I had a Fujitsubo 3 inch exhaust on my gf8 wrx with a perrin uppipe and siamese dump pipe. It was the best sounding Subaru I have heard, it was perfectly loud but mildly loud. Had the perfect balance of intake noise to exhaust burble.
Definitely some ITBs to get the sound of anime. Maybe a 20v silvertop down the road👀👀. This is one of my favorite builds if’s not my favorite. I’m definitely in love with 86’s, dreaming about getting one. Also there’s the carbon fiber hood from stage 4, could be a nice touch too🔥🔥
Dustin keep this as clean and period correct as you can. Put all the kits and rad parts to a coupe ae86 drift missile! You will not regret! Love this build!

imho the best exhaust for a hachi is a RunFree. i love mines. zero rasp. quiet at idle and cruising and that nice tone. id love to get Jblood frt and rear fenders ( the ones that look like a hilux fenders) i also love my runfree hatch... super good quality 0 fitment issues. gl with build.. please dont rice it up. for lsd i am planning to go with a Giken due to not needing break in and their rep. also you should look into what Keiichi \did from ae86 club vol 5,6,7 one of those.,. the chassis reinforcement. T3 has pictures of a chassis and you can see the ground thru gaps in the metal where there isnt welds.. oh and if you werent getting a cage id say to spot weld the windshield and door openings. again gl.

I think a jdm front and rear is enough for the car. You don't need a body kit to make an ae86 look good. A lip and trd wing is as far as Id ever go. The exhaust sounds a million times better now.
That’s pretty Koo tech arts is one of the top 86 shops in Japan thanks yo juice box I got to learn about the hidden shops when they visited so many 86 shops nobody knows of but locals
I think a cool way you can go with the 86 is you can do a build similar to keiichi tsuchiya's 86 it's beautiful and clean and he was the reason for initial d and he is the drift king, I think that would be cool af
Looks like u could trim that rear bumper to fit tighter kinda like hot rodders do with old cars it'll get rid of that Lil gap. Probably have to cut a inch or so out the mounts and re bolt the rear bumper on
The exhaust sounds amazing. If you want to do drift in a AE86 get a Cupe and the Hatch made a Touge JDM style. Your Hatch looks so perfect to be in drifting, the Cupe idea is the best option. Take care, have an amazing weekend and see you in the next Vlog ✌️

19:55 PLEASE just do JDM bumpers on this hatch AE86! Especially since you're doing an Initial D style build, it wouldn't look right with an aggressive kit on it. JDM bumpers (and fog light kit with yellow/amber lenses, Takumi style) 100% agreed with getting a coupe to put a body kit on and learn how to drift in it. That would be sick!
ITBs are super cool, it’ll sound cooler but you won’t get much more power. I like the JDM style OEM and drift style dual-build but obviously that’s a bit more money. I kinda feel like you’ll do 2 builds because driving a drift car for enjoyment is not fun lol, and if you want that JDM feel sometimes, you’re gonna wanna have both lol
Too much goodies in this video! Bride seat is the way to go with the 86. The Fuji exhaust looks and sounds great, can't go wrong with the Tec-Art's formula!
I have itbs on my 4age and I love them! I was thin of making a list of all the parts and engine harness modifications required for it. Sq makes a very good adapter plate
I hope you've taken some time to watch some Juicebox for you. The Irish almost have more imported 86s than any other country and Neil over at Juicebox has some great episodes on 86 history and details.
As someone who owns an ae86 hatch, I wouldn’t drift it anymore. Yeah it’s fun and rad, but parts are super hard to find at times and when you can find them, they tend to be super expensive. If you wanna drift just go get a Z/mustang/vette. Parts are easy to get and they tend to be tanks. That way you can thrash them and not feel bad.
Honestly you should keep the hatch JDM Oem plus but still have a bit of spice😅this car is coming together so well and I love it even more with the mods you’re doing!

I got an axle back Saclam exhaust and got me a Fujitsubo Y pipe for my 370z.
I like that whole kit you showed actually but if the diffuser part of the bumper was black itd be nicer. Do that kit!

The best Hachiroku look is JDM Kouki Front bumpers (clear lights) with a lip, side skirts, Kouki rear bumper. At least that's how I'd do it ;-)
