Great vlog update from the 215 Homestead. Wishing you & Lot and family a Merry Christmas and looking forward to seeing your videos celebrating Hannah Grace's holiday visit soon. Best.
Merry Christmas sir. We live across from you on a small island Panaon in Southern Leyte. It was rough the first few months but our home is almost complete and I have started to enjoy life. I find taking bike rides and hiking areas away from home helps with the "me" time a person needs when living with a full house. The ocean gives me peace as well. I wish you the best and stay positive!! ❤
I live out in the province aswell, own a few houses, but atleast I'm a 2 hour drive to angeles, civiliation, other Americans, I have to go there atleast twice a month just to feel normal with people, conversating, eating, etc, and I've been here full time 15 years now, you totally isolated yourself, over time that's going to take a big toll on your mental health, when you totally rely on other people for your welfare your putting yourself in a dangerous situation, and your far away from anything, I rely on myself and myself only brother, even in the Philippines, your literally at the mercy of other people, family or not, not good,
So let’s unravel your comment… You said he isolated himself, but is reliant upon others to survive. That doesn’t make sense. Sounds as if you have isolated yourself, by being so self-reliant. Be careful of your mental health.
@@RedneckandPinay lol, I am a member of an American motorcycle club, I ride my bike to manila a few times a month, I goto the angeles vfw a few times a month, I host a monthly bbq at my house to foriegn friends, far from isolated, I can be on a plane and out of the country within 2 hours any day of the week, how's your mental health, lmfao, I bet you got beat up allot as a kid, lmfao
Hello good morning Brain glad to hear you have power I'm happy to be back the USA has changed in so many ways and a lot of it is not that very good have a great day and enjoy it
Looks rough bro...I mean jungle, peace and quiet, less stress. I was just sitting in 3hrs of Houston traffic thinking look what Philly is missing...but jokes aside the property has really came out looking good since you moved in. Love the christmas tree and the chickens...the beard looks good on you. Hope all is well. God bless.
It's a little strange not seeing you around Angeles anymore, got used to running into you at least once every trip. Hope your enjoying province life, for me nice to visit but we like the convenience of the city. Take care Brian.
There are many positives and negatives when you live in the province and tbh I choose the province over Angeles any day of the week. But I don't aspire to living like a broke Filipino.
I don't know how you do it, but more power to you. I'd get bored real quick. Nothing to see or do. Need the city need people. Sitting around waiting for death to save you, just not my ideal of living. Spending your day talking to your chickens, naming them that shit was funny
Do you remember the South Philly Mobsters, Brian? Skinny Joe Merlino, Harry the Hunchback Riccobini. He had an interesting story. When there was a hit attempt on him and he was hit several times, he calmly drove him to Pennsylvania Hospital for treatment! Who can forget Phil Chicken Man Testa. So, a I hope I inspired a few more names for you. Merry Christmas. Enjoy your visit from Hannah Grace!
When it rains in pagadian we get flash flood, our road becomes a roaring rapid river. It gets up to about 4 to 5 feet. The first time it flooded our house out. But, a simple aluminum covering the gate saved us. But, man when it come, it comes fast....
Could you rent a small backhoe/dozer for a day, to dig a diversionary trench away from the side of the road? Such a trench could prevent flooding/washout of your driveway? A relatively inexpensive solution?
Maganda umaga kumusta brian and lot lot hannah grace and bing and lot lots family. The only way you can stop the water going into your land is dig a trench off the road and about ten feet from the road all the way to the end of your property at the bottom of the other and where your drive way is place some plastic pipe in the the trench and fill around the pipe so it holds it sturdy and then fill the top in enough that it can hold weight over it. Four pieces of long coco lumber or pine then fill over it brian and your water troubles will be sorted it will flow down and through the pipe and down the other end or you could divert it and make a area like a little pond so you can use it for the garden . Or you can get the boys to make channels like they have for cabbages and strawberries to flow along side it will keep the garden moist and grow better . That would be my way of doing it.brian .I know the council should do it but they seen to have other areas there working on. But that could be the answer if the boys dig a trench along the property zone and place pipe near the drive way like a convert back fill it and make it strong enough for trucks or multi cabs to go over it. That should solve the water from flowing through. 🌴🇵🇭 Scott expat in the Philippines 🌴🇵🇭 arleneINDAYLYNZ 🇵🇭 🌴
No offense but all the people and rain and stuff reminds me of a Ma and Pa Kettle movie.. All you need is Percy Kilbride and Majorie Maine. Personally I like it

Im here in the San carlos area of negros Occidental, we built a house here on a bluff overlooking the ocean. I couldn't live that isolated

Time to get portable generator
I watch a lot of Phils videos and have yet to see Guinea Keets. Seems like that would be a natural farm bird to have in the province
Merry Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas! 🎄
I was in Mindanao, GenSan, last year. Between earthquakes and terrorists it was soon time to go.
Where in GenSan are the terrorists ?
