour. Ah well.... ✌️

My husband likes RnB & Hip Hop more than rock 🤫, and I like it too, but rock will always be in my soul. And Vessel and crew have touched it deeply. I hope they come somewhere near me on the next tour.... I'm going to have to plan WAY ahead, get an RV or something 😂😂. I don't care what it takes, I want to see them so bad! And he's going to come along for the ride lol.
@@NikkiWright-STLVR23 I'm in the UK so really can't complain at all. Really hope you get to see them live next year. Bigger venues on the cards I'm sure, which will mean more tickets. I'm deciding what design for a ST tattoo....a huge decision!

Ofcourse there are lorna shore fans here. Will ramos brought me to sleep token. But i agree with you, i think its the drum difference. Too many blast beats in lorna shore. But still love Will, Lorna shore (esp Pain remains trilogy), and ST. 🖤

I saw them live and after hearing myself sing the entirety of TMBTE in a recording, I suddenly didn't care as much anymore. Even if I sound terrible, I don't care. It is fun! 😊

I wasn't crazy about this one at first, but after watching it live, wow, totally changed my perspective on this. I'm not into screaming/harsh vocals as much but this song really grew on me, especially the clean vocal parts. If course Vessel is phenomenal so yeah 😊
IV helps scream the lyrics live but you can tell between him and Vessel (of course Vessel did all the screams in the recorded version) but live IV really helps Vessel bring it.... can't wait for you to do some live reactions. Enjoyed it as always. Look forward to tomorrow. 🤘✌️

@@BraindeadBreakdown nah, that was the room below version but was not FILMED during the room below show. It was just so popular that they made the stripped back version into a music video. When you get to the live performances, I promise you will be very happy 😁. Like I said before, Vessel and III put on a hell of a show. IV and III really started cutting up on the USA part of the tour though. I could definitely see a difference from their tour overseas to here. I tried to look up tickets for the show in Las Vegas in April and they're already SOLD OUT 😭. You can put your name on the waiting list for future tickets but naw, not at $500 a ticket. I'll just have to wait and see when they launch a regular US tour. Ah well.... ✌️
