You have truly changed my life Mike. Just got back from Thailand a few days ago and it opened my eyes to what I want out of life. And you inspired me to do so!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!!!
Love reading comments like this my man. Thank you for listening to my words, and going out there a grabbing the live you are owed. You make me proud man!
Hey Mike, my work has hired on a small crew of Filipinos that will start on Monday. Watching these videos gives me a better understanding of their culture. Very nice people that I will welcome to Canada with open arms.
The more I see your Basilan intro, the more I love it. Shoutout to the amazing guys in your security team! Love what Kulas said about them. And your interview with Georgia was so heartwarming. It's so beautiful to see how grateful she and other locals are to foreigners who come to experience the island. I'd imagine the connections you make with people like her throughout your travels feel really special and are experiences you'll carry with you for a long time. The food looks incredible, the music is festive and unique, and I'm blown away by that bamboo forge! The kris blades are gorgeous. I love how eager the locals are to share their culture with you guys. I love how excited the announcer got when you started dancing! Haha, I guess it's true, man: Your hips also do not lie. 😂 Incredible episode, as usual, man. This video perfectly showcases why you've been my favorite travel-adventure TH-camr for years, and why I hope more and more people continue to discover your channel.
Hahaha it was a wild assortment of experiences that day. That announcer still makes me laugh so much when I watch the footage. The coconut soup was soooo good too!
Your videos are one of a kind. Most travellers that go to the Philippines, mainly target the tourist attractions such as Palawan, Cebu and plenty more. Which don’t get me wrong, they are so so incredible. But seeing you explore the Philippines, especially this area, shows how much passion you have for learning about the world. I love how fully engaged you are with the locals and participating in their culture. You’ve taught me a lot about this particular area and sparked an interest in me to learn more about the history and diversity in the Philippines. thank you. :)
Thank you for these words. I always try to show a different side of the places I go. I figure why make the same videos everyone else is making if I love making my own path ❤️
Thank you for featuring Basilan ... I love the diversity in my country and how rich our culture is .. I hope sooner every Filipino will learn to appreciate the richness of our diverse culture .. 😊
Great narratives, although we've seen some of the scenes here on Kyle's Becoming Filipino, but stories about hospitality among our Muslim fellow Filipinos have been very inspiring. That Muslim woman shaking hands with you, a man & a foreigner is nice genuine friendly gesture !
I don't normally follow travel vloggers but your channel really catched my attention! I have only started watching one of your videos today and couldnt stop. I'm a Filipino who lives in London. I love that you explore different parts of the Philippines and explore their cultures. Watching your videos makes me have more knowledge about my own country. This really makes me want to go back to Philippines. Keep making videos. Take care and God Bless! ❤️
Thank You Mike, We thought this place is not safe! our eyes and mind were open and happy about what we saw. Wow so friendly people you dance like a snake enjoyed dancing with them Good job Mike and your group. Watching these videos you gives a better understanding for the tourest to visit Phil. and learn Filipino my culture. You're all amazing! Sure you gonna miss this place and the smilling faces. They're friendly people.
