I recently bought a 2020 Audi Q3 technic version (top of class). I've had it now for 5 months, and let me tell you, I love this vehicle. I got the Daytona Grey pearl color. There are very few things I do not like about this car. As a matter of fact, I think the only thing I dislike about the car is the automatic start/stop system, but I simply turn it off every time I start the engine. The thing I love the most? The Bang/Olefson sound system, with the ability to play music from an SD chip. The whole media display screen is superb.
You can programm the car to turn the start-stop function off. At least it is possible with any modern bmw when you have the ODB adapter and an app. Here in Germany it is called the carly app or bimmer code. Pretty sure there must be something similiar for Audi cars.
Thing that annoys me about this car is no seat memory. Such a tech heavy car, missing something that's been around for years. Apart from that, I love it
So nice to hear somebody else talk about how busy some car designs have gotten. I completely agree that the overall shape of the new Q3 is very nice, but, yeah, those front fake vents do make the front a bit busy.
Interior and exterior is great but the engine noise and sluggish transmission made me get into a cheaper CPO 17 a6 3.0t after 7 months really happy with it...
The Drive Modes include one called Individual. Click on the box next to the word Individual and you get some extra options for the vehicle. I always select the SPORT options there. AND, you can shift the transmission to stay in a lower gear to keep the revs up. Move the shifter lever to the side and then up or down to select a gear. For better performance
Wow! I own a 2019 Q5 Technik and I'm a kind of jealous about the new Q3 interior... I still have 3years to go before enjoying this technology into my next Audi... 😢
Q5 is going to get a refresh very soon. So you’ll get all the tech too. Just look at the A4 facelift, that’s all the stuff the new Q5 will get. Not the biggest improvement though
Audi generally has a very clean and premium look but the excessive plastic busyness in the front and back facia don’t help the look, also either give us true exhaust tips or please stop the FAKE crap.
Debating between this Audi Q3 and the Lexus UX 250H. Anyone out there have any words of wisdom? I have watched so many reviews, test drove both and I still can't make up my mind.
Well it really depends on what you want. If you are financing, get Lexus because you want the reliability. If you leasing, get the Audi. I am a owner of UX250h. I personally don’t need a bigger car and I don’t want to pay for gas. So I picked the hybrid. Also, I found out you get green car discount with insurance. :)
I owned this car for a year- 2020 Q3 s line. Super unimpressed with the drive, don’t know what this guy is talking about- looks and tech wise it looks awesome but the throttle and transmission are seriously lacking and totally diminish the drive and car overall. Also, terrible fuel economy. I had a 2019 Q5 which is heavier and with more power and got considerably better fuel economy. I don’t think the new Q3 is indicative of what an Audi is because the rest if the lineup is pretty damn fantastic.
Hope you do more reviews Max. Love getting your “tall person” perspective on cars.
Yes Max! Represent us 6'4" people!

L Duranceau what do you think about the trunk? Do you think it is small? Would golf clubs fit well?
@@arnaudachs4815 golf clubs fit in mine!
How's the drivetrain? I heard the engine gets loud inside and the EPA is terrible comapired to gla and the bmw
what is the reason that you don't you like the automatic start/stop system?

Hello Max. Long time no see. Welcome back.
what’s the color of this Q3 in the video?

And no heated steering wheel.
@@jaredtidwell2490 depends on the package, it does come with heated steering wheel
@@rayriggz16 does not. Have the most expensive version of the 2021, not a thing.
@@jaredtidwell2490 my father just purchased a 2021 Technik and it has heated steering wheel. The button is on the steering wheel
@@rayriggz16 I see, you aren’t in the US. Apparently, it varies when you are out of the US.
The Q3 is a really nice car ! I juste love it

Will Canada get the sport Back? When?

Wait for the rsq3 sportback to come. Audi dealer said it would be coming in the fall
Jason Ebrahim I hope you are right about this
@@jalmonte91 well that was before this covid19 stuff. So it might be delayed. But yeah that's what an Audi dealer ship told me

If it's any consolation, the 2021 Q5 refresh still doesn't have updated head unit of the new Q3.
I've got one of them too. Can't wait to get rid of it!

The best part u never have to take ur key outta ur pocket
Wow great review
engine warning icon on?!?
The sweet spot is the progressive trim with S Line package. I personally don’t need virtual cockpit, it’s distracting.
You look like the young version of the actor Jason Lee ^^
I like Audi Q3 and Canmore, AB. Though I wish the Sportback will become available in Canada.
What are the other cars that you mentioned is quieter than this Q3?
volvo xc40 or mercedes glb are great!!
What is the name of that color?
It's Chronos grey 👍🏴
Where is the compass
This was good!!!
Ride height? Why not park the car next to its competitors?
Oh i love this
what colour is this please?
Chronos grey 👍🏴

This thing is 57K tax in on the road. There are a lot of options before buying this. Really small vehicle.
That's insane. You can get an top trim Toureg or a Kia Stinger
I feel like the new Audio design is not as good as before...slightly getting worse and more sterile with new cars coming out.
i miss Mike Gurr :(

Despise the fake exhausts!
❤💙💜🧡💚
Fake exhaust is such a shitty trend.
Hopefully this virus puts the nail in the coffin for them and BMW. Noone is going to buy luxury cars now, or when this pandemic is over
Nick R speak for yourself peasant
Actually the rich people will be the only people buying new cars. 😕
What a communist weirdo
Sales are actually very busy, at least here in the states 🇺🇲
Great review.
