I've been using masterforce boxes for about 7 years now and they are exceptional. I'll never buy another box. I love the grip latch system and the 24 inch depth is unmatched by non tool truck boxes. Plus I love the gunmetal and green. Just upgrading my old 42 to a new one with a side cabinet. Can't wait to get th 72 inch for my garage.
I looked and looked for months and finally decided on the 41" top and bottom combo four years ago for graduation present for my son. I have recently discovered that the Masterforce boxes are made by Montezuma. Excellent quality and bang for buck. I highly recommend them. Also, I believe all their screwdrivers and nut drivers are still Made in USA. I have a couple of their screwdrivers and they are great also.
My friend who works construction loves Menards. He has bought anything from tools,automotive, windows,lumber, wiring to groceries. They're also open 'til 10p.m. Menards is king up here in Minnesota.
Nice overview. Their roller cabinets and tops look top notch. I like their selection of individual items, especially sockets as well as variety of makes (Channel Lock, Knipex, etc). I wish we had Menards in my area. Unfortunately the nearest is nearly 4 hours away. Maybe I could make it an annual adventure. Make a list, take a couple of buddies and make an all day road trip out of it. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. 😉
I have a corded Bosch Bulldog I love and the first bit I used in it was a Masterforce SDS bit. Went through brick like butter. I've used the Milwaukee SDS drill at work and I like the Bulldog over it.
The closest one to me is about 5 hours away. I did look into the 72” box and it was $350 for delivery, which would have still been a great deal when they were ridiculously cheap. They’re still a great deal if you’re local
If they had more sizes on hand today in 2024 I would've tried hard for a masterforce box since they are made by montezuma. If you've never used a montezuma latch system it's awesome. I have a 46" montezuma here on the farm but it's only like 18" deep. I have the drawers way overloaded and the still slide great. In 2024 the montezumas have gone up in price so now they're above the husky, us general crowd
Yeah I live about 10 miles from Menards. The one near me has very little Craftsman left because of issues with them and their warrenty B.S. as least how one of the menards workers explained to me. I did buy the 12 inch Drill press ( Masterforce ) not a bad drill press for what I paid for it. A plus to Menards you did not mention. What other big box store has a Grocery section? Hehehehe..

That’s one really cool store from the video the quality looks half way decent tbh it looks better then harbor freight. I’m definitely gonna have to check one out one day and bring a bag of cash.
Lol I know what you mean. My home town has 0 stop lights and just a few years ago it got a subway and dollar general and everyone thought it was the cream of the crop lol. We do have a bomgars though which is kind of like a Ace
good video. master force cordless tools are made by chervon same company that makes kobalt and flex watch Da Bear for more details. Have had good results from master force. Customer service at my local menards is outstanding.
I have spied Masterforce boxes in a Montezuma video. I own a Masterforce box & a work center, they are good quality & I'm convinced they are Montezuma designed, but made in China.
I wish we had a Menards in Colorado I've seen masterforce tools and boxes there probably the best of more cost saving tool brands much better than HF I used to live in Chicago where we had them
U.S. General 72" used to be a better value. I got mine for 999 with coupon. Now, they are 1300 and no coupons. Mastercraft is actually pretty comparable. It's deeper, have better latch, electrical outlet, and more top choices. I need to get that 72" before more inflation hits.
Oh dang we renovated our bathroom and ordered alot online and didn't notice that. But we did have to wait awhile on a faucet that was a special order item that got put on back order. Ugh lol
@@willb3018 I know it's required to be taxed but it's the processing fee feels like a taxed tip. It was only like 5ish percent and they charged it regardless of pick up or shipped. It's always the little things
Yes that’s why I don’t order anything from Menards that I can’t pick up in store, they they tack on charges that Home Depot and Lowes provide free shipping to home or store with no extra fees.
Ya most power tools have a 1-3 year manufacturer warranty with an addition warranty available and then most hand tools and other products have a lifetime warranty
This is great news. A Menards is going up less than 5 minutes from my house, Home Depot is about 10 minutes. Is the quality on par with a brand like kobalt/husky?

Performaxx is their midrange priced/quality tools. Toolshop branded items is their budget/thrifty/cheapo quality

As long as it says masterforce you can exchange the broken for a new one . I don't know with craftsman , performaxx or Toolshop branded items
