I think the cool thing is that she isn't looking at Kirby-- Drawcia Soul is looking at *you*. It's like she _knows_ that it's the player attacking her, and not Kirby It also seems like she only attacks Kirby because she knows that there's no way to directly harm the player...

I’ve always had slight flashes of memory from playing this game and spent the longest time trying to find it and I just get so much nostalgia from watching this

Actually there’s a theory about how the souls work with drawcia being the primal example First phase:the patient is a evil being or with a corrupted mind full of hatred, obsession, jealousy and greed but still can be saved before is too late Second phase:the body is destroyed and the soul is broken, only leaving a void soul in its place and now the patient is melting in pink and blue (the colors of the soul) like a ball of paint, the patience is someone completely different Third and final phase:The soul of the patience is completely reduced to ashes only leaving a amalgam of all the evil there was in their heart “Hatred, obsession, jealousy, greed all gathered into a soulless being of chaos”, the patience showcases a lack of the ability of feeling, he’s color palette becomes mainly red and white, the patience is now completely gone being not just a different person but not even a person at all, there’s nothing left, there’s zero After all there’s a reason why Zero never had a soul form

Spoilers for kirby games: If , through the clues games have given us, we assume posessed Adeline painted Drawcia, was Drawcia originally a painting dedicated to void termina?
While not a ton of information has been given there’s been enough to know that Adeleine wasn’t the one who created Drawcia. Drawcia was originally a magic painting that eventually became sentient and escaped her painting form. She wished to turn everything into a painting like herself and using the Magic Paintbrush did just that however the Magic Paintbrush went against her and teamed up with Kirby to turn everything back to normal. From what we learn about Paintra from Triple Deluxe we learn that Drawcia and Paintra were sisters who were separated at birth. An artist created two paintings of the sisters using the Magic Paintbrush (which is how they become sentient and can escape their paintings.) what this means is that Drawcia and Paintra aren’t even their original selves but rather just depictions of them, kind of like Doodlebob. The two paintings were completely forgotten about in a “painter’s studio” for years before Drawcia came to life in Canvas Curse and before Taranza disturbed Paintra’s painting in Triple Deluxe which summoned her. The Painter’s Studio referred to in Paintra’s Boss Fight Description is most likely the area you can view the sculptures in Rainbow Curse since you can see stuff like brushes, paint tubes, and an easel in the background. We also learn in Star Allies that Drawcia and Paintra have a little sister named Vividria. Vividria knows that Paintra and Drawcia are her sisters but calls Claycia, from Rainbow Curse, Ms. Claycia meaning that while very similar Claycia isn’t blood related to them. Whether or not Vividria is also from a painting we don’t know. We also don’t know who the original Drawcia or Paintra is or why they were separated at birth. We know that Drawcia has a super strong tie to Dark Matter/Void Termina. She even creates paintings with the face 02 makes before you fight him. And her sorceress form looks a ton like Dark Matter Swordsman and her Ball form looks a lot like Void Termina and Void Termina even does some of her attacks. So whether or not the original Drawcia is a spawn of Void like Dark Matter or Kirby or only the Painting Drawcia is related due to the artist or the Magic Paintbrush is unknown.

@@franzicoy not really challenges, but Drawcia takes more hits, harder attacks, and moves a lot faster. Plus with Waddle Doo, sometimes you hit Drawcia with your beam instead of his body, therefore doing less damage which can make the battle last longer than need be.
I think that a level-editing Kirby game that mimics Super Mario Maker should be created, and Drawcia should be one of the bosses, though her projectiles should be inhalable since Kirby might still have all his limbs, and those fireballs that she throws should give either Fire, Bomb, or Crash, and she can be stunned via Crash. And as Drawcia Soul, those Para Matters should give abilities tied to their powers: the red ones give Fire or Bomb, the blue ones give Ice, and the Green ones give Spark, Plasma, or Laser. The attacks that do not involve projectiles should also leave behind Stars that Kirby can grab with his inhale and throw back.
