    Whats on the front? Did you use the belltech spindles or just wind the torsions?

    • @OXCFilms
      @OXCFilms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes upfront we are running the 2" beltech drop spindle and swayaway torsion bars

      @@OXCFilms what do the swayaway torsions do?

    • @OXCFilms
      @OXCFilms  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They have more spring rate. So when you crank them down to lower your truck you still have some spring action

      @@OXCFilms true.. so do you think if I chucked spindles on and wound the stock bars if I needed more low, that should still be a much better ride than just winding the torsions alone aye?

    • @OXCFilms

      On this truck we had spindles and also loose torsion bars to get the ride height we wanted but it felt like old springs upfront. With these torsion bars it made a huge difference, now it has a much better ride quality

    What air shocks did you use?

    • @OXCFilms

      We used the monroe adjustable ir shocks. We also have a video on that install

    Hey I believe you said in an older video that you were using air shocks in rear. I’d like to do the same so I can haul a motorcycle in the bed with it lowered. If you are, what are you using?

      For others still looking, He made a dedicated video for it which does a good job further explaining what he’s done. Here’s the link

      Hey whats up. I was about to share the same link you posted. Those adjustable air shocks worked for us with a 3" drop. If you truck is stock height you would have to get a different size shocks. Hope it works out for you 👍

      @@OXCFilms I’ve got an 87 toyota pickup that I’m planning on using street edge or bel tech 3” lowering leaf springs. Am trying to figure out if and what air shocks I should use if I want the lowered look with still being able to toss a 350 pound motorcycle in the back with out bottoming out. Can I ask your opinion on bags for rear with coil overs up front?

    • @OXCFilms
      @OXCFilms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well to be completely honest with you, these shocks arent super heavy duty, they do work prettt good but on heavier loads it will bottom out pretty quick. And you can go with street edge since it is the same as belltech. We did a install video of street edge on a 95 pickup

      @@OXCFilms do you think they would handle a 350 pound sport bike without completely bottoming out?
